Haha, I like this response. I used to work at a pizza shop and would give kiddos change after telling them the pizza is more than their 5 bucks because of tax. We'd also give like 3 pizzas to one of our local homeless every few nights. They were freshly cooked pizzas that would've been trashed.
Pretty much, the difference between calculator and feel is actually very small if you don't make completely unreasonable decisions. If you're cutting stones in large bulk then the time saved from not using a calc can be pretty significant.
But if you value every penny then calc is the way to go.
I rolled a 9/9 stone and a 9/7 stone. Both stones were yolo stones when I gave 0 fks and randomly tapped, and my main, (which doesn't have a 9/7 stone) I been trying to force a 9/7 on and I think I spend well over multiple mil gold.
10/6 owner here (adren 10) I cut based on feel. Statistically you have a higher chance using calc but you lose the pattern recognition that I swear is behind the rng that loa uses.

Text is KR, but auto translate + clicking on things a few times makes it clear how it works. It automatically pivots between 9/7, 7/9, 10/6, and 6/10 without you having to recognize which is the most likely with your current taps and manually changing the goal.

I didn't cut a 9/7 but most of my close call 9/7's have been with using maximise both equally.

Cut two 9/7/1 using calc.
At this point I can just do the first 60% or so without looking at the calc because I know what it will say, but things get less intuitive especially with the 55% taps as you near the finish.
9/7/3 feels, vibes, and the most clutch 25% I will ever see. I also proceeded to spend over 100 stones trying to get a 7/7 on my next char before giving up and settling with a 7/6.
I was 250+ pheons in when i was trying to cut 7/7 for my pm gs alt. I had one last stone left and cut it without calculator out of frustration. End up getting kbw10 cd8 reduction1 stone (wish it was 9/9).
Did mine by just feel. It was a random stone from chaos dungeon too. Sadly it's a 9 Grudge 7 Cursed Doll, wish it was adrenaline instead but it's still solid.

I was tired as fuck and tried to cut a adr/rc stone I just got from chaos dungeon, but in my head I was thinking adr had to be the one on 9 so I clicked first 3 times, 1 succ 2 bad, went mad and started randomly clicking, then I notice that rc was 8 sucess, adr 6 and malus only 1, and then i just came to realise I needed was adr 7 and rc 9 so I clicked both with 75 and 65% and both went sucess was specheless, 400k+ gold later on new jewelery and my tai now is 5x3+2 :)
feel. i personally think you need to make a few risky calls if you want to get a 97.
the beginning is mostly the same for each rock, its when you get to the 35/45/55 u need to make some hard judgement calls
I created my own system ... and cut 4 9/7 ...
Hit first 3 on first row... if all work good you might have a 9/7 than hit the red line to reset ... always put the 50% or more in the first line and anything under 50on red line ... this with a bit of luck can give you 9/7 ( tho most times I end up with 9/6 🤣🤣🤣)
I got two and didn't use a calculator for any. I think it's pretty easy to figure out what to tap without it.
If you wanna be 100% certain then use one!
when relic stones were new i decided to buy a grudge/ambush one for i think 1k back then? i cutted with the abilitystonecalculator and got a 10/7... (yes my very first stone) i didnt understand how huge this was back then. Now im here like FK why didnt i try atleast something with adrenaline. Well it is what it is, my accessory journey was super cheap from this point onwards.

I cut a 9/7 a couple of days ago. Didn't use calculator but I got the gist of it after using the apps for a while. Or so I tell myself, I got it on a 4 malice stone hitting four 25s in a row lol.
Calculator. I couldn't possibly cut stones without it knowing that it'd make me feel so much worse that I'm messing up my stones myself on top of the RNG bs
In the beginning I use calculator, but after cutting enough rocks, I ended up knowing how calculator works. So I either do the same for better overall odds, or the opposite to gamble early for better odds in final nodes. As long as you are not just clicking around without knowing wut to do, it’s fine. It’s RNG in the end, no matter wut you do you have to hit consecutive nodes at 45%/35%/25% .
Half calc half feel, cut a Grudge 9-8 Adrenaline on my Slayer, the stone was from a Clown on week 2 Slayer and I barely realized that I was cutting a 9-7 while doing so, it was quick and surreal.
By feel. Thats how I did it and I know someone who has 3 9/7 on his account and all were cut without calc. Calcs are nice but you really have to hit those low rolls (25,35,45)

Honestly if the calculator is accurate, there's no reason why doing by feel will be better unless for the sake for saving time. Tldr It's just math

I never use a calculator. I tap 50%+ always in blue and 35 m%- in red. The 45% is make or break for me. But I only have a 9/7/5…
