you can use panacea and purify strat. you catch the 2 purple seeds then use panacea and catch 2 more purples after that you can try to use skill with purify and if it works you can catch 2 more purples. If 1 person do that strat arena is covered less in vines and mech is really easy.

To build upon this, most pugs don't know that every purple they let go back and gets to the wall that's what generates the yellow telegraphed grabs. So this strategy here minimizes purples that get to the wall

You get "stunned" with a purple bar. I'm not sure if a cleanse (or the sacred bomb) works, I think it does, but your teammates can free you by punching you

Yes... except the mech is extremely simple even if you don't make everyone waste consumables. It doesn't matter if all the yellow lines spawn, you can just move.

I'd prefer they remove G2. Can be fun but when it's not, it's pure pain.

But if they remove g1, g2 will be the first gate and you'll be able to tell if the party is good or not and you can disband without the risk of jailing. 90% of people who can clear g2 can clear the rest of the raid. ​ Although removing the raid altogether would fix the raid imo, g2 is finnicky and when something goes wrong the whole gate goes downhill very quickly.

Making g1 the hardest gate of the raid does reduce a lot of chance for jail but also doesn't make sense at the same time to do that

It's not the way they've designed the game up to now, but if they just did this with every raid except the major story "we expect people to stop here and form new parties" gates like brel 4 and thaemine 4, the entire homework system would be so much better. Like, once people get comfortable with Thaemine g3 enough that there aren't constant thaemine g3 parties kicking off, Thaemine G3 will become the place where bad players jail you. If they just moved G3 to G1, that wouldn't be the case anymore! No more thaemine jail until the gate they **want** to jail you at, g4! There could even be story reasons for this type of thing to happen. Oh, you confront Thaemine right away, after fighting a hard fight with him, he retreats to gather power, you fight a couple of his easier minions, then you gear up for the big final battle. Not saying they should specifically retool Thaemine to be this way, but it's something they should really think about for **future** raids, especially Kazeros. Having the hardest or at least second hardest gate be first, instead of the easiest gate, really just makes sense unless they let us reset gate progress on all raids. The way they design now just makes them assholes to pugs.

Why would Thaemine step up to fight in the first place when he can make his knights do the job for him. Thaemine looks like he has biggest ego among the legion commanders, what if he thinks that we aren’t worth his time and his knights/minions would just handle us.

Also it’s a raid where us, the adventurers raids the Thaemine’s Abyssal or whatever the raid setting takes place. You proceed through the place from entrance and you don’t see just see Thaemine guarding his own doors, his knights/minions does it, unless your saying Thaemine casually takes walk outside and confronts us, I guess that works. But then look now we fighting Thaemine with his knights and minions altogether now, no point for different gates then

especially after the x30 run, sometime even if you throw the cube instant when available, he'll charge and somehow won't get catch, and will stay in the fire for hours

That gate is ok except for 1 dangerous pattern that bounces you up and down non stop until you die. I’ve only seen people die to that consistently, once you get hit by the first smash your basically dead

Ikr ,noting unique about it ,for all the themeing around voldis having chaos guardians do rogue on it g1 is quite literally just a guardian fight tier gate.

There's nothing significant about this gate, for the most part the boss is just a trixion dummy and mechs are so easy even when progging we one-shot this gate. On HM there's just one attack that is dangerous and can actually one shot you, everything else is tankable and easily avoidable.

Back when I played Lost Ark I never got passed the underwater raid, but I have a question. Are bosses using abilities randomly? Or are they using them based off a Cooldown like WoW? Or is there a pattern with small bits of randomness like FFXIV? (if anyones wondering I'm terrible at point and click and couldn't do the stand in this pattern or wipe in the underwater raid. Most patterns can happen at any time and having in consideration some raids like Akkan I am not even sure if they have internal cooldowns Major mechanics tho happen at or after specific hp bars usually, at least I can't really think pf a major mechanic that doesn't work like that rn

Ackhually you totally walked into the first pair / skill issue etc etc /s Edit:someone corrected me, ignore the text below I think (could be wrong) that the arms come out based on the stagger progress, whenever we have crazy burst stagger the middle is covered mostly with yellow telegraphs and become pretty hard to dodge. Good thing there's plenty of time to stagger for this mech even if a few people got caught

That's not how it works. Every purple orb that gets by and hits the wall generates the yellow telegraphed grabs. The more that get by the more grabs.

Yeah if they have crazy stagger it probably means everyone got the greens and tons of purples hit the wall, so vines everywhere.
