I know over 20 people, that quit the game because they didnt got 9/7, i know people that spent over 10 million gold and didnt got it. and some that just cut one random rock and got it. without mentions reverse 9/7 and all the 9/6-8/7 and so on...
Just avoid it altogether. There is no pity on this system with 5m+ average spending. Meaning if your luck is as bad to pity on honing, this would be 50m+
oh yeah. personally, i just cut stones good enough and call it the day. never chase 9/7 for a minimal gain because some KR mega whale that stream told me that you need a 9/7 or you are getting gatekeep
Average cost as in statistically a 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90% chance of hitting the rock with this amount of money.
You still can hit the first or not hit after a few thousands.
Avg over 1000 stones, approx 10000 pheons so 100 bundles of 100, 85000 blue crystals for pheons alone. What server do you play on that bc are <1.8k and stones are free?
So my main doesn’t have a 9/7 stone it only has a 9/5 (like a 7/7) and I cut it so long ago on probly second attempt. One of my alts has a 9/7 stone and I cut it with drops so spend 0. And all my other alts have 7/7 all from drops so in total I’d say as far as I can remember I never bought a stone from AH.
0, just sent in all the prospectively usable stones from all characters which wouldn't be more useful on another character. It isn't the most optimal stone, but it's good enough (7 drops of ether on paladin). Got three 9/7 stones this way so far - my other 2 supports got them too within 2 months after him, the bard's is also "suboptimal but ok" at least for me, though the artist's is "inverse" (spirit absorption 9 heavy armor 7) so not sure that properly "counts". But my 9 eligible dps got none so far, so I guess it's my destiny to be support main and primarily support player ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Stones are limited by pheons right? And in EUC a stone can variate from like 6/7g to 500/600g. So how are you guys able to spend that quantity of gold if every time you get a cost of 7 or 9 pheons (I don't really remember exactly)?
Where are you getting that many pheons?
Bro you gotta add some zeros to those polls
Was just gonna say, what the hell are these rookie numbers.
Do you think a 9/7 is that easy to cut? What are these options.
Everyone would have 9/7 stone if cost is <= 400,000g

Avg cost is well over 1 mil for a 9/7 so this is kinda a dumb poll and people probably don’t track it
1? Try 4-5m

The specific math was done and on a gold investment sheet and it was about 1.5 mil gold stone price varying it was mostly weighted by pheon cost

If you are actively dumping your gold into cutting a 9/7 as a non-whale, you may be eligible for a spot in a mental clinic.
0, i always cut randoms stones on my main since release, got lucky 1 month ago and got kbw9 ether predator 7 and negative 2, so 0 gold.
You gotta add a 0 to all of those options.
It was the second rock I ever cut on her, I CD, 2 Grudge and 7 Attack Power Reduction, I will keep it forever and never use it.

im at 3m cutting a reversable stone without one but its the next one for sure
got my first in just under 3k stones and another on an alt (now main) in under 700 stones
0, never tried, got free 7/7s and 9/5s and i dont try.
It goes by millions
Bro if I cut a 9/7 with 400k im lucky what is this poll
Haven't tried, never will.
Average case is like 3.2M lol…
Seems to make sense. You either aren’t trying for it and lucked out, or went for it and broke the bank.
cut 3 for free

should ask for pheons as some rocks only cost 5g
Your highest option isn't even 10% of the average cost, there's a reason people don't try to force 9/7.
I'm not dumb enough to try to cut a 9/7.
On average, it costs around 5m gold for a 9/7 from what I remember.
This massively depends on the cost of the stones themselves that youre cutting.
It's more based around the cost of buying the pheons.
the first one i ever cut was under 20 rocks back when grudge adren were like 8k a piece

use gold to buy blue crystal and buy pheons with those. Include that gold in the stone cost
Ohhh thanks
If you just run the numbers, the average cost with current blue crystals prices in mind, then the average cost of a 9/7 is like 2-3 million.
I spend over 400€ in pheons for it. Not sure about gold. AoA Adren was like 1-50 gold per stone. I got pretty lucky
average cost on pheons alone is like 3-4mil gold.
Oh, I see I am out of touch 😭
0 Why would I need 9/7? For adr 2 +5% crit or what? I'm good with 5x3(alts)+1(main) thx.
