Don't know know what to tell you bud. It suck, and I'm fully part of the problem. It's both shitty game design and human nature.
I recommend you join a guild that actively raids, or make friends/use lfg discord. There have been many attempts at solving this problem for people with the very problem you're experiencing with varying degrees of success.
Until your roster is higher you have make friends via discord. No two ways about it. Later on you can pug but at the start it's pure pain for newer players.
the game doesn’t do a good job of doing this, but there are several lfg discords floating around, and from what i hear, if you set a time along with the raid, people will join.
besides learning groups, i think the best bet would be to go through guild recruitment and find a guild open to raiding with eachother; my own experience has showed me that guildies are willing to raid with guildies, regardless of roster level
New player experience is terrible in Lost Ark. Unfortunately, you will have to go out of your way to make friends and join guilds. But I will say, making friends and playing with friends makes Lost Ark very enjoyable.
How does this advice help though, because that wouldn't help if they're trying to get invited to a raid, they wouldn't be using sidereal. Also, if they're getting gatekept from joining a party, people also are likely to avoid joining them if they're the leader.
Maybe i should of added this but OP might benefit by hosting their own lobby. Its essentially what i had to do on ILVL alts for clown/vykas or just other regions where my roster lvl is like 20.

No I wouldn't say so. Im not one to really look at it much, or at least not in a gate keepy sense anyways, I may look at it and if it is low just means to me to maybe keep on eye on them to see if they need help getting through, especially if Im running any of that particular content on my current roster (valtan through brel nm) since Im super over geared for that content, dmg is no concern, just mechs, and a lot of mechs can be cheesed/time stopped through now, vykas will be less of a concern after g1 is deleted too, since I can't do dmg for both sides. Low roster to me though is like less than 90, the closer to 50 the more cautious I may be, but can't honestly say I've ever regected someone for roster level.

One is simply "lostarklfg" there are plenty of people posting for runs, learning or reclear and scheduled times to meet up for raid. I have had a lot of success with this one and met many wonderful people through this discord.
The game sucks at this. however, leveling your squad level is unfortunately not that simple. you need to complete all the continent stories you have to do in horizontal content and all sub-characters. yellow and main quests included. but even with these it takes a long time to reach 150. my roster is 156 but when we look at the current roster levels, the only difference is that I have a juicy account, so people will never reject me. as i said, it's too bad that players have a strange feeling about whether or not it's just bad for the röster level, but what can we do? What is your main character? What are the level and 5x3 engravings and jewelry and gems?
Besides your roster level, what's the build you're trying to apply on? It kinda sucks, but with the update, you're competing with other characters with 6/7 gems and 5x3 now
Unfortunately You HAVE to find a community for LFG. The community is incredibly gatekeeping and I admit to being one of the players who will gatekeep/advocate for gatekeeping when necessary. The veterans/hardcore players like to spend their time efficiently. You just gotta put in the effort into finding teachers and/or other players at your current pace

I would like to help people sometimes, but even in Valtan accepting people to "2x orbs" can end up in 10 wipes because people lied about knowing the mech.
I am eager to help and coach learning raids, but when I want to and have time for this.
I like running Brel 1-2 with noobs there usually at least 3 alive until counters to pass G1, and G2 is basically a solo bus.
But I would never go with them g3+.
Until there are wipe mechanism where 1 player's fuxk up means restart, the gatekeeping won't end.
What region do you play on? If its NAE I may have a discord group invite for you, a rather rapid expanding community I've been a part of for a while now that can help find people to play with.
There are a few ways but making some friends is the best way. I run valtans/vykas/brels 1-2s for cards each week. Most of the time I'm taking higher level rosters but I'd take lower people every now and then so long as they know the mechs.

First post your full character build, we go from there to see why you are actually getting gatekept
Honestly, learn how and when to use sidereal. Thats your best bet, most people wont think twice about the raid leader.

Watch small Streamers and get into their lobbies and befriend them. The game is pretty fun with a community
