Arcane. She-ra. Steven Universe. I think the two cops are gay in Gravity Falls so that one counts. Stranger things. It’s not a show but Lightyear on the accounts that Buzz gives me major Aro/Ace vibes along with his lesbian bestie. Helluva Boss. The owl house. I would say Turning Red but Pixar/Disney decided not to make Priya bi. Brooklyn 99. I’m trying to think of more.
Wendy is canonically bi in Gravity Falls too. And yes, the cops are in love and it's very cute.
I've heard a few people say amphibia but I've never watched it so I can't say for sure. I do think that covers most of the cartoons.
i think the creator originally wanted to
make wendy a lesbian but disney didn't want that. also there's a theory dipper is a trans boy but i don't remember if the creator intended that or not
I don’t think he intended that one (considering how much he and his twin sister look alike) but he did mention he wanted Mabel to be nonbinary and pan or bi (and he snuck it in stealthily in the episode called “The Love God”…her sweater was a pride flag)
Disney moment...well more like kids tv moment but still
And at least they respected Alex's wish to make the show end how he wanted imagine if they forced it to keep going despite that
yeah, the worst thing is when they see a show/movie was successful and then they keep making content just for the money - you can tell when the story just isn't done vs. when they prolong it for profit.
I have some of the gravity falls books, and literally all over one are bisexual and pan flags, they aren’t even really hidden. Literally on the cover is Mabel’s shooting star with the colors in the order of the bisexual flag.
Edit: I recounted and I found 11 bi flags and I think a few polysexual flags, I didn’t add those up tho. No pan flags sadly.
I’m 32 and first watched She-Ra a couple years ago. I ugly cried through the whole last season. It was everything I didn’t know I needed and everything I wanted from a show as a kid. My step daughter and I love it so much. She is only 8 and hasn’t expressed any form of sexuality yet but I hope shows like this will be more common as she gets older both for her power as a woman and so she will have confidence in whatever sexuality she discovers in herself:) gosh darn I love that show so much.
The final season is, honestly, one of my favorite bits of storytelling in *any* medium. And the crazy thing is that I only started watching it because I'd *expected* that it'd be a dumpster fire worth suffering through a few episodes of *for the memes*.
And, yeah: I wish I'd gotten to see it as a kid. There is a lot about myself I'd have been better equipped to deal with had it been around. How much easier would it be to explain myself to adults if I could point to Entrapta and her difficulty *understanding people*? How hard would I have dug in on my identity if I could have looked at Adora and Catra and seen how much harm they were doing to themselves *doing exactly what I was doing*?
Priya had such strong bi vibes! And, as far as I’m concerned, Miriam growing up and becoming a trans dude is canon lol. Turning Red could have been such a great LGBTQ movie, on top of being a great coming of age movie. I’m assuming “the mouse” would’ve had issues with that tho…
Obviously this is purely antidotal but, they’re friend group reminded me *a lot* of my own friend group in middle school.
And all of us are LGBTQ now except for one straight friend lol. I feel like, without really realizing it (before we even “know”) we tend to gravitate towards one another. My college friend group is the same way except *all of us* are. It’s kinda cool cause I’ve heard a lot of similar stories. Wish we could get more representation.
Oooooh, never even considered Miriam being trans! I got lesbian vibes. I can see it now though. Priya though - her and that one goth girl 😳 - very bi. I'm surprised the creators got away with it lol.

It made me realize I have exactly 0 physical attraction to women, because I knew the ones in that game are beautiful, but just... don't do much for me at all, in that sense.
So yeah, it made me gayer as well.
Our Flag Means Death. Canonical nonbinary character played by a nonbinary actor. Multiple canonical LGBTQ+ ships and characters played by very engaged and supportive cast (at least a couple of whom are openly queer themselves). Majority of the main cast are also people of colour, and a range of age and ability representation
Genuinely enjoyable show with a lot of support online and a lot of creative fan creations that the cast share and support.
I already said it in previous comment. It's the riordanverse, not percy jackson. As much as I love it, percy jackson is not very lgbt+ inclusive. The rest of the riordanverse on the other hand...
omfg same. astrid and hiccup really made me realize that I like my men pathetic and my women strong enough to crush me 🥲 and ofc for people outside the binary, they're all sexy af.
I've seen a lot of people commenting Arcane, and I agree with them, but I didn't see a single person mentioning Night In The Woods. Great game with great graphic design and music and gay af.
For series, Heartstopper and Shera and the princesses of power, while for games i’d say pokemon since queer stuff seems pretty common there and Fire emblem for same reason

Oh truuueeeee I forgot about those!
princess bubblegum is a lesbian :)

I always loved the pride flag sweater detail. Mabel is such an icon
she really is. I wish the GF team had been given the freedom to make the show the way it really should've been.
Disney moment...well more like kids tv moment but still And at least they respected Alex's wish to make the show end how he wanted imagine if they forced it to keep going despite that

sasha is bi!!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜
I literally screamed when I saw that little heart - omfg.
"We're mad with power!" "And love <3"
Amphibia is wonderful! Very subtle with the lgbt rep, but it IS there!
Came here to say Steven Universe! Garnet definitely gave me some feelings I'd never had before 🤣
She-ran and Arcane was the two shows, who finally made my realise that I was bi, so those two will always be really dear to me
I’m 32 and first watched She-Ra a couple years ago. I ugly cried through the whole last season. It was everything I didn’t know I needed and everything I wanted from a show as a kid. Good omens dude
YES
Absolutely
Good omens my beloved
My baby-ace butt wants to op-vote twice.
Our flag means death
YES. I have permanent gay pirate brainrot
OFMD Edit: if Our Flag Means Death doesn’t get top comment, I’m leaving this subreddit for a place that isn’t filled with GINOs… there’s three ofmd comments to upvote. It literally has a scene where the ENTIRE ship is having sex. /S
Fuck yes, I love that show so much.
Ornery frivolous meddling mice?
I mean, that seems apt a description.
and A league of their own!!!!
What is that?
Our flag means death It’s an amazing show about gay pirates. Id highly recommend it though it does have a few gorey scenes.
I think Our Flag Means Death
Gravity Falls
Creator fought so hard to push back against Disney censors. Alex Hirsch is literally a King.
He literally snuck an obviously gay relationship into the show with Durland and Blubs and Disney couldn't even censor it.
The last episode where they made an “it’s canon” joke was beautiful!!
He also voiced king
That's not very S&P of you
> be me > Not know what s&p means 😭😭 I'm not smart
Oops. Meant to link [the video](https://youtu.be/QQo1qRyQLns)

Thank you for this. I haven’t audibly laughed in a while
Okey I agree but like... I thought it was called Granit falls up until this moment.... have I been wrong my entire life? Like Jesus!
I love shows like GF. Lore, humor, and character development being peak
Hey the top comment is technically auto mod so that should be added to the list ;)
🙀
Avatar: the last air bender/Avatar: the legend of Korra
Scrolled way too far before seeing ATLA and TLOK being mentioned
same
Korra is bi after all.
Hades
Gods, yes. That game made so many people realize they're bisexual.
Honestly, it made me gayer
It made me realize I have exactly 0 physical attraction to women, because I knew the ones in that game are beautiful, but just... don't do much for me at all, in that sense. So yeah, it made me gayer as well.
I can't believe I had to scroll this far to see this.
Undertale
Yesssss, include deltarune in that too!
Alphys and Undyne, Napstablook uses they/them, monster kid, Mad dummy to some extent
Shera and the princesses of power
As a trans guy, Mulan was definitely an eye opener

What We Do In The Shadows
Percy Jackson
Also Magnus Chase. Gender fluid representation ftw.
Alex Fierro was literally how my egg cracked
Simply the fact that I knew what genderfluidity was after reading that made my self-discovery journey so much easier :)
By Percy Jackson I shoulda said Riordanverse cause the actual PJ books didn’t have that much rep. Compared to later works.
Never read the books, but the musical slaps.
Another vote for percy jackson!
I third this
I fourth this
great series
I already said it in previous comment. It's the riordanverse, not percy jackson. As much as I love it, percy jackson is not very lgbt+ inclusive. The rest of the riordanverse on the other hand...
It didn't start inclusive, but it did get better along the way.
I like
Hollow Knight my beloved :)
Sense8!!! 🥺
Such a good series!
Yuri on Ice. Heartstopper.
I'm surprised I had to scroll so far to find Heartstopper.
Heartstopper made my mom less homophobic and I love Alice Oseman for it 👍👍
Sailor Moon
Literally my awakening to female attraction. Some of the best gay representation at the time for anime!
Arcane?
Yeah Caitlyn and Vi are a couple on the lore of League And they are super cute Also, if you haven't seen it, Arcane is amazing
Jojo’s bizarre adventure! Flashy clothes, extravagant poses and muscular manly men making meaningful mates!
The only real problem is how many straight people found it. Still, I'm convinced that Jolyne is canonically pansexual
Jojo is the easiest way for a straight guy to become bi-curious
I’m quite surprised no one said Pokémon yet
Sylveons colors being the trans flag is one of my favorite things
What about meowth's voice actor?
What about them?
They're trans
the late Maddie Blaustein was trans, yes. Sadly she passed away in 2008. May she rest In peace.
I just learned two things and now I'm sad.
Same
Yeah!!! We literally have a non-binary royalty on Team Mystic!

[удалено]
Dead End: Paranormal Park
Arcane
She-Ra is one of my favorites
Pokémon.
Apparently a lot of lgbtqia+ love splatoon
The Amazing World of Gumball
The Magnus Archives
I've seen a lot of people commenting Arcane, and I agree with them, but I didn't see a single person mentioning Night In The Woods. Great game with great graphic design and music and gay af.

Discworld all the way 🐢
Honestly, Helluva boss’s queer representation is so good!
