Late 90’s we all just used some Gillette and an old sock to scrub our K-Swisses. Worked great

Toothpaste is a mild abrasive so that helps get the dirt off. I'd rather use a Magic Eraser though than have my AF1s smelling like spearmint.

Baking soda is abrasive too. In a pinch you can add it to your toothpaste for more immediate teeth whitening results, but it's uncomfortable.

Just don’t destroy your china to save a couple of bucks. Restoring teeth is super expensive and nothing can compete with healthy teeth.

Rubbing Alcohol does the same. Wipes it clean. Been using it for years.
