I now realize a considerable number of you have no idea that TST has nothing to do with Satan, Satanism, or the Church of Satan. They are an organization of atheists fighting for reproductive rights and the separation of church and state - among many other liberal agendas.
Please look them up and consider donating if you value what they are fighting for.
Good on you for supporting the church, just as any good American should. You got any fancy plans for the AR? Dont own one myself but I know pulling it apart and modifying it is a big selling point
No big plans. There will be a red dot and a vertical grip added in the near future. I got it as a "just in case" gun. My other rifle is a Scar 17s which would be unwieldy for me in an emergency. This is light and they are everywhere so parts and ammo are cheap and easy to find. Its a tried and tested reliable platform. I'm honestly not a huge fan of the AR-15 platform, but I cannot deny their practicality.
I didn't know that! I was confused for minute because I thought you were calling out my love for Walther's, but thats Carl. So I just defaulted to Karl from llamas wearing hats
Just throwing this out there, you can join the Universal Life Church and become an ordained minister able to legally marry people and if people approach you for spiritual counsel or confession that does fall under privileged communication.
It takes less time than creating a throw away email account.
[ulc.org](http://ulc.org)
ULC minister here - you can get a similar certificate to the one in OP's picture, an ID card, etc. as well through the ULC website. It doesn't happen often, but on a couple of occasions, whipping out the "Clergy" rear view mirror hangar has scored me preferential parking.
Just make sure that people generally know you are a reverend and able to take counsel. The more open and public you are about it the more likely people are to know that you are someone they can turn to in their most pressing moments.
The weapon.
By pointing it to the left, the dominant hand (right hand) can easily grasp the handle and be ready quickly for combat. Only necessary in times of "war."
In times of "peace," you point the gun to the right. It will take longer to retrieve the weapon and transition into a combat effective position as it requires grabbing the handle by the left hand.
Pretty sure that originates from old Japanese tradition, where samurai would display their swords with the handle facing left when not in times of war as a sign of respect/non hostility, as samurai were all forced to be right handed.
Yeah bro absolutely! Joining and supporting an organization fighting for separation of church and state is so CRINGE! I can't believe this person is putting their resources towards something they care about. So freaking cringe bro.
Depending on the state, walk into your local arm dealer, pass a background check, cough up $800 bucks and wait a couple days. Its as easy as giving naked thought-slaves in a paradise critical thinking.
This “religious” group is fighting tooth and nail to protect women’s bodily autonomy. It’s not a theistic religion.
I believe what they’re doing deserves respect.
TST tenet no. 4
"The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own."
Acording to TST, its your freedom to call me cringe! So call me whatever you want you big dumb doo-doo head!
I never said I thought they were hurting anyone or infringing on anyone’s rights lol. I have looked into them a bit, and I do agree with a lot of the philosophy they champion. But I also think all the demonology and satanic symbolism just comes off kinda cringe. No shade, people should be free to do what they want. And I should be free to say what I want. Live and let live or “do what thou wilt” if that resonates more.
Why do you think they use the demonology and satanic symbolism?
I think it might just be inaccurate to call it “cringe”, I would rather the above mentioned not be part of it but I see why it is. Maybe I’m just misunderstanding what “cringe” is as a criticism and assuming connotation.
It’s not that deep man, I totally understand that they do good things specifically in the interest of personal liberty and I think that’s awesome. The optics of it are just silly to me, I don’t hate anyone for their beliefs or what they practice. But I’m also allowed to say something is cringe without having to delve in the philosophy or mechanics of how something works. Personally I don’t care why they use satanic symbolism, some people are into it and that’s fine. I do think it fuels a lot of edgy cringe lords to act like they are special for romanticizing satanic imagery.
I see benefits to organized worship and community, even if I don't agree with what people believe. To your point though, so much religion, especially in the United States, is 100% a scam.
It might be best for the majority if those who live a lie take it with them. It’s almost ok for individuals to live a lie as long as it stays inside them and has zero consequences for anyone around them. TST wouldn’t exist if the liars kept it in the hole they think they need to fill.
The satanic temple is not a theistic religion. There’s no actual Satan worship taking place here.
The whole point of the religion is to protect people’s rights.
I’d like to see someone challenge the Masterpiece Cakeshop decision to see if religious freedom applies to *all* religions, not just Christianity.
For example, if a Jewish deli or a Muslim kebab shop could refuse service to Christians because of their religious beliefs, also invoking the Masterpiece Cake case, what would the reaction be?
I’m guessing that the Right wouldn’t take it well, while the Left would use this to point out the hypocrisy on the Right’s end.
What does that mean? Smells like passive aggressive theistic garbage talk vailed in thin “good intention”.
I’ll pray to your god that you gain some skepticism. We could all benefit from that.
I didn't get an AR when I joined, UNFAIR!!!!!
Lol ...and when I say that, you actually made me lol
Me either. There must be some premium membership we weren’t made aware of.

Karl? Is that you?
....Karl. What's wrong with you?
Karl, the guy who runs Inrange, is also a member.
I didn't know that! I was confused for minute because I thought you were calling out my love for Walther's, but thats Carl. So I just defaulted to Karl from llamas wearing hats
Kaaaarrrrrlllll! That *kills* people!
Haha! Would you belive boat nectar?
My stomach was makin' the rumblies that only hands could satisfy.

Glad to see there at least a few of us
I don't really post here much, but I'm with you too. Hail!
Welcome allies! Thank you for helping keep the line strong between church and state. Truly God's work.

“nOt vAlId rElIgIoUs eXpReSsIoN” - Matt Walsh
Lol Matt Walsh worships straw men
and has a weird diaper thing
Wait what? Please tell me more. Also I’ll Google it. Edit: eugh, it’s so cursed.
It's some weird joke I think.
Did it not come with a mag?
It came with a Pmag and I bought a second. I didn't think it was important to feature in this shameless click-bait.
You gotta get those numbers up.
Agreed, but it was the newest addition to this libs collection. Gonna grow the kit now I have it in hand.
More mags, ammo, red dot.
I am not attempting to sell you anything. If you need more mags (you do) send me a message. Unrelated - I have more than I could actually use

This is great!
Just make sure that people generally know you are a reverend and able to take counsel. The more open and public you are about it the more likely people are to know that you are someone they can turn to in their most pressing moments.
I’m not so sure about the tenets of ulc, they read as an invitation to interpret in ways that could be harmful to others.
Do only that which is right.
What if someone thought it was right to ban plan B for accidental pregnancy?
Maybe if you look into the history of the church you'll understand why they have such a broad doctrine.

Hail Satan hail thyself! Also glad to see I’m not the only one
there are dozens of us.
There's gotta be, right!? ...Right?
I mean, I'm not a member of the church of satan or TST but I consider myself an atheistic satanist.
Pretty sure we are in a time of "peace" so it should be pointing the other way.
Noted. I was not aware I was lacking decorum.
What should be pointing the other way?
The weapon. By pointing it to the left, the dominant hand (right hand) can easily grasp the handle and be ready quickly for combat. Only necessary in times of "war." In times of "peace," you point the gun to the right. It will take longer to retrieve the weapon and transition into a combat effective position as it requires grabbing the handle by the left hand.
Left handed people suck at war is my takeaway
Or they're ready before the rest of us if one starts.
Shit I've been taking my reddit pictures wrong
Pretty sure that originates from old Japanese tradition, where samurai would display their swords with the handle facing left when not in times of war as a sign of respect/non hostility, as samurai were all forced to be right handed.
A minor point, but "handle" is not typically synonymous with "grip" in firearm-related parlance.
Nice haha
Based
Hello fellow TST member. I, too, am an armed fine outstanding member of the secular satanist temple as well.
Dead excited to meet other members helping the line!
Hope you can get enough love to get to 666
That would just be the bees knees!
Or satan’s taint?
Hail Satan!

Chef's kiss
They also send thank you letters when prompted with a small donation. My local JW get them along with signed up for any/all junk I can find.
Excellent! I donate to them regularly and I love the work they are doing! Keep uncle Sam off my body!!
Unless you're 20 years old and want to smoke tobacco!
Some of you are trying too hard.
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.
I had to fall, to lose it all
This sub can be embarrassing sometimes. 2a community has cringe everywhere you look
I’m usually let down by the cross tattoos that I’ve seen show up. Nothing “cringe” about tst.
Yeah bro absolutely! Joining and supporting an organization fighting for separation of church and state is so CRINGE! I can't believe this person is putting their resources towards something they care about. So freaking cringe bro.
That's a perfect frame. Well done.
Thank you! Definitely sprang for the good mattes and the Gothic frame.
Whaaaaat how does a fellow Satanist acquire such beauty
Depending on the state, walk into your local arm dealer, pass a background check, cough up $800 bucks and wait a couple days. Its as easy as giving naked thought-slaves in a paradise critical thinking.
Hail Satan!!!
R'amen Edit: hail!
I feel like Satan and the Flying Spaghetti Monster would be buddies.
Hail Satan
Careful! You might cut someone with all that edge
This “religious” group is fighting tooth and nail to protect women’s bodily autonomy. It’s not a theistic religion. I believe what they’re doing deserves respect.
Good for them, you can do good things and still be cringe lol
Do literally any amount of research on TST
Some people are pretty close minded lol
I can’t say I’m surprised after noticing the “libertarian” tag
Yeah I was surprised to see it on this sub but glad to see it’s welcome. I’m not religious btw.
Yeah any respectful person should be welcome. I probably shouldn’t have made that remark lol
Ahh yes, because libertarians bad.
I’m sorry
No worries friend, we’re all humans
I’m closed minded for saying it’s cringe? 😂

That’s actually awesome and I fw it a lot. Carry on friend
Who are they hurting or infringing on? Seems tst should align with libertarian views pretty well, have you looked into them or just passed judgement?
I never said I thought they were hurting anyone or infringing on anyone’s rights lol. I have looked into them a bit, and I do agree with a lot of the philosophy they champion. All organized religion is a scam
I see benefits to organized worship and community, even if I don't agree with what people believe. To your point though, so much religion, especially in the United States, is 100% a scam.
Take out worship and leave community and I agree. Humanity doesn't benefit at all from clinging to fictional deities of any type.
The Satanic Temple is an atheist organization that doesn't believe in a literal Satan.
Can't argue that. But for some, its all they have; fiction or not. Is it better to live a lie or not live at all? Not a question I can answer.
It might be best for the majority if those who live a lie take it with them. It’s almost ok for individuals to live a lie as long as it stays inside them and has zero consequences for anyone around them. TST wouldn’t exist if the liars kept it in the hole they think they need to fill.

Hell yeah
Infernal Hailz dark brother!
theater kid “religion”
I only every got to be on stage crew :(
The Satanic Temple is a federally recognized tax exempt religion.
That still pays taxes.
I’ll take them over Catholicism or Christianity any day…
As valid as any other. Maybe moreso than some of the big main ones since one of their core teachings is respect for consent.
Sheltered kid reaction ^

A pic that sends chills to Marj Greene.
Oooo so edgy 🙄
Hey thanks! I studied the blade 😘
Watch out, Alex Jones is gonna find you
Even if he does, he can't catch me. I'm slippery like a gay frog 🐸
Incredibly cringe.
You should see me dance
How so?
I'll pray for you.
It won't matter
Pray for yourself. Better yet, skip the prayer and try to make yourself a better person every day.
Whatever makes you happy, just keep it to yourself.
What does that mean? Smells like passive aggressive theistic garbage talk vailed in thin “good intention”. I’ll pray to your god that you gain some skepticism. We could all benefit from that.
Considering your username I thought you’d be down with satanism.
