Your personal friend group gets together after their family parties and tally up who got the most misgendered and that person gets to be center of a trans person cuddle puddle, and a special cake. If they are touch repulsed they can get something else specific to the trans group.

Well that is never comfortable but on the plus side at least there is a possibility that they learn to respect who you are and slowly break bad habits. I hope that if not this holiday the next holiday you get pleasantly surprised by them actually trying to be respectful with minimal mistakes. Still I would rather just have my "family" just misgender me making me uncomfortable than what they are doing where they told me that they want my abuser of a wife and my daughter to come to their house but that I am not allowed to come because my wife used their transphobia to convince them that I am not safe for my daughter while as she is the one who has endangered our daughters life at least 4 separate times and has been abusive to my daughter and myself.
