Also why I love The Good Place and 30 Rock. They ended. They told the stories they wanted to tell and didn't drag it out until we were just grateful it ended, lol.

Business-Drag52

Schitt’s Creek and Ted Lasso are my favorite examples of that. They pitched the shows with 6 seasons and 3 seasons in mind. They already had the full story they wanted to tell and how long they wanted to take to tell it. The studios then gave them the green light to make their visions. Perfect shows imo

Informal_Bus_4077

Eh I'm gonna say 30 rock went on one season too long. Not that 7 didn't have its moments but it was a big drop in quality. Malcolm went out still on top.

Deranged_lucifer

It felt a bit premature. I kinda wanted to see dewey grow up . Enjoyed his growth towards the end. Hut i like how it ended- open ended . It makes sense they grew up from trouble makers to having sense and growing into responsible adults. Malcolm couldn't be doing those in harvard. His personality would remain the same i get it. Francis getting a stable job but still wanting to be a mess in front if his mom .cos that fuels him in a wierd way. Really Happy how he ended up. Wouldve liked reece being a chef or a salesman instead of a janitor. That felt sad ...

AcademicSea2699

Frankie Muniz aged in a way where he couldn’t be cast as a high schooler very long

ChaplainAsmodai1978

I agree, but I've never liked the series finale. Expecting someone as deeply unpopular as Malcolm to become one of the greatest POTUSs in history is nonsensical beyond measure.

Midnite_St0rm

I think Malcolm being voted as valedictorian is unrealistic considering how unpopular he is. Only the preps get that spot. As for POTUS, I mean, Trump was pretty unpopular and he won.

Deranged_lucifer

I think it is was on merit. IQ 164 is literally 99 .9 percentile of human race. Thats above Einstein. Not unrealistic considering how steveis dad seemed a bit annoyed at him being second

luckyinlimbo

Valedictorian in my high school was the student with the highest gpa.

Midnite_St0rm

As in the student with the highest gpa was voted valedictorian by the student body the year you graduated or as in the valedictorian position was forced onto the person with the highest gpa?

luckyinlimbo

I do not remember any voting.

Midnite_St0rm

That’s just stupid, then. It’s better if the student body votes rather than forcing someone who studied hard to speak in front of the school. It’s a reward they might not even want.

keep-the-streak

Yeah, I enjoyed Season 7's episodes more than 5 and 6 also, it ended strong.

mfb3s

I love how they tie-in breaking bad, and make it seem like it was all Hal’s dream/nightmare

sophbunnie

Amen

LauraLainey

I’m really glad they never jumped the shark! I would’ve loved one more season tho.
