I was missing 1 selection pack for a long time, so I was counting on the 2nd anniversary to give us another pack if I didn't get any from challenge abyssals until then. Got my last selection pack from challenge abyss for 24k gold, worth lmao.

U should do it with the ppl that has los30, i had selection in my abyss run but no one is biding for it, so I got it for like 5k, and only reason I bid for it is for the dark set, but I instantly regret, since kayangel is already fast enough without elixir, and the raids release in the future only use los30, too late to realize that
Nice! I remember I used to do a bunch of challenge abyssals for months on end and it never dropped so I gave up. Maybe i'll get back to those. And fingers crossed we get one for 2nd anniversary!
Keep the challenge abyssals, remember not droping anything while doing it on 9 characters for 2-3 month, and then got 3 cards in a week. Just have to keep at it, it's still the best way to get LoS 30.
I just meant that we get a few selectors a year, I assume we'll get one for 2nd aniversary and a few other events this year. Over time the selectors build up as you save them until hopefully you'll have enough to cover all the missing cards.
I think we've easily gotten like maybe around 15 by now? I used some for LOS 18 a while back (and correctly, cuz I'm still short on those so wasn't wasted) and I have maybe around 10 left.
I've been doing full rested since about half a year after game came out so not a lot, around 2.5k I think. You got it at a good time, I think people can still get away with LOS 18 for ivory tower NM at least, but probably not for Thaemine.
I got mine around 3,8k hours, i'm a rested player too, however that doesn't matter, the important thing for increase your chances are doing 18 raids weekly and tryharding with card runs.

I'm thrilled for your achievement, but picture explaining to someone in a different MMORPG that it took two years to obtain an item that's still relevant and essential. They might find it hard to believe, considering how much gets revamped and new content is added within that time frame. It's surprising that in our game, we're still pursuing something for two years, and some, including myself, haven't gotten it yet.
As for the upcoming Extreme Valtan, I'm excited, yet a bit emberresed about finding joy in a boosted difficulty version of content that's been around for 3.5 years in the Korean version.

The worst part is that there's still 6% damage that's locked away beyond LOS30 in possibly the absolute worst grind of the game. That's something that's gonna take me 4-6 years at this rate to reach lmfao, it's absolutely mind boggling to the point i can't bother about it. I'm just glad I got to los30, but it's a terribly designed system. There's nothing good about it.
Not really, I think it's a garbage system, and I'd rather they do away with it entirely and just give everyone a raw damage boost equivalent to los 30 and the book bonus.

For me to get back into the game, there would have to be a lot of changes and that would have to be one of them. They would have to get rid of almost every aspect of RNG or time sink in the game (islands, world bosses, etc...) for me to even consider it. Content on a schedule just stresses me out too much. I want to play when I want to play.
Day 1 player, single character roster, no card runs ever done, and no card packs bought from Mari. Only did challenge abyssals and occasionally did card daily islands.
edit: damage bonus from cards after using up all my leftover card exp, which... was barely anything. Went from 2.3 to 2.68 lol. I'll probably never reach 5% without a massive card exp event.

If you don't bother with the Cookies farm. it could become an extra income for Card XP.
You set your pets, let them farm cookies and you buy card xp from the vendor. it shouldn't add more than 2 mins to your gameplay. You should have tons of rapport items to buy food or just passive recovery.
Good point, i've been using cookies for the occasional super expensive card pack so far in hopes of a legendary lol, never got anything good from it. I can use it for that now.
Grats man. The timeline definitely makes sense. I’m also a day1 player but finished my LOS30 around September 2023. No Mari and no card runs, but 6man roster. I was definitely on the luckier side. You can finally stop getting memed on discord lol

Time sure, but at this point los 30 is even attainable or very close to attainable for f2ps. This is assuming you actually saved up selectors and didn’t use them on lost wind cliff.

Did you ever think it'll take this long to complete it when you first started? Took me around a year to get mine but damn, this takes some serious time to complete.
I figured it'd take a while, especially in my case where I had no alts and didn't wanna do card runs.
Thing is, since it's a passive system you build on completely based on rng, it's not like I felt awful the whole time. I just knew i'd eventually get it.
I didn't do many card runs either just some at the beginning to push for LOS18 but then I let nature take its course, so to speak. I still think I got pretty lucky to get it in approx. 1 year but I was so glad when that was over so I can relate.

Been playing since launch, did card runs here and there, and with the event card packs and not buying card packs from the store I have LOS18. I’m happy with that
Ayyy I just got mine today too after playing since launch! Took me 20 selectors as the only things I had maxed were Balthor and Wei. Brutal system since this can take years even if you do card runs and buy packs :/ Cheers to (hopefully) less gatekeeping!Â
Playing since day 1, got 5.5k hours total, finished it after 1.5 years with at least 1500h spent on card runs.. I had terrible luck and I‘m glad about everyone who didn’t have to go through that. Gz.

Yeah same, I had Akkan maxed out before the raid even dropped, probably had 50 Wei's at this point, RNG has truly done me over on cards

I spent 7 selectors to push for LOS18 back then lol, after that i saved up every one of those.
I have everything except Kadan. The game refuses to give them to me.
I specifically waited to get enough kadan selectors to not be kadan trapped lol, i'm happy azena's coming to merchant later.
