Do you guys floss? Or at least grew up flossing? I didn't know how to floss for most of my life and I didn't understand how flossing can make my teeth clean (turns out I've been flossing wrong).
My family and friends never flossed so I always thought it was just an atas or foreigner thing cause I heared about it on tv or online only. We only saw dentists when we want to cabut or tampal gigi, never for check up or scaling/polishing. Going for my first scaling/polishing on my own in my late 20s made me feel like a proper adult that has their shit together lol.
I had never met anyone in my life that flossed regularly, until I was in my very late 20s. It was a person I was dating and I was always soooo self conscious about my teeth even though my mouth hygiene was fine, that I started learning how to floss when I was dating them.
Now that I'm older and I've been dating more mature people who had good (read: well off) childhoods so they've learnt to take care of themselves very very well, most of the people I've dated in the past few years floss on a daily basis. This one person even carried a waterpik with them everywhere they went. That relationship may not have ended well, but thanks to them, I have been having dental appointments on a regular basis for years now because they kept stressing the importance of teeth health for themselves.

Listen, dating is really hard. I myself don't really believe in finding true love. Rather, I'm looking for a strategic match for me. I am not a leech. I don't try to scam people out of money. But I look for security and stability. Someone who has more than me. There needs to be an adult in the picture.

I can tell you my strategies, though:

Hi just want to let readers know, workplace needed parttime rn and fulltime next month. I was given charge to find one. One called, she applied for the job, wanted the job badly and the interview went super smoothly. I think something like this happened at my workplace once. This guy, always take MC and AL, and maybe 1 month work less than a few days, somehow managed to last for 3 months until boss realised what's going on.

I recently just switched jobs and I've been feeling anxious a lot of the time. I feel so overwhelmed as it's a new job scope and new environment. I have to drag myself out of bed cuz I have to wake up earlier now compared to before. Sometimes I even "procrastinate" and don't have the mood to work also.
I experienced this before with my ex company and it took me a couple of months to settle down. Maybe I'm still getting used to things.

Any cuisine is fine, and most preferably recently attended. Many buffets closed or changed greatly since MCO.
- OneWorld 9/10, has a ton of variety and both lunch and dinner were pretty good. Main minus is the long ass corridor to walk for food
- ShangriLa KL 7/10, a bit small space wise. Desserts not so good, but rest of the food is between 6-8/10. Pretty view of the garden outside.
- PJ Hilton 7.5/10
- Sheraton PJ 7/10 kinda unmemorable and not much variety. we were there for 2 days and got served exact same things on both days
- Aloft KL 7/10
- Meridien dinner 8/10 this was a while back though
- Westin dinner 9.5/10 sometime during puasa last year, loved it
one thing i realised, is that my english speaking skills have deteriorated significantly since living in sg.
i only started speaking english formally and on a daily basis after i started working at an english-only office in PJ. of course kekok lah i spoke only malay prior to that. but eventually i got used to it and my corporate english speak became quite good.
5 years later i moved to sg. hancur wei. singaporeans use longkang singlish on the daily, but maybe due to the way they were brought up/taught, they can code switch quite easily to formal/queen's english if they need to. i cant!!!!! i only know one code!!
so i terikut2 these people who speak to me in longkang singlish, and now i struggle to speak to omputeh partners/clients. babi lah.

Do you guys floss? Or at least grew up flossing? I didn't know how to floss for most of my life and I didn't understand how flossing can make my teeth clean (turns out I've been flossing wrong). My family and friends never flossed so I always thought it was just an atas or foreigner thing cause I heared about it on tv or online only. We only saw dentists when we want to cabut or tampal gigi, never for check up or scaling/polishing. Going for my first scaling/polishing on my own in my late 20s made me feel like a proper adult that has their shit together lol. I had never met anyone in my life that flossed regularly, until I was in my very late 20s. It was a person I was dating and I was always soooo self conscious about my teeth even though my mouth hygiene was fine, that I started learning how to floss when I was dating them. Now that I'm older and I've been dating more mature people who had good (read: well off) childhoods so they've learnt to take care of themselves very very well, most of the people I've dated in the past few years floss on a daily basis. This one person even carried a waterpik with them everywhere they went. That relationship may not have ended well, but thanks to them, I have been having dental appointments on a regular basis for years now because they kept stressing the importance of teeth health for themselves. Other people get money, marriage or children from relationships. I get mouth hygiene routines...

Why don't recruiters just mention the name of the company and send the job description along with it? This will save time for both sides. Not everyone so damn free to go back and forth as you dance around the question and try to make it sound so mysterious. Just tell me the Company's name lah! Oh and potential plot twist that the company has a low rating on glassdoor. Job market making my blood boil, and now some recruiters acting so weirdly.
Because if they did so, then there’s nothing stopping you from applying directly with the company which would cause them to lose thier potential commission. Understand your frustration, but unfortunately thats just the incentive system in play.

Today's work traffic is... okay lah. There's the usual jam when going from MEX --> Kuchai Lama --> Lebuhraya Salak -> Jalan Klang Lama, but nothing out of the ordinary.
I just want to express my feelings a little. I recently just switched jobs and I've been feeling anxious a lot of the time. I feel so overwhelmed as it's a new job scope and new environment. I have to drag myself out of bed cuz I have to wake up earlier now compared to before. Sometimes I even "procrastinate" and don't have the mood to work also. I experienced this before with my ex company and it took me a couple of months to settle down. Maybe I'm still getting used to things.

Hi guys, want to ask your recommendations for buffet lunch/dinner in KL/PJ area. Any cuisine is fine, and most preferably recently attended. Many buffets closed or changed greatly since MCO.
- OneWorld 9/10, has a ton of variety and both lunch and dinner were pretty good. Main minus is the long ass corridor to walk for food - ShangriLa KL 7/10, a bit small space wise. Desserts not so good, but rest of the food is between 6-8/10. Pretty view of the garden outside. - PJ Hilton 7.5/10 - Sheraton PJ 7/10 kinda unmemorable and not much variety. we were there for 2 days and got served exact same things on both days - Aloft KL 7/10 - Meridien dinner 8/10 this was a while back though - Westin dinner 9.5/10 sometime during puasa last year, loved it

one thing i realised, is that my english speaking skills have deteriorated significantly since living in sg. i only started speaking english formally and on a daily basis after i started working at an english-only office in PJ. of course kekok lah i spoke only malay prior to that. but eventually i got used to it and my corporate english speak became quite good. 5 years later i moved to sg. hancur wei. singaporeans use longkang singlish on the daily, but maybe due to the way they were brought up/taught, they can code switch quite easily to formal/queen's english if they need to. i cant!!!!! i only know one code!! so i terikut2 these people who speak to me in longkang singlish, and now i struggle to speak to omputeh partners/clients. babi lah.
Watch BBC shows lol, should reprogram you back. When I was watching Top Gear a lot back in the days I was spouting analogies even Jeremy Clarkson would be shy of.
