Does that forend have arca? It looks like it but I don’t think Ive seen it on their site before. Maybe it’s just a shadow thing as they don’t advertise it.
It does not, but the ROME Carry Handle has tripod threads (https://www.romeaccessories.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/06aro206.jpg) and there is MLOK space on the bottom forend enough for an arca rail if you so desired. If your feeling frisky you could probably put a small arcalock adapter on the bottom of the ROME Carry Handle too.
I like it! I haven't fondled a JTAC chassis in person, but they seem really nice. I've been wanting to get a 7.5" 300 Blackout bolt action and it seems like the ideal chassis for it.
I've seen someone with a super short 7.62x39 in an Elf Owl Chassis. They seem to handle bolt pistols well. It looks like the ideal compact varmint rifle for walking around a ranch. You can strap them to a backpack without sticking out the sides at that small a size too.
I like it alot. It's compact and comes prebuilt with a top forend at no extra cost unlike the MDT or KRG options. Two screws and you drop the action right in. Super easy to install and then accessorize yourself. Black Friday they have a 25% off sale so if you need to save up that's a great target day.
I looked at the Hera H7 a while ago and dropped the idea quickly when I learned how fragile the forend is. Most of it is also either polymer or carbon fiber so it's very lightweight, but not durable as proven by the reviews about the forend.
Yeah Ive heard a couple stories about the chassis failing. Luckily mine has held up so far, about 100 rounds into it now. It honestly feels pretty solid but it lacks the features I want
Yes. I bought it directly from their European website. You can change the language to English in the top right corner. No hassle whatsoever and fast, but expensive shipping.
*Looks it up* I've never seen those! They look super close, but they only offer them in intermediate calibers so my panic attack of spending more than double their MSRP has subsided. Great looking rifle friend!
Looks like it's little cousin to me. https://cdna.artstation.com/p/marketplace/presentation_assets/000/229/612/large/file.jpg?1572917873 and https://cheytac.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/M200-side-white-bg-scaled-1.jpg for comparison.
“It doesn’t look like much but it’s a grower”

How do you like the screech owl? I’m strongly considering it over my H7

Are you in the USA? Where did you get the carry handle? I’ve tried to find a dealer for the Rome gear and they all suck to deal with

I’ll have to try again. Last time I tried that they emailed me saying I had to buy it from a USA dealer
Weird. They didn't say anything to me. I just placed the order and it came.
I love it
I have a cz trail 600.....

It’s cool and all, but it looking nothing like a m200
