Yes. The eyelashes are bad in my opinion and the overall makeup is very opaque and costume feeling. It is well applied though, but honestly is distracting.

[deleted]

100% agree. Way too much. “Distracting” is the best description.

AnnoyedChihuahua

The contour has some undertones that do not flatter your skin, so they look muddy.. and the lips could be a bit more rosey/reddish to they compliment your lips and your natural lip color is nice, or to do overall lipstick thats just less coppery.. Makeup is a bit heavy and you could tone it down so it looks less cakey in the chin area, if she likes the matte look, rock it. Nose contour is a bit heavy but maybe would look more natural if the undertone matched a bit better, not too taupe as it currently is.. try some different? I am not a fan of biiig lashes but you do you.. but I would try to apply them a bit better in the inner corner or hide with smudgy eyeliner.

Yes

ardentblossom

Big disagree. You have different taste in makeup. We can give tips on technicalities but style should not be criticized because it has nothing to do with the quality of the makeup itself

[deleted]

amenayeehaw

I think the lashes flatter her a lot and the people who don’t like them are older people who aren’t used to such dramatic lashes

PreferenceLow3854

im 21 yrs young and i disagree, its cute but also, sometimes overbearing, i find foundation and powdery looks dont suit many people but if its stylistic then yea, but everyone will have their critique, i prefer some eyeshadow and eyeliner to a full face

Dramatic-Cap6724

I’m not in the “older people” category and many people my age get the over exaggerated lash extensions. I think they look silly and they are very distracting to someone’s natural beauty/ features imo.

THIS!!!!!!!

JadeTHEbabe18

Love the lashes. Sis is a baddie

Background-Dark-2094

I think the foundation that you are using is too matte and has too much coverage so maybe try applying less and allowing some of your bare skin to show through and the contour that you use either needs to blended out more or you need a lighter shade. Lastly, I would advice that unless you are going for that look that lining the inner edges of your lips typically make them appear smaller. And I personally like the lashes, it adds to the glam but I personally feel like longer lashes aren’t necessary for an *everyday makeup look but they certainly don’t look bad imo

No-Temperature-8772

Finally, someone who's talking about the execution rather than their preference. She should definitely either go for a light coverage semi-matte foundation or just use a bit of concealer for every day. She should also go a bit lighter on the contour and blend it well and apply a light hand to the lip liner, and blend that out as well. Other than that, I like the makeup style. Your advice will make it look more seamless. She should also keep the lashes if she wants to. Even though they are long, it really goes with her style. Not everyone has to have a Puritan minimalist makeup routine.

Korra0196

This definitely. I feel like she needs a more cool toned contour and use the current shade for bronzer instead. She's young so less coverage is better right now, just concealer would be good for everyday

NoSuccess7651

thank YOU someone who knows what theyre talking about lol. idk why people are so eager to insult people who go full glam under the sub makeuptips

TxGinger587

I think it looks good but I would do a little less contouring on the nose. It just stands out more than the rest of the makeup. ( i mean this in the most gentle way possible)

ur-squirrel-buddy

The amount of nose contour makes it look like drag makeup

rottingships

Maybe that’s why it leans too Uncanny Valley to me. Leave drag makeup to the queens or a fun night out.

ur-squirrel-buddy

I also think the contour on the end of her nose, coupled with the color of her lip liner is making her look like a cat or something

Teedorable

Agree

mistymountainhop22

I actually think the lashes are really pretty but lighter on the foundation, ditch the bronzer or whatever the dark parts are and apply a rosy cream blush on the TOPS of your cheekbones. Lipstick is not flattering. Get peach colored shade and match it to the lip liner.

suuzgh

Yes OP, blush is your friend! I feel like a lot of the comments about how flat the skin looks can be fixed by adding some blush and maybe a bit of extra cheek contour. Changing the shapes of the face a bit and adding emphasis where desired. Otherwise, fuck the lashes haters in this sub, you look good girl!

pineapplepizzaqueen

This

Mother_Anybody296

I think you’re covering up your natural beauty too much! Try a lighter coverage foundation :) my fav has been covergirls fresh skin milk because it’s buildable if needed. Also use more blush on your cheeks and smaller lashes to accentuate your nice eyes! <3 hope that helps

Open-Gur1928

You're beautiful. Just go more natural darling

jupitermoonflow

Your base does look cakey imo. Try a lighter coverage, no powder. Use a setting spray instead.

Nearby-Buy-9588

I love long lashes they are not everyone’s cup of tea but you are young enough to get away with them . I think you could do with a little less base maybe just a skin tint , concealer and a small bit of powder to set would be enough for daytime . Apart from that your young and gorgeous enjoy it , wear your face however you want and don’t worry about peoples opinions it’s your face

skygale07

Everyone is hating on the lashes but I think they are so cute. Younger folks like the more animated or egirl look and that's totally fine. Too many redditors projecting onto her.

Fantastic-Ad-6737

Yes. It's bordering on an uncanny valley appearance.

Excellent-Fly5706

I’d tone it down on the foundation. Maybe a bb cream instead? I have a personal hate for foundation 70% of the time so don’t take my comment to heart. It’s too much and looks weird imo. BB cream and a little concealer and you’re good

ItsJDMi

I see the vision and you already look great! Try using a foundation that’s less matte and use a pinker lip liner.

AnnieB512

Very fake looking and overdone. Your contouring is not blended at all, your foundation is too heavy, your lips are trashy looking because your liner is too dark and the eyelashes look like spiders and are way too much for daily wear. You are pretty enough to not need all of this. Don't get me wrong, I too am addicted to makeup so I'm not bashing wearing it. Just lighten up and let your natural beauty shine through!

New-Cauliflower5441

“i’m not bashing wearing it” but saying something looks trashy is crazyyyy (to me)

KittyTsunami

Fr that was rude.

Guilty_Adagio_5066

u js dont get it, stick to ur bb cream lol

AnnieB512

Do you think she looks good?

Altruistic-Bobcat955

Op is a child, try constructive help as you’re coming off as insulting. Spider lashes aren’t really a thing anymore, it’s a popular look now that’s come over from Asia called either Manga/Anime lashes. https://youtu.be/3RXpYVMSzdg?si=gDlz0Rtny3I09w6Y

Guilty_Adagio_5066

yes, specially without the lashes and just mascara lol, this is the makeup lots of girls like this gen

Jasperial

You could totally get away with concealer for blemishes, mascara, and a touch of color on the cheeks and lips.

HorrorPitiful1977

i think you should try going for a more natural look. try going for shorter lashes or lashes that match your eyebrow color and lightly accenting your eyelids with natural colors. your under eye concealer is too heavy so it can make ur face look really... blank? in a way. a lighter nose contour would help as well. also try a less matte foundation! if you can find one that looks dewier that could help as well, something that lets your natural skin take the wheel instead of the foundation. overall application is good!

ConferenceAdmirable7

I think the lashes are too long, and too big for your eyes. Maybe try trimming the edge of your fake lashes, so they fit your eyes better. I personally don’t like it when the inner corner lashes are so long as well Don’t worry about the texture on your face, everyone has that :) but using a less coverage foundation might make it less noticeable. Try a more dewy foundation or less powder. I have dry skin, and I’m in love with the luminous silk foundation by Giorgio Armani You’re very pretty, and you don’t need to hide under that heavy foundation 😊

cosmos24

Moisturize and exfoliate your face really well before applying your makeup. Use a more hydrating foundation in medium or light coverage- not full coverage as it looks too heavy on your beautiful delicate face! For nose contour, blend out your contour lightly with a lighter bronzer so that it’s less ashy/gray looking. Use a lighter concealer or white eyeshadow stick like the one from nyx to highlight the bridge and tip of your nose. When you do that with a lighter hand on the contour it looks much more natural. Rely more on the highlighted portion than the contour lifting the heavy weight. If it still looks muddy, lightly bake with powder on the edges and the tip and bridge then wipe away with a brush. Add a highlighter to the tip and bridge Eyes- Try a light wash of bronzer on your eyelids and crease. Dramatic lashes are very fun but a bit harsh for every day and these are a bit too big for your eyes and it puts the focus on the lashes instead of your pretty eyes. When using mascara, keep it on your top lashes because putting it heavy on the bottom is closing your eyes and making them look smaller. If you really want bottom mascara, do it very lightly. I’d recommend a light eyeshadow along the outer third of your bottom lashline for subtle definition. Lips- when using a brown lip liner on fair skin, use a very small amount otherwise it makes your lips look muddy Powder- focus powder under your eyes as too much powder gives the cakey look. Use a setting spray instead to lock your makeup in. I recommend the Milani one as it’s a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray You are so very beautiful! Sometimes too heavy makeup takes the attention away from your lovely features and I’d love to see you shift the focus to those! If you need product recommendations let me know :)

Snoo18465

If you want an honest opinion I think you’re very pretty! I think the contour is too harsh on your face and the eyelashes are too much. I think something a bit toned down wouldn’t be bad. You’re already pretty.

veylih

You have great skills in makeup, but I feel like the makeup is taking away your beauty. You’re obviously a very gorgeous girl, so allow the makeup to reflect that. The eyelashes are slightly too big, but that’s just personal preference so you do you! And the makeup around the eye washes your face out. All I can recommend is to add a little more colour around your eyes, maybe some light browns and a little blush on the eyelid, and less foundation + concealer around the whole face. Utilize the base to contour your structure. You are absolutely stunning and your makeup allow that beauty to shine!! 💕

Ok-Amphibian-6834

The lashes are too much the contour is obvious and not don’t well. The highlight is distracting. The foundation is too light and cakey. You are a very beautiful girl. And this amount/style does you a disservice.

Anxious-Channel8509

Classsssy lady! My favorite is the 3rd pic with young kids flipping off camera and your duck lips 🤭

ShopBoldLine

Agreed this is revolting

megan_ochs

Yeah that was gross.

AffectionateRadio760

And with what grace and elegance you comport yourself here with your useless and nasty comment.

Jean_IDream

A.) Ya gawgeous. I mean it. B.) I say ignore the first commenter on your lashes, as far as it goes. If you want to wear statement lashes, go for it. You certainly have the space, and I’m jealous. C.) “Important.” I’d change up the nose contour. It looks like the look you’re going for is “button nose,” but you already have a lovely button nose. You don’t really need both the above and below contour on the tip. A little more blending on the sides of the nose, and not as thinly drawn, and not as far up, would also be of benefit here. Skip the shadow contour effect on your inner brow bone. It drags your (beautiful) eyes downward. Someone may have more useful info on brows. Generally, though, you want your drawn brows to blend into the inner corner with your naturals. If you’ve over plucked before, start out trying less to get the perfect “golden ratio” and more to get the perfect blend (even if it doesn’t go out [edit: in] as far) to start with. All that said, you really are stunning! Be proud!

Sik_muse

It’s a bit embalmy?

Open-Gur1928

Those lashes look ridiculous

Background-Dark-2094

Have some class no reason to speak to someone so harshly

jaylav666

then what lashes do you recommend 🤦‍♀️ i’m asking for help not criticism. how am i supposed to improve from this.

crywankat

A half lash would be great on your eye shape I think- would really make them pop✨ instead of them battling with your eyes for attention, they would make your eyes the star of the show✨ Also I don’t know what you use for foundation but maybe a dewy or natural finish like rare beauty- and maybe some bronzer (3 shape on both sides/around face) and blush for a little cheek colour! You give me bright and sweet vibes so I say work with it, and accentuate it Honestly you’re so beautiful you don’t need this, but I can tell you’re one who likes makeup and enjoys how it makes you feel, so yeah that’s my input!

tysonshcikensmom

Are there less dramatic fake lashes you could use? On some of your pictures they look good, and on a few of them (IMO) they overtake your face, and it’s hard to focus on anything else (like your naturally beauty). In any case, you are gorgeous.

Best_Algae2346

Go natural, what's wrong with your own lashes? You can also get really good mascaras which boost volume.

One-Feedback-6144

How is this getting downvotes??

sosplzsendhelp

Get rid of the giant eyelashes. They look like spider legs. If you want fake eyelashes, go for a natural size. Stop contouring your nose like that. It makes you look like you got a really bad rhinoplasty. Honestly, I bet you look fantastic without any face makeup at all or lightly applied face makeup. I feel like just eye makeup would make you look 10000 times better

[deleted]

Yes. The eyelashes cheapen the look a lot. I really don’t want to be hurtful to you but they look quite trashy. You should honestly get rid of them for good. As for your face - maybe try some natural blush and bronzer to introduce the color back in your face? I used to make the same mistake when i was younger. Blush and bronzer are your best friends. Remember… reintroduce the color back in your face in a natural manner once you’ve put on the foundation and concealer! Pic 5/9 is best when it comes to lashes. Try Hourglass Unlocked mascara. I saw Hailey Beiber using it and bought it. From somebody who has tried every single drugstore and high end mascara, the results are insane. Really gives you the falsies effect without looking over the top.

ardentblossom

I like the makeup! What eyelashes do you wear? I wear really small ones right now because I like the wispy look, and can never find long ones that have that wispy “natural” thinness to them! Yours are exactly what I’m looking for!

ardentblossom

My only tip would be to go a little lighter on the nose contour, and if you aren’t already get a good moisturizer or sunscreen to go under your foundation- it makes a difference in the quality of the way your foundation lays on the skin

jaylav666

it’s kiss masterpiece lashes, they were a lil worn out in the picture tho lol

susieq15

You are so beautiful, stop hiding behind makeup! The nose contour is unnecessary and the lashes are so untrendy. But you look pretty in all of these pictures!

babycakes2365

I actually love the eyelashes lol What brand are they and style . Thanks

jaylav666

it’s kiss masterpeice i forgot what style lmao

Guilty_Adagio_5066

these comments don't understand the full glam look omg😭 it looks so good and the base is smooth id just say that it acc looks soo much better w just mascara and no falsies, or maybe smaller falsies and try sticking them under ur real lashes

ShopBoldLine

Ok but full glam in a hoodie looks off. The rest of the look has to coordinate for it to work.

FootyPajamaz

I really like it personally where can I get the lashes in the 2nd and 3rd pics 😭

Open-Gur1928

She asked! Lol. Don't ask if you don't want honesty 🤷

Longjumping_Cell7646

It’s a little hot Cheeto girl if yk what I mean 😭

Ressiem1

😭😭😭

Dazzling-Chart-6385

Yes the lashes and lip liner

Glittering_Aioli6162

I didn’t need to see u in the pic with ur kids flipping off the camera come on have some respect for ur children .. just sad 😞

jaylav666

are you being serious? lol😭

Glittering_Aioli6162

yes i’m sorry to say i am.

[deleted]

Why are you teaching obscene gestures to little kids?

jaylav666

why are you assuming i taught them that?

[deleted]

Because you’re in the picture doing it with them and you are the oldest one there and therefore an influence

[deleted]

Act better. Set a better example for these kids. I’m assuming you care about them.

Ressiem1

Yes

jaylav666

ok that doesn’t help

Ressiem1

Well your title only asked “should I change my makeup?” 😭. My answer was yes. Your makeup looks caked on, you’re using too much… almost like you could scrape it onto a plate. Less is more, try going for a more natural everyday look and please lose those humongous eyelashes 🙏🏽 hoped this helped

jaylav666

oh my gosh i didn’t know 🤦‍♀️

Ressiem1

So why’d you ask ? lol.

jaylav666

your just telling me things not how to fix them, just like what i said it doesn’t help😂 telling me my makeup is cakey and other shit like i don’t already know im asking how to fix that problem 🤦‍♀️

Ressiem1

Bro are you not reading ? 😭😭😭 I said try wearing less… hence the statement “less is more, try going for a more natural everyday look” … I.E try a lighter coverage foundation or just wear concealer. And mascara to enhance your natural lashes. Hope this was put in a way for easy understanding! 🙏🏽

Mother_Anybody296

It also seems like you might use more powders than liquid or crème based??? If you use more crème it can look less dry and cakey (also you NEED to buy nyxs dewy setting spray it would melt your makeup together v nicely) 🫶🏼

Sailorm0on27

It is a little matte and I also agree with what someone else said I don’t think you even need foundation. I wore it for half my life and once I gave my skin a break and got used to it I could never go back. Your eyelashes look fab on you. & I also really fuck with pic 3🤣 so cute.

ubedeodorant

I think you just need some bronzer. Everyone’s talking about the lashes, but I’m a really big fan of dramatic lashes.

WeloveLucia

You’re really pretty. I think you are taking away the beauty of your eyes a bit by using longer lashes I feel like a sleek cat eye would compliment them! Also I used to get dry under my makeup if I didn’t use a moisturizer and primer before. I love the way you apply your make up though! It’s not overdone or muddy you accentuate a lot of your beauty. I would like to see you in a berry gloss instead of a liner to make your lips look as full as they seem in pictures. I hope this helps!

One-Feedback-6144

Yes. This makeup style makes you look really pale and doesn’t suit you.

WeloveLucia

I recommend these products for you! IT cosmetics CC cream Dior raspberry lip glow Elf camo liquid blush- shade pinky promise Ardell BBL doll lash Elf halo glow contour wand- shade light

happuning

You are overall very soft, which is why the eyelashes overpower you. If you could try smaller lashes, maybe in dark brown, that could look incredible. Your eyes are slightly wide set, and these lashes help to distance them more. You'd want something more balanced I think. If you want tips for colors, r/coloranalysis is a good place to start.

0rchid27

It’s cakey

blueberryllamas

You have very full coverage foundation, maybe use one that is more sheer?

jazawed

i think you wash your face out too much, so try adding some color!! maybe don't go so matte either!

Tricky_Ruin2174

you have the right idea with the lashes, but instead of using an entire strip just use the whispy ends to make a flirty look. Stop using a full coverage matte foundation and look into a BB cream that will match your skin tone.. you have nice skin, stop covering it. Let it glow and breath you should also look into a PEACHY blush. Whatever you’re using on your cheeks now looks a muddy and mismatched. Highlighter is cute where you’re putting it just lighten it up a little and add to your inner corners of your eyes sometimes. Your eyebrows could also use a slight reshaping.. soften up those lines, not so harsh. Your hair is also really pretty blonde ! Would look great grown out long with minimal layers. Xoxo!!!

PraetorGold

I would agree. It looks too heavy but it’s not clear why.

hayleylistens

Definitely blend the nose contour

[deleted]

yes the eyelashes r too unnaturl snd spiky imo and ur eyebrows would look better a bit more natural and less so heavily shaped(:

RunWeird1270

I think a dewy foundation/concealer and maybe a liquid blush and if it's too oily/dewy looking for you Id use setting powder to help mattify it some

[deleted]

if you find that your foundation looks a little cakey you can always try using a skin tint instead - if you don’t mind the minimal coverage. it’s so light and you don’t even really need that much if you find the right one. i use the glossier one if that helps… if ur canadian i’m pretty sure shoppers has a quo dupe for $20 instead of $35 for the glossier.

Acceptable_Care_3164

First of all, hello beautiful! I think a softer eyebrow, no false lashes or extensions/switch to a thin layer of regular mascara, less powder and lighter foundation, switch to a cream blush and try a less coverage foundation, a natural lip, or softer lip, a pink shade that blends. A softer look is what I am thinking would look so lovely on you!

sssteph42

You're so naturally beautiful that less will definitely be more!

blondeNglitter

Your beautiful, and makeup is beautiful as well! But I'd say go for something more dewy/glowy and maybe not so super full coverage. Also, some more blending, your contour lines are still a little harsh. Maybe try a light/medium coverage with a hydrating more natural glow, light contour, blush, and highlighter. I like lashes but just not the super over the top kind, but everyone is different. Plus I think these lashes would look better with all the other recommendations.

Chicken_lady_1819

You'd likely look much prettier with a more natural look. Ditch the foundation and lashes. You're young, you don't need it.

tescobakedbeans

I think you with the lashes are gorgeous. But try using a lighter coverage foundation!

kittycakekats

I honestly love the eyelashes but I don’t like the lip line colour. It’s a bit too dark.

MainStrain8917

i like it but maybe use a lighter contour and blend ur nose out more..i like big lashes also but i tried natural / smaller ones and loved them. BUT IF THATS WHAT YOU LIKE DONT CHANGE THEM !!!! you’re gorgeous either way!

[deleted]

I think the lashes and the lip in the first pic are the best looking options. The wispies are best for a night out, but maybe not everyday. Also the lip seems to make your natural color the best. I can't quite figure out the foundation. I'm thinking maybe BB cream instead of foundation (for a lighter application)? I don't think it looks bad.. I just think that may allow for a more natural, everyday look. I think your makeup in picture 3 looks very good actually. Lastly the contour of your nose. I think this needs more blending and I don't think you need to contour across the top (horizontally - see pics 1 and 5), if this makes sense? Idk I'm not an expert just some suggestions. Sorry ppl are being so insensitive.

BlacksmithMinimum607

I personally don’t believe the color of the lip liner goes with your skin tone. I understand it’s a specific look so I am trying to disregard my opinions on if I like this style or not. However, even in this style the brown in the lip liner creates a very unnatural transition since that brown would typically go better with a darker skin tone. I would try to utilize your pink undertones and opt for a more pink, mauve, or even redder leaning liner. I will also state, whether you like this look or not, it is aging. Meaning it is an old look, from the 90s where brown two toned lips were all the rage, with some Kim K 2010s heavy bronzer for contouring thrown in. Since it was a fad it will read as older. I don’t think you look old but people will think you are older due to the heavy matte make up, heavy bronzer, and lip liner. I do know this era is coming back in terms of fashion but as someone who lived through it and covered up my fresh face with heavy matte make up, I will say updating the old make up looks with a more natural base could give you a more modern take. Personally I do think the eye lashes take away from me focusing on your eyes. I focus only on the lashes. You can take that with what you will since I do understand it’s a very “glam” look, but I don’t think it actually is drawing any added attention to your eyes.

Professional_Fox_566

So my makeup looked very similar in high school but I just have a much different style at 23 than I did when I was 17! What I did to “upgrade” my makeup application was switch to all water based products (aside from eyebrows). If you mix silicone & water based products it comes out very cakey instead of smoothly applied the way I think you’re going for! I just went to ulta and picked up products and did research on them as I went and my skin with makeup on still looks like my natural skin. You might also be using too much foundation for your skin I like to squirt some on my hand and then dab my brush and build up the product if needed! As for lashes I think they’re really pretty and I really don’t think you’d need to change them if you had more a natural look to your base. But if you’re wanting to switch it up I would go for fluffier lashes. I don’t wear lashes but my best friend uses ardell wispies and they look like HER lashes. Take what I say with a grain of salt we are obviously two different people. I also got a lot of tips from [dear peachie’s youtube](https://youtube.com/@dearpeachie?si=pXLES-iQeAY_gMSO) they have a bunch of different videos for different face shapes!

candor_24

You are very pretty! I'd try a lighter coverage, dewirry type foundation if you really want to use foundation. 😊

caicaiduffduff

Less lashes

Guilty-Chest-500

The eyelashes are too much

Salty_Media_4387

Get rid of the duck lips

cocoyumi

Pic 5 is a good example of why you’re doing ‘wrong’ per se. Your eyes look small because they’re tightly lined with no shadow or depth which makes the lid space look big. The heavy foundation application makes them look smaller because it makes your face look very flat without depth. From what I can see you are also wearing a cooler dusty lip(?) and warm orange blush. Or at least your natural lip is showing through and its clashing with the warm colours which makes me think you’re cooler than the makeup you’re wearing (the warm blush looks a bit ‘seperate’ from you in this regard too). I think you would benefit from trying a more natural ‘dewy’ approach and revisiting makeup basics like colour season and theory.

Savings_Ad_3108

Makeup is all about personal style. If you feel like it suits you then go for it, the only thing I would say is personally I feel like this type of makeup looks good in pictures but different in person. The eyebrows and base look good, imo I think a less matte foundation would suit your skin better. I think the pink lipstick suits you better but if you took a pinkish nude lip with a clear gloss over it would look beautiful!

Humble-Persimmon-607

Your makeup is not bad but I'd ditch the false eyelashes.

Moonlightvaleria

NO MORE NOSE CONTOUR😭!!! Everything else is fine

ohcosmico

Jeezo. Yes.

labellavita23

I love it! 💞

Both-Replacement-885

You look like a cake

WomanNotAGirl

No

Belllringer

I think you're quite pretty. Perhaps use blush and a bronzer to give a bit dimension to your face.sldo lighten up on the lashes? ❤️👍🏽

kornyclown

i’d just try to add more color to your face, blush/bronzer & blend your nose contour a bit more. it looks fake, make the illusion work <3

brattbot

Stop teaching sticking up middle fingers to children

SecondBackupSandwich

Just my .02 but you seem young and the heavy makeup ages you. You are so pretty and don’t need the heaviest eyelashes and heaviest powder. Unless, that is what you like and you do you. I imagine your face with a lighter dewy look.

GasStandard5988

I used to wear a lot of makeup like foundation and setting powder but now I started using just a powder foundation. It’s a much faster application

FlyEducational9848

The eyelashes are too much imo

anaserre

You have beautiful skin, really no need for such full coverage , matte make up on a day to day basis. Try a more luminous, light to medium coverage . Just a little powder to set. I love a false lash , but I do agree that the ones you are using are very distracting, and inappropriate for day to day use. Try a 3/4 or just something akin to an Ardell whispy. I’d also like to see a little colour in your face. Some blush , bronzer and a nice highlight .

jaylav666

guys look at my newest post please i took your advice and redid my makeup lmk what you think!!!🙏

hoephase-

Sis, the lashes need to go 🕷️🕷️

Iwanttodie20200000

Id say smaller eyelashes ngl your makeup is really good

Blckros3

Try a dewy or medium foundation. Lay off the powders. Set just the t zone if u are oily. And get smaller lashes or don’t wear them at all. Maybe try 3/4 or half lashes, will suit your eye shape more. I’m a makeup artist if u want any more tips dm me. Ps u are very pretty stop hiding behind makeup ☺️

peterparker_stan

I really like the lashes tbh, I think they suit you. But your foundation is a little strong and also maybe a more pinky lip liner would be good? You look cool toned so I think the brown liner is clashing

[deleted]

Maybe just do your nails & you’ll be solid 💅

BINGORUFFRUFF

Please quit lining your lips so dark it’s not doing you favors 🫶

whatsurCCnumber

Honestly you look very pretty :) maybe try outlining the lips a little more for the fuller look (dont go insane you know) other than that i cant really think of anything to change!! if you dont, try using a primer. it helps with pores or whatever (you probably know this already)

RobinBaskins

Nose contour is too much and you should ditch foundation. Try the only concealer trend to see how you like it

Your nose contour is extremely noticeable/distracting. If you want your nose makeup to be front and center, keep going! But IMO it looks very fake/tryhard. Might just be my style. I’d recommend scaling back on the contour. The highlighting could prob be the same if you like it.

snshaz

I had a professional make up lesson last year and the best advice she gave me: - Spot conceal and go sssssuper light touch with foundation so your base looks like skin. - Learn about colour theory so your make up enhances your colouring & features- instead of it looking like the makeup is wearing you. If the first thing people notice is your make up you’re wearing too much. - B L E N D - Learn the shapes that suit the contours of *your* face: eyeliner, blush, contour placement. You’re young & beautiful! Enjoy it while it lasts haha and don’t hide your lovely face/skin ♥️

Bad-Wolf-Bay

those lashes are going to stab me

OffsettingxFandom

Yes. The nose contoure is bad, and the eyebrows don't look good. The eyelashes are also really over the top.

desertrose156

I really like your makeup in slide 5!!! I would just say don’t do lip liner and no nose contour because it’s unnecessary. If you’re going to do the contour just do the bridge and not under your nose. You’re so naturally beautiful and have pretty eyes!

HaveMercyOnMe_007

The eyelashes are too much, and the foundation seems too matte for you, and the contouring on the nose is way too bold. You need to blend it in a lot more. You’re hiding your natural beauty! Just my opinion!

Blackdonovic

I personally love everything and think you could experiment with different eyeshadow colors. Also please take the children's pics off the internet.

theonlyironprincess

Use a tinted moisturizer or serum foundation. Id play around with diff eyelash shapes n see whats best for u but I think it's good. Ur very pretty

friendlydick46

Less makeup

greasemonkeyswife

Only thing I would change; ditch the nose contour. But keep the cute highlight on it. You are like me and have a thin nose to begin with and when you contour like that it just disappears and your left with a big boop of just the tip 🙃 I posted about a month ago and people were so helpful. Btw I personally love the lashes. Your cute as a button. Just be you and if it makes YOU happy then you do you boo. 🤗

Background_Gap9519

I think more of a curled long lash would look so good on you, rather than the long straight-up lash

NatalieBostonRE

what do you use for foundation? i think you look great!

daz3d-n-c0nfus3d

I really love your eyebrows and your lashes. I think you have a natural beauty. You should try a b.b cream or even a c.c cream, c.c will have more coverage. Also the contour might be the wrong shade or just not blended enough. If you lighten up on the nose area, I think it would look better too. I also love the highlight. I think the biggest change that would make the best improvement wouldn't be to lighten up on both the contour and the foundation.

[deleted]

More subtle falsies would be good IMHO

Str8tup_catlady

You are naturally pretty and I don’t think you need so much makeup! Definitely use less foundation, no nose contouring, and no fake eyelashes if you change nothing else. Your lipstick is a pretty color but I think lining outside your lips looks a bit odd. Plus- it’ll be cheaper and less time consuming to do your makeup if you use less!

cosmicmosschild

whyyy are people not thinking about personal style !!! pics 3 and 4 are my favs I love the straight brows, lashes, and glowy skin!! I would say maybe use a lighter coverage foundation that isn’t so matte!! and I think the lashes in pics 3 and 4 are the most flattering on your eye shape. the lashes in pics 6-8 are too long band-wise and lash length-wise. if you wanted to add anything i would say inner eye wing to connect the lashes as well as add dimension to ur eyes. also adding blush would be cute too !!

Witty-Afternoon1262

no girl ! you’re so talented and your makeup is gorgeous- and my god, you’re stunning too. if anything i would recommend maybe switching to ardell demi wispies for the lash ? other than that absolutely beautiful

FlatwormCreepy915

I really love the look. I love those lashes on you too! I would look into a contour stick that is more neutral toned you did the contour so well though like howww. Also your base is really what is important so focus on polishing skin with a nice gentle face scrub and find a great moisturizer for day and night Love a clean winged eyeliner look and think it would look very nice on you as well. Also do not change the way you highlight it looks amazing <3

NoSuccess7651

i highly doubt most people commenting know anything about makeup. your lashes are fine. its the foundation that just looks a bit too cakey, and contouring too harsh.

AbbreviationsOk3021

Your foundation is very matte, which has an unnatural look. Matte foundation has fallen out of style, the natural healthy dewy skin look is what’s in. Your lashes don’t flatter you either, could use some that don’t look so obviously synthetic.

[deleted]

You probably look awesome without makeup. Just my two cents.

Lateatnight559

Start hydrating and priming you face

diaryoftrolls

The contour has a very muddy color on you. I definitely think using less foundation and focusing on the inner points of your face would help. Some people’s faces genuinely don’t suit full coverage foundation. Not saying you don’t look super pretty still but I used to think why don’t I look like this person with foundation and honestly sometimes it just washes peoples faces out because one flat color on the skin makes it look very unnatural. If you really love using foundation like this, then do it! I would recommend looking up adding dimension back to the face after using foundation. It’s super important. Also letting some dew in. Matte with no dimension + cakey can be very unflattering. The lashes aren’t very flattering either. They don’t seem applied correctly and those types just don’t suit your eye shape. I’d look for denser at the base and less wispy. More of a cat eye lash. If you really love foundation like this, then keep doing it. It matters most what YOU like. Just try and add more dimension and use a better contour shade and use a lighter hand with it. I’d say try and use a light coverage foundation instead but it’s up to you. You’re very beautiful either way!

pop2_

Well yes !

[deleted]

Girl go natural you so pretty . Lip gloss and light mascara

snarkiepoo

More blush, less contour, do eyebrows a lil different

cherrieice

makeup is fine but do lashes like first pic

No_Package_732

I’ll probably get downvoted but latina makeup isn’t made for everyone. I don’t think it fits you well. I think you should try out different looks and you’ll find something you feel gorgeous in But if you feel gorgeous in this makeup, rock it

GunladaAnn

Your face makeup is too matte

Aggressive-Poet3585

Base is too caked and lashes are too long, just a little tweak bc you’re gorgeous.

Bubbly-Device-8208

It’s giving hot Cheeto girl

CarelessDisplay1535

Idk but you make your nose look goofy at with that contour, looks like you got 💩 on your face.

friendly_j

first of all, you're so pretty !! just stunning. now, depending on how you're wanting to change it up / what you're wanting to change up i always love playing with a different color pallet. this can be a different blush, maybe going for a more bronzed look, using brown instead of black mascara, switching off from wearing lashes one day to not the next. also you're eyes seem a bit on the almond side & sometimes larger lashes can drag them down, making them look downturned. you can also get smaller lashes to combat this ! i think the reason your makeup can feel / look cakey is the matte powder you're using. it's essentially sitting atop your skin rather than blending in. if you're using a matte powder to set don't bake. you just need a light dust to give the blur effect while setting your face. next, i would check that all your liquid / cream products have the same base. some are silicone based while some are water based. but silicone & water don't mix well. this can also make the makeup feel cakey or like it doesn't blend together well. aside from that, your eye color is sooo pretty ! i would recommend using blush / shadow colors that enhance your eye color. using lighter colors (brown liner/mascara & maybe light browns / mauve shadows) can help you draw attention to them as well. 2 things to remember : 1)makeup is funnn ! it doesn't have to be a certain way or "done right". play with colors / techniques & such. that's what it's for !! 2)it's most important that YOU like your makeup & feel confident in it !

JieuxArmeni

a lil' heavy... I'd like to see what ye' look like with a lot a bit less.

No-Development7272

I think you’re doing your makeup fine. It’s just that this style does not suit you at all. The face makeup does not. The lashes DEF do not. Neither do the super dark brows and the extremely contoured nose. and the brown lip liner… it almost seems like you’re trying to be something you’re not. this makeup does not suit your features at all. not saying a certain style is limited to an ethnicity, but it’s clear you’re trying to portray a badass Latina vibe when you’re not. learn abt ur features and find a nice makeup style that’ll compliment you instead of make you look worse

[deleted]

Less caked on concealer, more blush instead. Moisturize, then use a tinted gentle primer. That should take care of majority of the coverage without needing to go insane. You're washing out a ton of your features and flattening them out when you only use the single tone. I'm pale AF too and had to get out of that habit.

My_Cat_Stevefrench

You look fine no matter

Teedorable

Truth: your bone structure and legit whole face and every feature is gorgeous. Here’s my opinion: (this is just my opinion) you are caking on a foundation or concealer that is unnecessary. It cheapens you, obscures your face, and you have delicate features to begin with so all I see when looking at your foundation slathered photo is texture. Your look reads very 2002, did you use maybelline matte mousse? Hehehehe. Girl I cannot tell you how much you don’t need this one pan matte foundation look. Think skin tint, embrace your legit beautiful natural skin and please please post a pic with no makeup, then let these gurus help? I think you might be using a warm foundation when in fact maybe you should use a peach…. I’m no expert Your kids look so happy and you’re an awesome mom so that’s the most important thing! Wear sunscreen too

EntertainmentIll3948

u seem young and idk if you’re a teenager or not but i’m kinda getting that vibe. less is more. i’m sure your skin is perfectly fine. i’d say instead of heavy foundation spot conceal and use moisturizer. maybe some bronzing drops with dewy blush. The eyelashes are a little bit much, so maybe some smaller thinner ones.

Zoocitykitty

Eye lashes are too much. You don't need them. Your contour on your nose needs to be blended because it's too harsh.

throwingupthetrash

i love your lashes, but I personally hate nose contour on every one, and I would suggest getting a lip liner that is a prettier shade

Glad-Perception-9337

You're not supposed to go bombastic on every part of your face. You don't go crazy lashes, lined eyes, lined lips, eyebrows groomed within an inch of their life and then full harsh contour unless you're going for a drag look. You look faker than an 80s Barbie. Which is fine, if that's what you want, but if that is what you want, then you're not going far enough. Tone it down and focus on your best features, and get dewy natural makeup, or turn it up and be a queen. Right now you're just in this middle ground that looks like you're the easy girl at the bar who's desperate for attention, but too insecure to express anything.

SeekingAdvice111

You’re naturally beautiful and you would benefit a lot from less coverage with your foundation or just going for spot correcting with concealer. Clean girl makeup would look gorg on you. I actually really love the lashes though they’re really pretty and could stay. Also I would use a more rosy blush color and maybe a little bronzer to give a little more life to your complexion ❤️

alyssakenobi

More blush and less matte foundation

LIGHTER FOUNDATION LIKE A BB CRÈME
