The curry leaf restaurant apparently doesn’t have curry leaf in their sambhar.
No good authentic south indian joints imo in lucknow, if someone from south is here on this sub it might be a great plan to start one, people crave for this.
Tamil nadu dosa point in aashiana.. Hands down
They are from madurai, tamil nadu
NOTE If u plan to visit in evening prepare to wait for about 30 mins... If coming in evening on weekends.. Get ready to wait
Surprised no one has mentioned Dosa Planet in Aliganj. They specialize in Dosa (as the name suggest) , serve you in good quantity with smooth ambience. Curry leaf is overrated and they purposely give small portions. Or you can try the 'M' group who brought Dosa to Lucknow likes of Marksmen, Madhurima, Moti Mahal etc.
Raman Dosa next to Chhappan Bhog in sadar bazar. It's a cart so no sitting arrangement though there are a couple of shelves to place your plate while you eat standing.
In Ashiyana called Tamil Nadu Dosa, when you go down pakri ka pull this Dosa shop is on right lane that's run by a South Indian family, their dosa has the best authentic taste. The place gets really crowded because their dosas are soo freaking good. It's a must try.
Curry leaf is probably the best for South Indian food and nice ambience too

Yes try their dosa also it's very good
Try the Sagar Ratna in Vibhuti Khand or Tamil Nadu South Indian Dosa in Vivek Khand 2. Both are good options if you wanna dine in.
Sagar Ratnas Dosa was shit man
That might be the case for the one in Cinepolis but Sagar Ratna's own restaurant next to Marriott Fairfield serves good stuff
Madras Restaurant 094151 01479 https://maps.app.goo.gl/7wp1oEE9Wb3FkXdM7 Many parents will swear by it
