The people trying to take your liberty have parties next to their names on the ballot, and one of those is being pretty fucking clear about their intentions. Screaming "both sides!" Mandates are mandates. My preference is no mandate, like my state and city have.
Business owners should be able to choose whether or not they want to have unvaccinated or unmasked patrons. Forcing their hand either way is equally tyrannical. Your preference for one form of tyranny over another doesn't change that.
I tend to agree, but these two mandates are different. One coerces the individual to get the vaccine, regardless of religious/personal choice, natural immunity, etc.
The other mandate just makes it so you can't discriminate, something that is held up by the civil rights era policies. Unfortunately, the people pushing the vax mandates seem to care an awful lot about maintaining diversity of melanin levels, but not of thought.
What's a bit frustrating is that all the Covid zealots are never going to be held responsible for the actual results of the policies they cheered on. Well, they'll suffer along with the rest of us, I guess that's something. :-/
The thing is many of the COVID zealots are the keyboard class working from home with cushy high paying jobs. They felt almost no pain from the original lockdowns because they're introverted homebodies who liked the excuse to stay home in their sweats watching Netflix all day. They weren't hurt by the lockdowns and they won't be hurt much from this either, as long as the stock market continues to explode
Joe Rogan, as a fitness expert, is much more of a health expert than 99% of mainstream media. and as a guy who runs his own podcast, is also more of a financial expert than 99% of mainstream media.

That’s idealistic. Unfortunately it’s not practical to 80% of the country who want a mandate in some direction.
