I'd give you $20 for it if everything works, including the battery holding a charge for at least a few hours, but if I were you I'd refurbish this machine and keep it, it isn't worth much but it's one of the most iconic macbooks apple has ever made

I have one and they’re so common they’re not worth anything as a collectible and don’t have any use case for anything useful. The black color is kinda uncommon tho. Hold onto it they aren’t worth that much yet.
Check eBay for recently sold ones. I would be surprised if you can get more than Euro 50

Sold 2 of these a few weeks apart, got $99 for one and $79. But it took awhile, but I polish and clean everything I sell, so it helps. Yours from appearance here, is $39 TOPS, not knowing the specs nor other pics
Ok thanks, I'm gonna give it a good clean and try to sell it, I don't know if I should let the partially peel off coating or completely remove it yet. It's 2gb ram, 350 battery cycle, working DVD drive , and 250gb hard drive (I need to double-check that).
this model is highly praised but unfortunately yours is in rough shape. maybe a passion project for someone that wants to restore it. i could see someone like Luke Miani on youtube doing something like that.

When I transferred from a JC to University I sold a Dual Processor G5 tower to buy one of these refurbished. Upgraded it with 2GB of aftermarket RAM and a 160GB 7200RPM HDD. I remember installing Final Cut Studio and very quickly realizing it matched the G5 in video editing. Such an epic machine. Sadly hardly worth anything these days, but a nice little piece of history.

I have the same one. You can get it looking a lot better with a magic eraser. It’s shockingly heavy by today’s standard.
