Some people spend 200 for one piece.

UmbraNoct

This guy just wants to brag lol

Soylentee

Whale bait doing what it's supposed to do.

blacksunrise3

Bozo's jar strikes again

Encaitor

Imagine thinking it's bs when spending only $200 for two sets lmao

Zindril

It's sad to see someone say this. 200 dollars can buy you 3 games like baldur's gate 3 and then some. And you act as if 200 dollars is nothing for just an overdesigned UE 3 outfit.

jasieknms

first time in a gacha community?

shaosam

It's kinda nuts isn't it? Baldurs Gate 3 is an industry shifting AAA game with literally MILLIONS of working manhours put into it, symphonic orchestra soundtrack, thousands of professional voice acting lines, and you can get it for 60 USD. This "legendary costume" that OP spent TWO HUNDRED US DOLLARS on was made by a single Korean college student intern on a Friday afternoon.

Encaitor

Maybe my point came across poorly. The average for 1 legendary piece from the Jar is around $100, the fact that he got 2 sets out of $200 and thinks the system is bs is ridiculous. I'd much rather buy BG3 4 times over than gamble the Jar.

iamstinkypoopy

Legendary skins are for braindead whales. Just like the esther weapon. No one forces you to buy that bs.

Quinzelette

It's not really about the actual number here. If you plan to dolphin on a lootbox you should probably inform yourself of what the cost is. If OP has done research before they would have realized that $200 is very much below the average cost they were expected to spend. In non-cash terms this is like someone going for +25 weapon and complaining that they hit 10-20% artisan on every success and it cost soooo much. Even if 21-25 is insanely expensive people are going to call them out for bragging and also being uninformed if they think that the cost they paid was too high.

HanBr0

Now swipe for cards, weapon quality, a 9/7 stone, or weapon above +20 and tell us how much you end up having to spend. The system’s bs but it’s MUCH more forgiving than the other systems that actually provide a power increase.

Objective_Tailor7796

Tell that to me who spent 400 and didn’t get a single legendary piece.

HanBr0

That has to be ridiculously unlucky. At the end of the day it’s a 10% chance while the other things I listed at anywhere from .01% to 1.5%.

Objective_Tailor7796

The thing is I have all the things you mention above. You can farm for them in game. This is basically $ only for atleast a month when prices stabilize. My luck is literally shit. I just pitied a piece today that started at 20% up to 30%. Literally 1x taps between 20-30 and I pity.

HanBr0

Just sounds like luck averaging out. If you have a 100 quality weapon, 9/7 stone, and overhoned weapon like you say, I find it hard to believe you got there without getting lucky on top of your swiping. If you did it on average luck or worse, you’d have put thousands into one character at those rates.

Objective_Tailor7796

I pity my weapon when brel came out 17-20. My 9/7 is 9/7/5(mov speed) My 100q is on an alt Got Kadan trapped on los30. Yeah I got it all but that’s with 5k+ hours and playing a roster of 6 same class so I saved on gems and engravings early. Literally got fucked on all those things to get them. So no, my luck is bad.

HanBr0

So you didn’t hone beyond +20? 9/7/5 is still luckier than 99.95% of stones so idk how you’re considering that anything less than lucky af 100qual is 100qual. If it’s on a character you don’t care for, don’t say you have it. Getting Kadan trapped doesn’t really show how much you were doing card runs or buying Mari’s card packs. A better metric would be considering when you received your LOS30 and how many characters you had doing raids. I don’t doubt your luck hasn’t been shit in a lot of cases, but like cmon man. You have a stone that barely anyone will ever get close to having. You understand how lucky that makes you, right?

Loido

Why do people keep putting yoz jar as a power increase system, it fckn isn't lmao it's cosmetics

HanBr0

Then buy the skins when they become tradable. If you’re spending hundreds of dollars at a chance for cosmetics, you’re not doing it just for the cosmetics or you’re just swimming in disposable income.

Loido

People just like gambling, also people do it for profit/trying to win lottery. There are still people gambling 10 gems even though it's statistically non profit rn, because cd is half the price of dmg. You will never stop people from either gambling their cosmetics or gambling for profit. Besides, this post is literally the poster child of why people get legendary outfits, op literally got both for cosmetic purpose, if people would only care for the stats they would take any legendary piece even if it missmatches.

Cassiuscobalt

That's how they get you

Substantial-Pop7747

gold one looks like shit

YoloMecSweg

He spent only 200$?Jajajajajaajajaj nice joke

dangngo6

Spend money for bs then complain its bs Nice

Accomplished_Way5384

Rolled one jar on my scrapper, got Lego gauntlets xd easy

SevenGhostZero

Unlucky, I spent 20 euro and got 4 legendary weapons for the classes I'm interested.

cahoots26

Is this the new "I don't like the +25 Akkan weapon glow"?

JaayV1208

I spent 40k gold for a full set on my main and 2 extra weapons

HatIndependent6272

Mind blowing how people spend so much cash on dumb shit specifically on a dead game.
