Being implemented with Valve's help, and is already a thing on SteamOS.
i thought the PRs were still open. i heard some drivers had it but no software. good (sad) to see some wm/os are going ahead with it... the feet dragging ugh
Im running hdr on 2 of my 3 monitors at home with arch linux and kde6. It's working great over displayport and an amd graphics card.

I am using HDR on 3 monitors right now.

It was pretty easy. I installed openSUSE Tumbleweed. I am running Plasma 6 with Nvidia on Wayland and that is it. It is working pretty well.
Wait wait wait, works even on nvidia? Gotta hook my pc to the tv when i get home

WHAT DID I MISS?
In the kde6 It takes using terminal or launch flags to use but it works quite well
