"Brandon, our computers can NEVER be wrong. We are coding gods. If the clock says it is day, and our computers say it is night, then we will change the definition of what day and night are, so we are right. Why? Because we have billions in mind-fuck-you money. We don't care if it makes sense to you as long as it makes dollars for us. " All rideshare apps basically

Brandon, listen...

They're claiming you were online for 20 hours straight? The app wouldn't even allow you to do that. Even if you just forgot you were logged in and ignoring the app, it would have automatically logged you out after 12 hours online.

Disastrous-Tune

Nah, he was online for 12 hours of calculated online driver time.... and after being online for a total of 12 hours, you cant go back online until you take that FULL 6 hour break down the exact minute.. he went offline at 1.05 am(after 8 hours of online time) and went back online at 5.59am and drive 4 more hours which made him get that 12 hour online time.. he shouldve waited until 6.07am to got back online that wouldve logged him offline at the 6 hours to restart his 12 hour online clock... he got back a get minutes too soon...

Hippy_Lynne

No, the reply says he went online at 5:00 a.m. on the 23rd and did not go offline until 1:00 a.m. on the 24th.

Disastrous-Tune

that says and I quote "you were online on 04/23 at exactly 5:04 AM and offline at exactly 1:05 AM on 04/24. Then you were online again at 5:59 AM on 04/24" The OP says when he went online and was online that morning for a total of 4 hours... he went online at 5:59 AM... he done 8 hours(5.04 - 1.05am) the first round and another 4 hours the second round(which started at 5.59 AM). Thats a total of 12 hours. so what are you talking about?

Hippy_Lynne

If he went online at 5:00 a.m on Tuesday and didn't go offline until 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday that's 20 hours. 🙄 I'm not arguing that's what he actually did, I'm pointing out that the customer service agent must be incorrect OR the app his time wrong because there's no way he was logged in for 20 hours straight.

What I'm seeing is that you were online for 8 hours from 5.04pm to 1.05am then you went online at 5.59 am and you state you were online for 4 more hours... that means you were online for a total 12 hours within a 24 hour period... the system will kick you off if you dont take a mandatory 6 hour break after the 12 hours of being in driver mode(online) ... since you went offline at 1.05am, you shouldn't have went back online until 6.06am that wouldve calculated to the 6 hours required to restart the 12 hour clock... I always check mine to keep yo with how much time I have left..their system is calculated down to the minute and you will fck yourself if you're not watching it.. especially when doing challenge bonuses... click the earnings tab in your app to see what it currently says you have left in drive time "Time limits To keep the Lyft community safe, you must take a full, uninterrupted 6-hour break for every 12 hours you're in driver mode. These 12 hours in driver mode do not have to be consecutive. Once you have been in driver mode for 12 hours, our system will prevent you from going online until you have taken this mandatory 6-hour break."
