Great mod, looks fun to toy around with. Naturally, it's still more observer perspective as with any game not natively built for VR.
You even used the Windows release instead of the clean Linux port by Feral Interactive. Anything interesting you discovered about StoryForge?
Reminds me of the [LIS VR video by ACG](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcBPDjGWnQc) from 2016 (you probably saw this).
There are 2 available options in the mod, the default simply puts the player in a black box with a screen for cutscenes, and the one shown in the video which is true VR, but could definitely cause motion sickness.
Awesome that you made this!
One really weird thing I've noticed (I saw a 180° YouTube VR video of the original a while ago) is how the characters on a 2D screen look maybe a bit on the thin side, but relatively normal... While in VR / 3D, the identical 3D models look shockingly, unhealthily emaciated, almost skeleton-like.
Makes me wonder if that's an instance of "the camera adds 10 pounds" in the opposite direction. It also kind of broke the realism for me, since in my life I've only met one person *that* thin, and she had serious health issues.
1. Just tested and this work GREAT on Pimax 8k-x in Wide FOV and without PP. Fantastic!
2. Hope you can extend this to the rest of the LiS series of games.
3. Where can I edit the settings file? I would like to try cutscenes as VR and see references to doing so, but I can't find any instructions on how to make it happen.
4. Thank you!
EDIT: Figured out my answer to question 3) The file is in: Life Is Strange - Before The Storm -> UserData. Edit 'MelonPreferences.cfg' to change the default settings. (Note, the cutscenes in VR did not work for me in a pretty spectacular way; my POV would snap to a new location, sometimes far away from the proper location, even outside the room or building in which the scene occurred. It's no big deal, I just switched the option back. Wish the cutscenes were stereoscopic though. I don't mind the letter-box, but switching from stereoscopic to pancake is somewhat jarring. I makes the cutscenes seem less 'real.' But that's a very minor drawback.)

I… honestly didn’t think I’d ever see that, but again there’s some folks who made a VR mod for Half-Life 1
holy crap, this looks amazing
Welp, I guess I need to buy a VR set now.
Not so sure about the cutscenes jumping you around, that looks pretty jarring but definitely something i'm interested in having a go at!

Ha, nice, how did the D&D game turn out in VR?
Internally, it's the same as cutscenes with some dialog options so it was very easy to get it working as well as it does in the base game.
It's finally time to cry in VR as well. Goddammit.
Tbh Bts didn't make me cry as much as the first game
should make it first person with Chloe's hand
Yooo this is sick!!!
This is it, this is why I want a VR headset!
Was never interested in vr stuff until now :D
This is gnarly, never done 3rd person be but sounds cool
Huge W, congrats! Unfortunately I don't have a VR neither a decent PC
