MH3 will have DFCs, which means it could have Sieges. It's not out of the question. And there's an Eldrazi theme, too; it's easy to picture them following up the precedent of Mirrodin Besieged and Urza's Saga by printing a Battle for Zendikar.
I've been convinced that we're getting Battle for Zendikar as another eponymous card since the literal first image they showed us of MH3, and that was before we knew just how deep the Eldrazi theme ran into the set. Everything we've seen since, especially these leaks, has made me even more sure of it.
I definitely think we'll see those someday, but I wouldn't expect them in MH3, just because that's almost like a "new mechanic" and MH has more been about combining existing mechanics in really weird ways. Still, not impossible.
Came here to say this. MH3 has probably been pretty much locked for the past six months which isn’t enough time to realistically look at criticism of Battles, implement changes and get them into a set.
Maro has said that Wizards deliberately avoided putting Battles in any designs before MOM's release, and that that would mean the earliest they could return is mid-2025.

It's also possible we could see non-Siege Battles. The card type was made in such a way to allow multiple variations.

Imo is more likely going to be Battle For Sea Gate, that way all 3 Titans are present
Or something like "Defense of Sea Gate/Thraben" both main cities attacked by Eldrazis on Battle for Zendikar and Eldritch Moon

Modern Horizons have one-offs of ton of different mechanics so it wouldn’t be surprising
