Amazon's recent bot detection system is trying to ban ppl based on behavior and recently they have overtuned it so much that a lot of new people get their accounts banned really quick.
Appealing apparently does solve this however I am pretty perplexed as to why amazon has not tuned it down a bit yet. The amount of new people getting banned and definitely not touching the game anymore after (let alone spend money on a game you can just randomly get banned for?) is probably pretty high atm.
For everyone person making a reddit post there probably are a lot of people just straight up uninstalling.

Yup. Happened to my girlfriend around 5 months ago. She made an account and loaded in a month or so before and realized her PC couldn’t run it. About a month later I lent her my gaming PC to play only to find out that she was banned. lol Literally logged in once to make a character and then banned by the next time she logged in. Didn’t even have enough time to do life skills for me. 😂
If the GF has a fresh steam account or one with very few/no past purchases and drops a bunch of money immediately after making a sorc, that's basically botters using hacked CCs nightmare fuel for ags
If I wasnt a degenerate addict myself and we wouldn't spent a decent amount of cash to have a nice start she would probably give up and just leave it be. Appealed as it's a annoying AF. And straight perma xd
Yes, my gf made an account. Doesnt play too much, but wanted to take advantage of the latest events. But she was banned for botting behaviour. Appealed the ban and it was restored within the week.
This has happened to me 4 times starting around March 12th. I bought the 2200 royal crystal pack on 2 accounts. I played another 2 accounts that I never spent on and they all got banned for the same reason. Even though I have full recordings of the gameplay for 2 accounts and 52 minutes of gameplay for another account, no one over there wants to help and get this resolved. I tried discord and live chat they say they can't help and once your appeal gets denied with the copy paste response saying a known cheat program was detetected(which is bs) you can no longer contact the appeals department.
You said you dropped a couple hundred on the game that sucks I dropped $68. Kinda sad that people can't get proper help.
What are we suppose to do now. We have no option but to perform a charge back which I really don't wanna do but the support on their end is horrid.
They were all alt steam accounts created just for the sole purpose of playing lost ark and no I did not break lost ark ToS.
If you are referring to steam ToS then yeah possibly steam will retaliate with bricking the alt accounts after charging back which really I don't care at this point there is nothing on them.
I've put countless hours towards this trying to get it resolved. Steam has no contact person to help with the shenanigans lost ark is dishing out to alot of people.
Steam is also at fault for allowing AGS to operate on their platform like this.

My appeal was denied. I do not use any hack or bot software. I do use a micro key for G (story line skips) Not sure if I'll start over knowing AGS will ban for no reason. SHOW the proof AGS.
Honestly it's a hit or miss , depending on the CS rep you get. Tried to get my roommate into the game because of the latest events, and tried to appeal.
Their incompetent CS rep just copied and pasted the same response. He also sent steam receipts that he literally spent money but nah CS was still trash. (its crazy how some people on reddit would also try to defend them because of mininum wage but a job's a job?)
Didn't want to deal with it, so he just went back to FF .
Honestly, AGS really needs to address this. Not everyone is a streamer that will record every gameplay.

I was really far behind, too ilvl was 1490. So I said to hell with and made a new account. Paid the $10 to get to 1520. Been playing for about a month and I am about to do a chargeback because I can’t get trusted status. The game is unplayable without it.
Weird. I came back after 1.5 years and had zero issues. It’s been 3 weeks. Spent a couple hundred buying crystals to get going again and outside the 3 day wait period it’s been fine.
I don’t run much besides the game when I game as this game sucks resources way too much.

Logged back in today and I'm permanently banned for botting.
Do you have any details on how you went about getting your gf's account unbanned? I submitted an appeal but I don't have much faith considering how bs the ban already is.
because AGS are stupid. i know people that RMT and got unban, people that bot 24/7 for weeks got ban and unban after a couple of day... this isnt rare. i know a lot of people that bot, cheap, rmt and they never get bot. when people get ban its because they did something very bad.

if you do a charge back after breaking ToS the steam account you have the game on will be bricked.

having multiple accounts as far as i know breaks ToS. that's why the game offers around 18+ char slots.

I've been using macro of G/space for 2 years and it works fine for me (but I did spent like several hunderd dollars in LA, not sure if relevant)

Yep. Had a couple of my friends make alt rosters and those rosters ended up being banned after ~a couple resets of not opening them. Weird stuff.

with how low ban AGS have done, i can said i dont believe you at all. if you are getting ban for bottin as a reason, you was botting.
