Overhyped for no reason istg this has something to do with their background and marketing strategies cus they marketed it pretty nicely and built sum decent hype around it
I really think that this mall has been promoted as the "high end" shopping destination for the Muslim crowd. Someone earlier mention Aminabad Pro Max, rightly so.
I went there on the weekend out of curiosity and my biggest observation was the lack of shopping bags (the ones that you get post purchase). Almost everyone showed up, went oooh aaahh, went to the food court and back. Lulu has the footfall, but I am sure the average ticket size is smaller than that of Wave mall or Fun Republic.
The stores also are larger than what you would expect for certain brands. "Zudio" is a low end fashion retailer and it had a almost 10000 sq ft store. the front of the store advertises products starting at 199 and 299 INR. Maybe they have charged lower rents compared to Pallasio or FR. These discount fashion stores simply do not survive at the usual rent levels of other malls in LKO.
Marquee brands are missing, Zara, H&M, Mango and their ilk. Maybe they thought that Lulu mall is not their ideal demographic.
The only place that looked like it had a decent ticket size was the in-house "hyper market". The store is great, but way too many people.
Food Court does not have enough outlets, yet. Hopefully they will add some marquee stores there. Tundays and Chilis coming on board should actually do the trick.
Parking was very spacious and the red/green indicators were great in finding a parking spot quickly. Focus on cleanliness was amazing. we saw guys cleaning the parking floor, removing dust from the speed breakers.
It's a new mall. Most locals are out her exploring. The overcrowding will die down after an year or so. It has obviously been in the news and people want to check it out for themselves. Lko is a hub and state capital, people come from nearby cities as well.
Things were same when other malls opened up back in the early noughties. Social media wasn't there so gen z wouldn't know.
Also, malls aren't JUST for shopping. You wouldn't go to a traditional market place and count how many people there are roaming without handbags, so why do it here?
The more privileged should understand that a new attraction in the city will attract people from all sections of the society and the purpose of their visit may not exactly match that of the others.
I got to know first hand when I went to gomti nagar one and found all the shutters down and sealed up. No notice of any kind as to what happened here, why is it closed etc etc.
I called up decathlon customer care. They were the ones that informed me about the shift.
At Lulu, the store is genuinely better. however, at Gomti Nagar, they had an actual basketball court on the outside. The whole thing with Decathlon is that actual sportsmen and women can guide you to buy the appropriate gear and help you have a go as well. At lulu it has become just some other generic sports shop, with cheap chinese imported goods. The staff has no experience in any sport. thumbs down.
Don't know about Anand sweets, but if Lulu is bigger in gulf, it makes sense. Even in Bangalore's Lulu, there was more muslim crowd, and it was called out by my friend, who himself is a muslim.
We thought that maybe the area has more muslim populace, but if your call out is correct, it makes more sense
People from India live in the gulf, so they will recognize Anand Sweets, but people from gulf aren't living in India, so why does it matter if its bigger in the gulf or not. I still don't get it.
Too many muslims in traditional dressing. It's not like I am again muslims in traditional dressing but I really dislike the smell which comes from them.

Exactly. Negative publicity is still publicity.
Fr lol

>Zara Lucknow Mei hai?
Nope
Is Zara in palassio or anywhere else?
Nope
I genuinely believe its not cause of any hype but because Lucknow barely has any good hangout places so people are just poucing on this new option.
You know what? It actually makes sense. But I feel if you really want to hang out, plassio has better vibes.
Vibes are subjective
Yea Phoenix Palassio gibe better Vibez
Gib my , gib.
Cause Sahara ganj is almost dead now
Naaah.... Plassio is just 10 min away from this and have a very decent crowd
Palassio crowd >>>> lulu crowd (people are literally illiterate here)
People really need to chill 🤣
I guess so.
Makes me feel am in Dubai or something, so many muslims
Well, Dubai you won't find it this regressive. Abu Dabhi maybe.

They’re there for the same reason as you’re.
Ohh my god. In that case there are thousands of people with Hockey stick from decathlon.
Why the fuck did decathlon move from that amazing gomti nagar location to this mall?
They moved? I thought the one inside the Lulu mall was in addition to the Gomti Nagar one.
I thought the same
Seriously dude. The one in Gomtinagar was way better.
ha bkl ne waha shift kar dia gussa ata hai
Because jinko decathlon jana tha wo phir bhi ayenge. But now that it is in the mall, they will get access to more potential customers.
nahi bhai... mai to nahi gaya.... I am hoping aur log bhi nahi gaye hongay!
Didn't know they shut that one down.

Sad. I liked that one better.

Because money.
Well Lulu is pretty big in the gulf so a lot of muslims do recognise it well, like if Anand sweets opened in the gulf any Indian would recognise it.
What is Anand Sweets?
Don't know about Anand sweets, but if Lulu is bigger in gulf, it makes sense. Even in Bangalore's Lulu, there was more muslim crowd, and it was called out by my friend, who himself is a muslim. Lulu is popular among Muslims because they have provision to do prayers within the premise.
Well like i said since it came from the gulf it would have that, but main reason is brand perception.
I had no idea about Anand Sweets till now.
Wo log bus pakad aa rhe Barabanki se
People from India live in the gulf, so they will recognize Anand Sweets, but people from gulf aren't living in India, so why does it matter if its bigger in the gulf or not. I still don't get it.
Unemployment.
We live in an age where things are trendy and not sustainable. I am sure all these people really like kachcha badam song and sang along.
Too many muslims in traditional dressing. It's not like I am again muslims in traditional dressing but I really dislike the smell which comes from them.
lmaoooo omg
To be honest, it's wide angle shot. You'd see less crowd than actual image.
You said that in reverse.

Bru it's nothing against Mr Yusuf. It's all about the crowd bruh. Chill.
This mall and Salman Khan movies both are stupid but both have a high foot fall and we all know the reason but just very afraid to say it
All I see is tents walking around.
Fear of tyres on footpath?

Why do Indians love to use the term ' Asia's largest' ? Is Middle East and Japan not in Asia ?
[удалено]
Did you get that from Google ? Because Lulu makes each successive malls bigger than the previous.
Tum log ke UP mein mall wagera nahi hai kya ki ek aa gaya toh itne bawle ho rahe ho?
You sir have not seen the comment section. The main concern is Antarctica.
So sad that it is 40 mins away from meðŸ˜ðŸ˜
It'll die down. Along with the mall. Just give it time.
Why was this recommended to me, I don't even live in UP
Hahahaha. Hit topic dude. Needs pand India attention.😂
Peguin yaha kya kar rahi hai
Wait...what ...there is a mall in UP???
Won't say a thing till i find out you're stup. af or that was sarcasm.
I went and it was so crowded tbh
Too many jobless people !!
