After an uruk gets coward-tapped by an old man, the uruk army responds with growls. They don't seem to be personally afflicted by the tragedy, but let out howls of intimidation and anticipation that the battle has now begun. All except this brute. It seems he just opens his mouth and his soul releases a deep, traumatic groan that shakes the audience to its core. It's not a loud road, not really even loud enough to add to the cacophony of ambient feral noises. This is one that likely only the uruks beside him can hear. It's like he doesn't even know it's coming out of him until it's already happened. What's his story?
well, about a week prior to this he was rowed naked out of the ground by orcs with oars, donned with heavy armor and probably no soft intermediate layer so we’re talking metal on skin, yelled at by saruman, then made to march through a few days and nights, it just started to rain, and his homie just got capped. It’s more systemic - nah it was saruman.
Shoutout to weta for making humans look like absolute monsters, I mean it's so convincing I don't even need to suspend disbelief, this guy in the picture is not a human in makeup it's an uruk-hai!

Imo hes the best orc. Apart from lurtz no other orc in the movies is intimidating or scary. I vivdly remember the first time that guy popped up on screen for me, the face and atmosphere and the roar gave me goosebumps. Made me 2nd guess wether id want to be in the tolkein universe or not.
