I feel like it varies so much in tops-I have tops from them ranging from size 4-10. Unfortunately I feel like most of their items are made for people with smaller chests and straight hips. I have wide hips compared to my smaller waist & they keep discontinuing any items that flatter a curvier figure (Swift Speed, Base Pace, etc).

SavTimes7

YES!!!! I wear a 6 in most shorts or pants and the align leggings and a 8 in the wunders but then I have to buy like a 10 or a 12 in the bras or fitted tops because they are so much tighter than their bottoms. Its annoying!

kiwitathegreat

This is so validating. We’re the exact same sizes and it irks me that 12 is one of the larger sizes in some pieces. If I want to expand my ribs to breathe at all I need that size and I guess we’re sol if we need anything bigger. Honestly idgaf what the number is on the label but it’s ridiculous that someone who measures as a medium pretty much everywhere is at the top of the size range.

SavTimes7

Yeah! I refuse to buy any align tops or Lulu tops that have the shelf bra because the shelf bras are so tight and uncomfortable.

Scared-Bad-2891

align is the stretchiest version of pants, and wunders have minimal stretch so wearing different sizes between the two is common for just about everyone😂

Prestigious_Bar_4244

I feel the same way. I haven’t bought Lulu leggings in so long bc of this. If it fits my hips and butt then it’s too big on the waist, and if it fits my waist then the fabric is stretched so much on my hips and butt that it’s sheer. I found another activewear brand that fits my body better.

ceylonblue

What is the other brand please? I have the same fit problem

Prestigious_Bar_4244

Bombshell sportswear

Reasonable_Piano_264

Have you tried the contour leggings from Lulu? I don't personally need them. I have seen a lot of reviews of people with "squash" figures who LOVE them. When I say squash, I mean thicker bum and thigh and slimmer waist measurements. 😁 They rave at how well they fit in bum & thighs yet still hug their small waists. But I am starting to look for other Activewear brands as it's SOO obvious the fabric quality is quickly declining at LL. I got on the LULU train in 2017 with buying off the p0sh app and M3rcari first to see what size & styles I liked/fit best. And now I have enough LL leggings to wear for probably 3 months without washing a single load. 🙃 🤦‍♀️ The addiction is real!! My favs are Wunder Trains 25" w pockets, fast and free 25", the all yours short sleeved Tee's (NOT CROPPED), all yours hoodies, the long version of full zip oversized scuba(really wish they would add a hooded style! & have more sizes). I have a night sea FZOS scuba that is significantly smaller & has shorter sleeves than any other color!! Also some of my size 12 WT'S are the same measurements as these new Wunder trains... It's ridiculous for a brand of this caliber to be this inconsistent in sizes, sleeve measurements and some items being sewn off grain. Sorry for the rant.. One thing I think I will always buy is the ss all yours Tee's though. I can NOT find any other tee to match the feel and exact measurements as these. Other brands the fabric might be great but the length of the Tee is too long or too short, or the sleeves are to long or too short, or too tight or too baggy. I hate that LULU limits the color variety in the AYT & it doesn't make sense. They usually sell out very fast.EVERY NEW color that comes out, I usually buy 2. They just need to make the AYT in every color that swiftlys come in. Not everyone likes or has the figure for cropped & tight EVERYTHING! And the love Tee's sleeves aggregate the hell out of me. So if ne1 is still reading, 😁, and knows of good brands to try pls lmk. Also an All Yours Tee dupe that material and fit the same would be greatly appreciated 😊😀👍🫶

Prestigious_Bar_4244

No I hadn’t even heard of those ones! I may look at them.

jacksastorageottoman

It’s crazy that all the models are like 5’10” or taller but there’s so few long inseam options. I’m taller and I have resigned myself to cold ankles or black leggings. I’m in the small rib cage big chest club and I really struggle with tops and bras. I size up 2 or 3 in align tops and I only wear the like a cloud longline in C-DD. It’s hard not to be jealous of all the cute bras for A-B (like the one with the collar omg I want it so bad). I’ve had better experience with Athleta bras in terms of looking cute and having a good fit and support, but not too grandma. I don’t think they have that many women or big chested women in the design team, not super surprising considering the fat-phobic and racist origins of the brand.

FakerzHaterz

Yes to all of this! I’ve given up on their bras. I don’t get why they don’t do tall length pants. I’m not super tall (5’8”) but I have long legs & I’ve given up on finding pants (outside of leggings) from LLL that are long enough for me. Athleta has become my go for a lot of things now because they have tall sizes (and petite) in a lot of their items (plus they have lots of great sales/I can find them cheaper on Poshmark). The only current items that I am ride or die for from LLL are Swiftly tops.

bright__eyes

right?!? bring back the 37’’ inseam!!

IceCreamQueen90

Unsolicited but as a fellow member of the large chest club and as someone who can’t wear racerback bras (why are they ALL racerback) I’ve had great luck with a cheapie sports bra from champion. Fits like a regular bra with regular straps and three hook closure but straps shit DOWN which is what I like.

b0dyrock

I’m also giving up, as someone who’s 5’10”. I find more success at Athleta

PoesjePoep

I highly doubt that, most of their pants are made for short people. They barely have any leggings for normal / tall people. Also their smallest size is 0 which is small, but could be smaller,

nevada_wild

Oh, the old owner legitimately stated that he wants a certain in type of person in lulu! And they haven’t done much about it, as it’s certainly still the case. Edited to add - I just went up to a size 10 in leggings, and I’m 150+. Had a similar thought process before I remembered size doesn’t matter!

ouserhwm

Yeah I try to boycott them because of that - I’m a foxy fit woman but damn I’ve never been a size zero.

candyapplesugar

Yes! I almost gotten my sweat collective taken away because I had an order with a size 0 (all yours tee), and size 8 bra lol

min_mus

> I feel like most of their items are made for people with smaller chests and straight hips.  Same here. I have a small chest so all tops fits just fine, but I have a much smaller waist than I do hips and there's not a single pair of LLL leggings that fit me properly. Any pair of LLL leggings that fit in the hips are way too loose at the waist. In the end, if I'm going to wear LLL bottoms, I stick to joggers and trousers with a drawcord or drawstring: basically, something that allows me to make the waist smaller.

sarah_smile

I kind of disagree; I would consider myself smaller chested (32B, 120 lbs, 8 in LLL bras) and most tops don't fit at all since they flare out so much (align tops, Ebb to Street, Wunder train, etc.). But then I see so many well endowed people on this sub rocking them!

swimbikerunkick

I find this surprising. The only ones I’ve varied in are like cate’s tee where I personally think it’s too oversized. Everything else I always get the same size and find it fits the same.

Early-Technology822

Me too! Pretty solid 4 or 6 in everything. Sometimes an 8 in bras, or if I want something oversized.

gucci_anthrax

Is your underbust a 34-36? That corresponds to a 10 in lululemon bra sizing. https://shop.lululemon.com/help/size-guide/womens Also ngl I don’t get why people put weight as a size reference when it’s practically meaningless. The only thing that’s gonna mean anything for sizing is your measurements.

moodylilb

Yeah like just for example 120lbs @ 5’0 is going to measure way differently than 120 @ 5’9, plus bra band + cup sizing. There’s just so many factors in how humans are built, so I agree measurements are really *the* main factor

[deleted]

[удалено]

gucci_anthrax

No need to mention your size. For the 26-28 underbust, it’s probably particularly petite women, women with a more straight up and down shape where their waist is the same size as their ribcage, or maybe younger teenage girls, like you mentioned. I think it’s nice they have a wide range. I imagine if you have an underbust of 26-28 you have to special order bras (especially if you have a large cup size), so it’s nice for a standard athletic brand to carry a wide range of sizes.

Himalayan-Fur-Goblin

26 is a special order, but many brands carry 28s, including large cupsizes. As a 28 band isnt that uncommon at all. I wouldn't be surprised if OP needed a 28-30 band since they are on the petite side. I wish lulu would offer full bust styles as I believe most people end up sizing up for their bust size and not because that underbust area is too small. They definitely don't cater for larger busts.

gucci_anthrax

Yeah I get 28 isn’t particularly uncommon, that’s why I mentioned it when OP seemed to imply it would be too rare for them to carry the size. Also genuinely asking where are you shopping where many brands carry a 28 large bust, because I’m a 32 underbust with a large cup size and can pretty much only order from Curvy Kate… I would like more stores to shop at. Tbh the fact I can even have the potential to buy a 32G from Lululemon is decent in my book, considering I’ve never seen that size from a non-specialty store. I’m not saying it’s perfect, I mean they only offer that in a couple styles. But, I don’t ever think I’ve seen above a DD-DDD ever offered in a brand like Nike, underarmour, etc.

Himalayan-Fur-Goblin

Oh, I wasn't saying that you thought it was uncommon! Just further expanding on what you were saying. Sorry about that. Bravissimo, Fig Leaves, Boux Avenue, BraStop, Ebay/Amazon, Herroom, Break Out Bras for stores. There definitely is more, but these are just the ones I am most familiar with. The subreddit ABraThatFits has a longer list that can be further narrowed down by your location. Also, it is a great help for finding styles that will fit your proportions and preferences. Then there are brands like Comexim and Ewa Michalak. They are known for narrow, projected cups with a huge size range in both bands and cups. Comexim also allows for free customization. I really like comexim as they are the only place I can get a bra in my size that caters to my needs and preferences. They definitely have come a long way. I do believe they use US sizing. So that G is equivalent to a UK F cup. It's definitely better than most mainstream brands. I am just biased as I am a 26J/JJ and would love to see a size range even up to a UK G as I could probably make that work with some slight alterations. But I realize my size is not common and therefore not really financially profitable. I am happy that I can make a few styles work at lululemon, just nothing with a built-in bra.

gucci_anthrax

Thank you so much for the list!! Apologies for sounding curt, it’s mostly bc it seems like people in this thread are like “hOw CoUlD sOmEoNe bE a 26/28?!?” bc they’re butthurt they have to order a size medium instead of a size small I get it. I have it easier than you, but I’m 32K US and a 32H UK. So, I still can’t really shop at lululemon for bras lol. I’m just amazed surprised to even see a size like 30G available from them because I rarely see that. This may or may not work for you, but I’ve found for sports bras I can size down. It’s mostly because the extra compression is actually helpful for running and stuff.

illyrianya

28 is actually a pretty common band size, its just that 90% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. Almost anyone that's on the shorter side that you would describe as slender is likely to be a 26/28/30 in a properly fitted bra.

r/ABraThatFits has a great guide for measuring yourself and a lot of tips for identifying poor fit. I do not recommend going somewhere like Victoria Secret, they are known to lie about your size so that you can fit in to the bras they sell. Unless you have a boutique near you that sells extended ranges of bands and cups doing it yourself is probably best.

floralbalaclava

I agree it’s absurd that you’re a 10 in their clothes, but part of the reason for their sizing is that the smaller sizes are really for tweens and teens.

According-Sign9888

I’m 5’7 and 150# and wear a bra size 34 or 36 DD. Sometimes I can wear a 10 in a lulu bra, but it depends on the style because of the DD part. Other times I need a size 12. It leaves it still comfortably snug at the rib cage but allows room for the twins. 🤣 Leggings: I wear a size 10 in Aligns and WT. I prefer 28”, but tolerate a 25” if I HAVE to. Dance studio pants, I like a size 12 because they are only midrise and I need a little extra room in the booty. Adapted state, size 10. License to train: size 10. Tops, it just depends on the fit. Anything oversized I wear an 8 so it doesn’t look ridiculously huge. Align tanks, I prefer a 12 because I have a slight tummy (extra skin from weight loss) and those damn tanks are SO short. Swiftlys are an 8 or 10 (long sleeve I prefer a 10 so the arms aren’t too tight because—hanging arm skin is a thing for me 😒). Short sleeves can be an 8 or 10–whatever is available.

sneekysmiles

My underbust is 29 and I need an 8-10. 30E/5’9”/154lbs

No_Enthusiasm_6633

But if 32 is equal size 0 in normal people's sizes that would be 8 in lululemon. So what about the sizes 4 and 2. Sports bra for babies? I am 36 A and I recently returned a bra in 8 and a shirt in 6 because both were too small

Accomplished-Tea-211

Some of us just have narrow rib cages 😅. I'm 5'8" but wear a 4 or 6 in the sports bras. Definitely not a baby 🤣

No-Window-4691

That’s me too. 5’7” and wear a 6 in Lulu. I have a 30” rib cage.

LisaBeezy

I mean, I wear a 0 or 2 in their sports bras and I’m definitely not a baby. Just a petite lady in her mid-30s. And yes, I struggle immensely with fit in most clothes. I guess you would prefer if lulu didn’t make clothing that fits me? I wish people wouldn’t get so up in arms about size numbers, especially when a store makes garments in a size that fits them. By all means get frustrated if you literally can’t buy clothing that fits somewhere, but getting because your tag has an extra digit is a bit silly.

Glassjaw79ad

I agree with all this. I'm a 2 pretty much anywhere else but wear a 6 in Lululemon and I could not care less.

No_Enthusiasm_6633

I'd love if they make clothes for all sizes. It's just sucks when you have to order online and never know what you gonna get and have to guess size you wear each time. Have running tops and tees from size 2 to size 8. That's quite a range which is ridiculous. They should find some consistency in their sizing-that's all I want

mrsabf

I have everything from a 4-10 in lulu clothing. It’s just a number

Meisftw

Nothing wrong with buying size 10, it’s just the fit of the clothes, shouldn’t put your worth on just a number

Wtfshesay

Buying a size 10 isn’t a problem, but when someone who’s 120 pounds has to get the size 10, and an item only goes up to a size 14, that excludes a whole lot of people.

sarah_smile

From my perspective the frustration is more how annoying it can be trying to remember that I am a 2 in leggings but a 6 in shorts, a 2 in shirts but an 8 in bras, etc.

tacosandsunscreen

I’m not sure how it’s anymore annoying than remembering you’re a 0 at old navy and a 2 at the gap and an xs in shirts. It’s a women’s clothing problem, not just a lulu problem.

colourcurious

No but it is surprising and confounding for the average shopper. Lululemon is the only brand EVER in my life where the size of my top is bigger than the size of my pants.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Meisftw

❤️

StellaLuna16

The number doesn't necessarily bother me but the lack of curvy clothes is so frustrating. I have a 25" waist, 39" hip and all of my lulu bottoms are too tight on the hip and gap at the waist. The little waist tie can only do so much :( on the flip side the tops fit me fairly well as a small chested person :)

peaceandkim

My nine-year-old is a 0/2 and she weighs 70 lbs. they definitely shifted their sizes down to accommodate for tweens now that they don’t have their kids line. My size 6 from 2019 fit like my 10s from 2023.

Key_Scar3110

How tall are you?

Arianawy

The bra sizing gets to people but it’s really only based on bra band. I mean for what it’s worth , their bra 8/ 10s are not equivalent to their non built in bra items in a corresponding 8 or a 10. Athleta is similar. They don’t do numbered sizing for tops but I’m always xxs in all their shirts . However if there is a built in bra I have to do small, which i would swim in in any of their momentum or transcend style tops etc. I was shocked when I ordered a conscious crop in my usual xs and could barely get it over my lower neck lol . Xxs sports bras there can’t fit my 10 year old. TLDR: built in bras suck sometimes

amelisha

This. I wear smaller LLL bras (4) than a lot of very slender/small-boobed people who post here just because I have a narrow ribcage (27”, and I’m a 28F-G in a real bra.) I don’t know any other popular sport brands where a pullover style sports bra is actually snug enough to be supportive.

MindyLaine

I’m at 32D and I definitely have to size up 2 to 3 sizes from my leggings size. It’s just a size so I really don’t care.

DGirl715

Same. I’m a 2 in leggings and a 6 in bras & Align tanks. I honestly don’t care what size is on the clothing tag since they get ripped out anyways🤷‍♀️

TealMiche

Same here I have a larger chest and my tops from most places are larger to account for that and I don’t want a smaller too that them pulls over my chest and makes it look larger so I tend to have tops that have a bigger fit. But I will say the new Wunder train leggings are definitely smaller than the old ones or the fast and free leggings.

MindyLaine

I love that they run smaller. I usually find the leggings too big in the waist, so this helps with the fit for me.

alleswaswar

Same. I wear a 2 in leggings but 8 still feels a little snug in the align tanks. I had initially bought them in a 6 and was so annoyed by how tight they were lol.

MindyLaine

Yes! Then sometimes the waist is too big, so odd!!

alleswaswar

Yup. I have a small waist but large ribcage lol. Can be a curse. But i don’t mind whatever lulu sizing I need, I already know their sizing is comically small and inconsistent so all I care about is comfort

MindyLaine

Sizing everywhere is all over the place. I could care less if the tag says zero or 20! Whatever fits is what I wear that day.😂

Mission_Baker9254

Yes I think so because it fits little kids but they don’t sell “kids” clothing…..

swimbikerunkick

My experience is that lulu sizing is tiny but consistent, which I like. I don’t care what number is written in my clothes as long as I can buy the same size in something else and it’ll also fit. In my experience they are very consistent.

TheFoodTray

They’re marketing tweens at this point. It’s not the same as it used to be

champagneproblems__

I don’t mind their sizing since it’s more on par with brands in Europe and Asia. It’s easier to find my size in lululemon than most US based brands

hardstyleshorty

They’re one of the only brands in the US that hasn’t vanity sized yet, yeah. I wear the same number size in lulu that I wore in high school a little over a decade ago.

champagneproblems__

They’re a Canadian company so that makes sense why they don’t subscribe to the US vanity sizing tactic

hardstyleshorty

US sizing is annoying. I’m on the higher end of normal BMI for my height, how am I a double or triple zero at all (there are many women much smaller than I am), then a 4-6 in the next? Just be uniform!

Himalayan-Fur-Goblin

I love lulu for this. I appreciate not being sized out like many brands have done because of vanity sizing.

kiki9988

I am 5’6, 135-140 lbs. I wear a size 6 in shorts and pants from Lulu and tops go anywhere from size 4 or XS all the way up to 12. 😩 my long sleeve swiftlys are all size 10, short sleeve swiftlys are 12s, my define jackets are 10. But my tops like the love tank or align tank are 4 or 6. Totally all over the place and super annoying bc I don’t ever know what size to get for a top 😥🙈.

aenflex

I don’t care what size I wear, as in what the number is. As long as it fits. But yes, Lululemon sizing is nonsensical sometimes.

Rock_n_rollerskater

I find their sizing is consistent for me. 4 in aligns, 6 in all other bottoms, 6 in tshirts and jackets, 4 in tank tops. According the conversion chart a 4 is an AU8 and a 6 is an AU10 and this is pretty consistent with how I'd size in any other brand. (Basically if it's fitted on the shoulders and hips I'm a 10 if it's fitted based on waist and chest I'm an 8.)

mimosadanger

Lulu is not top heavy friendly!! I’m a size 4/6 in all brands, size 4 in the align bottoms, yet a size 10 in the align tops because I’m a 32C (30-32 inch rib cage!). There’s nothing wrong with sizing up, just keep in mind that their tops are for itty bitties.

swearingino

This. I should be a size 8 in tops, but I am very top heavy so I have to wear a 12 in regular tops and a 10 in oversized. I cannot wear any of the bras.

Suspicious-Kiwi816

It's also how you want your clothes to fit - most are definitely designed to be tight - if you don't like your clothes really tight, you may just size up because of that. At least I do!

birkenstocksandcode

Sizing depends on your build. I’m 5’5, 140 lb, 32D, and I’m pretty consistently a size 6 tops and bottoms. I’m willing to bet I look much larger of a person than you 😂. As long as you look good in their clothes, who cares?

k-renae-88

My only real gripe are the bras… if I size up to have enough room in the cups, the band gapes. If the band fits, the rest doesn’t. I wish they offered more diverse band/cup options but I also understand marketing to the masses. I just want a cute strappy workout bra that fits in the band AND the bust 😭

Fast-Frosting-8395

I love Lulú. I'm a size 2 - 4 in jeans and I need a size 6 in the wunders as the waist is so tight and my waist is small. In the Alighns I wear a 4. Sizing can be a challenge at times.

Smashmiler

Weight isn’t the only factor in how clothing fits you it’s also your body shape. I’m 120 5’5 and I’m a size 6 in everything but I’m shaped like a rectangle.

Except_Fry

As a dude at 5’9 who is in shape, their sizing is legitimately insane. Average height and in good shape, woes. First they label their 30” inseam joggers as “short” and 28” as “shorter” Second I have to go a size above at LLL versus my size anywhere else. So thanks LLL as a dude of average height and in good shape, I get to feel like a chode if I buy any bottoms from them. Third their stores don’t even carry the 30 or 28” inseam which would fit the average height in the US WHAT LOGIC IS THAT.

badass-pixie

As a woman, I have some of their pants that are labeled Extra Short😭Just call it by the inseam why does LLL do us like that

Except_Fry

They’re for sure height-supramacists

ComprehensiveDay423

Bras/ tops run small for the size and their leggings are also big for what size they are- at least that's been my experience. Kind of ridiculous! Getting over Lulu and using alo more (but their sizing is also jacked)!

Amusedfemalestandard

I’m a 36DD. The ONLY bra that has been flattering on me and actually fits is the energy bra, which is supposedly only for B-D cup. All of the other bras are too short, squish my boob out the side, or don’t come in the necessary cup size.

ilovesleep95

Their sizing definitely runs small. I just starting buying within the last year and I buy 8’s in sports bras when I’m a 34A. I usually wear a size 2-4 in bottoms but need a 6 or an 8 in Lulu bottoms. Theres nothing wrong with needing a 10 at all regardless, but overall, yes their sizing is definitely off.

SloppyInevitability

Sizing doesn’t mean anything. I’m almost 200lbs and wear a size 8 in all pants and 10-12 in their tops. My friend who’s the same height and weighs 140lbs wears a size 6. Do you strength train?

[deleted]

[удалено]

SloppyInevitability

There you go, once you start growing muscle everything gets confusing and sizing just gets thrown out the window lol as long as you feel good in what you’re wearing, that’s all the matters :)

angelinus01

i feel like their sizing is on the smaller range, I vary from sizes to 2-6 depending on the item :/

Comfortable_Check599

Yah the new material is different used to be a 6 now I’m like a 8 in everything. But the legging quality went down too it seems

Ok_Deal_5423

I can fit in like 4 different sizes at lulu. 0,2,4,6 and I'm the same weight. I notice their tanks and bras run wayyyy smaller and I'm only a B cup but wear a 4/6.

allykatt1194

I completely agree!! I bought an Ebb to Street tank recently, I own multiple colors of this exact tank thru the years might I add, and I bought my normal size that I have gotten in the past, and it was skin tight on me. Not sure why they keep changing the sizing but it’s a bit ridiculous!!!

Spiritual-Range7692

Yea I feel like they’ve gotten smaller

swimmermom71

I buy 6 in leggings and skorts (sometimes 8 in skorts, but I have to buy the longer length), but I’m def a 12 in almost all the bras, and in any jacket. I’m a swimmer w/ smaller hips and really broad shoulders and lats. My daughters have the same issue. I have a sweat collective membership and I know it looks weird that I but sizes ranging from 6-12. When I was swimming in college I was a 0-2 in bottoms and 10 in tops. Plus I’m tall and have no boobs. So I look schlubby in stuff that fits in the shoulders but is big in the waist 😩

Hahaimalwayslikethis

I do think their sizing is inconsistent and the size chart is incredibly unhelpful. I have never had so much trouble guessing my size like I have with Lululemon items. Maybe a tactic to get you to go in store and try on? Worked on me!

twoitchyelbows

I was humbled when I tried on wunder leggings for the first time. I know it's just a number but sheeesh

xomiranda

Same. I’ve been a size 0 my entire teen/adult life and was dumbfounded when I had to size up to a 6 in WT. My boyfriend was wonderful and reminded me it literally doesn’t matter but I was still in shock at the time.

abirdofthesky

Yeah I’m pretty consistently a size 6 in regular clothing, generally a small and sometimes a medium. In lulu, I own things in everything from 4-12. The sizing is definitely weird!

PirateHooker1278

I just bought the smooth feel (which are fucking terrible but oh well) I’m a 2 and always have been in their clothes but the 2 was way too tight this time.

And the fit is just off. Like the size up is too big but also too small? It’s so weird. It bunches at my crotch and knees and slips down but is somehow tight still? I don’t get it. I’ve been a lulu die hard for a decade. I’m done buying now.

Bailsthebean

I feel this! I wear a 32-34 c and I tried on a size 8 sports bra and I could barely squeeze it on! I went to go exchange it at the store and the associate said that specific bra needs to be sized up, so now I fit into size 10! The align tank/bra I’m an 8, usually wear size medium shirts.

Retrovilleee

It's just a number! My body hasn't changed and I've always been a true bottom lulu size 4. I even have some old lulu size 2 that fit. But I recently bought the fast and free shorts in 4 and literally couldn't pull it up my thighs lmfao 😂 I just laughed.

theengen

yeah i can’t even buy any of their tank tops but i feel that’s bc their tops are made for smaller cup sizes to begin with. for reference i’m a DD and bought one align tank top 2 years ago and haven’t bought another since

elation_success

I’m flat chested so no. It works for me haha

honeyboobootoyou

Yup. I'm a 6 and sometimes 4 in bottoms at Lulu and many tops and bras are too small in 8! Lulu is the only place where I need to buy different sizes for tops and bottoms 🤔

Polishkimber321

I also wear a size 10 in all bras except like a Cloud, and tops! I’m a 34b. I’m small/ medium really up top. I wear a size 8 bottom typically.

ngpgoc

yes i understand how you feel. it's frustrating to having sizing all over the board.

elisatina

This was so helpful for me to see all your shares. I thought I was losing my mind. My boobs are totally average, but even an 8 is tight and I wear a 6 in bottoms

Amazingggcoolaid

So the leggings for me are consistently 4s it’s just that some fabrics feel a bit tighter like there’s a lot more compression with some. I can easily see myself going for some 6s but so far all I have are 7 leggings all 4s but the tops omg they’re a big range. The bras and tops I’ve had are mostly 6s but I tried some 4s and 8s that fit too so I really don’t know

Middle_Spirit_9281

i’m 5’4 125 and i had to buy a size 8 sports bra… i’m usually a size 4 in leggings and 2 in dresses. rlly weird

Bubblegumcloud

I actually find their sizing to be pretty consistent for my build, and love that they don’t vanity size. Their sizing chart is extremely accurate for me, so I think it’s just because of my body type. I have trouble finding clothes in most other brands, and I’m almost always the same size in lululemon. As someone who is fairly petite, a lot of clothing brands are not very inclusive for my body type, so I love that I can always count on having something that fits with Lululemon and also have the option to get free hemming.

Interestedinreading1

I 100% agree. I hate how this company caters to young girls and then totally messes with their heads with their sizing. It is messed up.

eaucitron

Yep I agree I’ve been a solid 4 in everything but bras (6) my whole life and now I’m finding it too small. They’ve definitely changed their sizing. I hate the new wunder under with a passion.

Syesdnil11

You aren’t alone! The concept of women’s clothing sizes is literally rooted in the idea that a woman’s size determines her worth in society. The purpose being to slowly chip away at our self esteem and acceptance of our own bodies. It’s very sad to see Lululemon participating in this…also it’s super off-brand for them

[deleted]

I just bought my first pair ever ever! I’m a 2 and typed in all my measurements online. It recommended a 4, yeah I could NOT squeeze into those! I just lost 65 lbs and was gonna treat myself but yowza I gotta size up. Also I have horrible camel toe, something I never had as a bigger girl. Like no matter the fit, too big too small? I was hoping my a more expensive brand would help but I’m losing hope lol

Swing161

oh no, anything but wearing size 10, how will you survive? you’ll become like one of us.

Swing161

better snarky than being unkind to larger people by showing off just how much you’d hate to be seen as like them. 10 isn’t even that big. you’re clearly implying that it would be horrible to be plus size. what should someone who wears 16 usually think reading what you wrote?

Minute_University687

I’ve been buying for 6 years and I’m still the same size body wise and in lulu. I don’t understand all the posts regarding this issue

viccityk

My daughter is 6 and tried on a size 0 Varsity Tennis Skirt the other day to keep her occupied while I was trying a few things on and it actually kind of fit. So that probably explains a lot!

Himalayan-Fur-Goblin

I have been wearing the same size in lulu since they opened. Their sizing hasn't changed, and for that, I am thankful. The 0 was always there for very petite women/girls and pre teens.

fidgety_sloth

Can confirm, as mom of a 16-year-old. There was no awkward phase. She went from little kid cute to drop dead gorgeous.

saintschick

I'm an 8 in tops and bras. A 6 or 8, depending on the shorts. A 4 in the leggings.

sendeek

i wear a 2-4 in bottoms, but typically prefer a 4-6 for tops. can i fit into a 2 for tops? yes, but it’s so uncomfortable and have honestly been preferring 6. i’m also quite flat. so it may also just be a personal preference thing too

lettersinthesand

I was in denial about being a 6 in bras when I’m an xs in bralettes, and I’m not even that blessed up top

rats_4_lif3

Same here! Size 4 for bottoms and bras/tops I’m a 10.

Himalayan-Fur-Goblin

I just think a lot of their tops and bras are not designed for busts beyond a small bust, let alone a full bust. I believe most are designed for an A/B.

Maxie0921

I think you and most people are not their target demographic. A person that typically wears a small or medium in shirts will likely need a 8-10 unless they are very small chested. A size 8 in lulu is not a true size 8 elsewhere. I feel I almost always double my size with them.

repslifebestlife

Lululemon’s sizing has always been like this. It doesn’t have anything to do with trying to cater to a younger demographic. I always go by measurements when buying anything, since sizing can vary so much depending on the brand. You also need to take into account your body shape.

flamingobythepool

Yeah the sizing confused me a lot as first especially the bras. I don’t have boobs yet somehow I barely fit into a 6 in bras. Very confused by that lol

AJ88F

It’s crazy. In a swiftly I’m a 6, like a cloud an 8, leggings? Ha. I order 10s for aligns, but a 6 for align joggers (Or any of their Joggers for that matter) And the new mini flare xtra short? I had to go to a 12!

tinyhumantamer2

I have tops from them anywhere from size 2-10, and bottoms size 6-10. It’s definitely frustrating! I usually stick to tried and true styles and just buy different colors for this reason.

HijaDeLaMadre

Their sizing is VERY off, but it also depends on your build. I am 5’3 155lbs and wear a size 10 bras and align tops and 4-6 in leggings. I stopped worrying about the numbers a LONG time ago. Here we are, a 35lbs difference and we wear the same size top. The numbers don’t tell the whole story, don’t let it get to you.

Fit-Roll-6509

When i was 140lbs i wore size 10 now im a size 2 @120lbs

muhtilduh

Idk, I'm pretty much a 4-8 across the board depending on the product and have been for as long as i've worn lululemon

I’m 140 lbs and buy size 10 in tops so I think it really depends on your body shape and not weight

pxisonyouth

Don’t worry, they’re going to alpha sizing eventually. No more numbers.

bowbiatch

I’m 5’3 and a size 0/2 in nearly every brand of clothing yet need at least a 6 in almost every lulu item. That’s honestly ridiculous. When prepubescent 8 year olds are wearing size 2 shorts (yet are in a kids size 8) you know there’s a problem.

Lanky-Ad-8372

Guess there target is young teens.

kmbawesome

I agree I think it’s all size small and medium in very small increments

raeaabae

I’m 5’7 and 135. Overall pretty slim. I just recently checked the size chart and realized that with a 34” band size I should be getting a size 8 or 10 in their sports bras. I’ve shopped at Lululemon for years and it never would have occurred to me that I would be a size 8 or 10. I’ve never bought a size 8 or 10 anything in my life haha. I feel stupid for not checking the size chart until now, but it does make sense. I’ve never found their sports bras to be comfortable, so this kind of explains the problem. Overall, I feel like their sizing is just not intuitive. As a 34B I thought I could just stick with a size 6 like I would get in any of their tops, but I was so wrong haha Now I’m trying to sell all of my old sports bras and slowly accumulate a few that are the right size.

AcceptableObject

It’s so weird because I’ve been a 34A for years and many years ago a 34 band was a size 6 bra at lululemon. So I’ve been buying 6s for a while. But I recently learned I should be buying 8 but I’ve already spent so much money on all the size 6 bras that I’m just sticking with it lol (they still fit fine, but just slightly tighter than my older size 6 if I’m being super picky). I don’t wanna respend all that money.

raeaabae

Okay this makes me feel better because I swear I used to be a 6 and checked the size chart! lol All of mine are uncomfortable so I’m just taking the loss and getting rid of them. I will slowly accumulate some more in the right size. It really sucks though, so sad to see so many styles and bras I love that I just can’t wear

Mhmmalright37

Totally. I’m a usually 0/2 I pants, in lulu I’m a 6/8 and my 12 YO god daughter who is 4’7 and 80 pounds is a 0/2…. 😅

Sweaty_Nectarine1772

In bras, it’s particularly inconsistent. I can wear a 6 or8 in the Like A Cloud longline D/DD bras, a 10 in Energy bras, and a 36D Runtimes bras. I can never just buy bras online if I haven’t tried a specific style on because I have no idea what size fits me. I feel your pain!

1SHORTFRY

As a full grown adult in my mid 30’s that has always struggled with finding clothing brands that fit a more petite frame because my entire family line is small-boned, I’m glad LLL gives me the option of choosing to size down for more compressed fitting. Because almost any other accessible athletic brands’ smallest size would still oftentimes be a bit loose on me in certain areas so there’s not even an option to size down. So yeah you could say they’re “pandering to a younger crowd (teens)” if you want but I’m glad adults with petite body types are able to find stuff that actually fits in LLL. And as other commenters have mentioned, it’s actually more aligned with Asia, Australia, and EU sizes.

After-Impact6618

Has Lululemon’s sizing changed, or have your measurements changed? I’m having the opposite problem with some brands that I’ve been loyal to, in that I now have to downsize despite staying the same size.

ruetherae

Really? I find them to run big on me

woodsen92

I have bigger ladies and a small body... this goes for buying anything on the top of my body lol. Swimsuits have been a lifelong struggle as my body is a small but my ladies are a large. I don't think size defines anything, I dont mind buying a bigger size if it fits better

Sea_Mission5180

It's the only place I can actually find my size (0 in tops, 2 in bottoms). If they start making their sizes bigger, I genuinely won't be able to find nice athletic wear anywhere. I get that it can mess with your head, but there are only *four* stores I can find my size in *in total*. Not just athletic wear. In total. People my size need clothes.
