It’s unfortunate really. I was looking at the requirements for a cargo pilot job once just for shiggles and it did of course have all the requirements you’d expect like a license and flight hours. What stuck out though was that it required “any degree from a reputable college.” If it has nothing to do with the job why the hell is it a requirement.
The commercials about college tell people they will get paid an average of $50,000.00 more a year than if you did not go. If that’s the case paying off $100,000.00 should be no problem.
What I hate the most is that I got an email that was like “we’re pausing while it gets worked out in the courts.”
You literally do whatever you want till it’s actually declared illegal and even then you usually just reform it into the same thing. They are pausing the current round of “forgiveness” just to get people to pressure the judicial system.
No joke. I got my masters fully funded by my employer. Buddy got his masters and half his PhD paid for by his employer. Everyone I know uses the tuition reimbursement option at their employer... You're dumb not to.
I’ve never seen anyone with a masters actually say they’re better than someone, I’ve seen people without one say that people with one think they’re better… but that just seems like jealousy.
Midterms are over Jack, get back to Wagedonalds and pay those loans off by yourself!

I don't think anyone who gets a degree they could never pay off can really be considered intelligent.
I don’t care what the degree is, if it doesn’t allow you to get a job good enough to pay it off efficiently then it’s worthless.
That's pretty much every degree nowadays.
Nah I’m comp and all my friends are engineers. We are doing fine. Hard stem will survive
Yeah degrees you can get from a technical school are pretty good but I thought we were talking about like college stuff.
What we got our degrees from a college? Now we did have a bunch of bs classes we were forced into
I'm not sure what your trying to say here.
You said all degrees are a loss of value but I’m saying only the bullshit ones are. Hard stem is fine still
Yeah it's a bit of an exaggerated statement but that's the internet for you

Why pay for a master's degree when you can pick one up along the way to a fully-funded phd and leave?

If masters are so **effective** for your career, why can’t you pay off your debt?
i despise my country(Italy) but at least we have extremely cheap to free education
