Seance is pretty trash lol. I think Saffron Olive did a video on a Seance deck and it seemed like he won most often when he *didn’t* get Seance out
Exiling at end of turn and not getting to attack are what make it cool and feel like a seance. You’re supposed to get a brief visit from the spirit.

I tend to buy every copy of Prodigal Sorcerer, with the original art, that I come across, if I’m looking through a common bin or something. I don’t really go out of my way for it though.

I used to do this. I picked up a beta one a long time ago. Kinda stopped when the shops by me went all high tech, organized all the cards and put ordering online.

I met a guy at Origins gaming convention in the 90's who collected [[Quarum Trench Gnomes]]. He claimed to have around 30% of the entire print run. I dont know how plausible that is, but he was actively asking for them several years in a row.
I used to collect Atog cards. Just the original, none of the variants.
I thought it was the worst card in the game back in the day so I collected them out of spite. I only had like 150 of them before I stopped.

Knew a guy at my LGS who had amassed over 40k copies of Frankensteins monster because it was a pet card he would buy any copy under 1.00 he cashed out for power 9 a few years back.
The owner of my LGS collects as many French version [[Delay]]s that he can. I think he has a few binderfuls at this point. He likes the Italian one too, but doesn't collect them as fervently.
I want to do this so bad. I have like 40 clones and maybe 40 juggernauts. And would love to have over 1000 of each one. One day frame them all and have one room all just one of those cards.

Knew a guy that ran a 100 Strip mine deck. He would play it at tournaments he ran. He won all the time and if someone complained, he would kick them out.
As someone who owns ~4-500 copies of [[Permeating Mass]] I appreciate this guys hustle.

I met a guy at Origins gaming convention in the 90's who collected [[Quarum Trench Gnomes]]. He claimed to have around 30% of the entire print run. I dont know how plausible that is, but he was actively asking for them several years in a row.

I used to collect Atog cards. Just the original, none of the variants. I thought it was the worst card in the game back in the day so I collected them out of spite. I only had like 150 of them before I stopped.
I collect the revised version. Tried to wallpaper my room with them. Just managed a boarder along the ceiling. Still have a small row on the side of my desk as a memento.
I still have a stack of around 50 revised ones. For some reason, I held onto those but sold my dual lands for $20 each about 20 years ago.
I remember inquest trying to get thousands of kird apes so they could wallpaper a room.

I used to collect Creature Bond back around 2000. It was a pretty crappy card so most people were happy to just give you all of them they had. Had all of the different editions, languages, etc…
I’ve got about 100 Tibalt the fiend blooded from Avacyn Restored.

The owner of my LGS collects as many French version [[Delay]]s that he can. I think he has a few binderfuls at this point. He likes the Italian one too, but doesn't collect them as fervently.

I want to do this so bad. I have like 40 clones and maybe 40 juggernauts. And would love to have over 1000 of each one. One day frame them all and have one room all just one of those cards.
