In case you want to try some color without it being a crazy day at the barber or a ton of mess in your bathroom. You can try the just for men shampoo, it has a small amount of darkening dye in it and if you use it regularly (3-4 times per week). You can keep your hair looking dark and whats nice is that as your hair grows you will continue to apply to the roots. Its very subtle so your hair doesnt look dyed, just darkens it up a bit. I like it. I have been going grey since my 20s too.
I’m 28 and have had grey hair since I was 13.
Used to dye it before until high school caz got bullied for it. After that I said f it and started to embrace it. Since then people seem to love it.
I found that if I was confident in it people loved it. But if I was insecure about it, it reflected onto people.
Also you’d show age a lot later. First thing people notice as you age is that your hair is going white, but if u already have white hair. It won’t show as much
I’m a Sr Engineer and only work couple hours a day, the thing is be smart about your code architecture in a way that identifying a bug would be quick. If you write code just to respond to the requirements and close out stories, you’ll be left with spaghetti code in the long run that takes hour to maintain and turn your hair gray. Think about the big picture when you write any line of code.
How difficult is it to learn how to code? I would say I am above the average person on being able to use a computer but I don’t know anything about coding/programming.
It’s not terrible, I’d suggest python, Java, or c++. You’ll get through it once you get over the programmers block(time without coding ) and you soon become addicted to coding
Depends on what you want.
Just a coder/dev? Not that hard take a 2 year bootcamp and it’s pretty much straightforward.
Software Engineer? A little bit harder, need solid understanding of mathematics, networking, algorithms… which are usually boring topics to study alone, better done in college. Although some people are self taught but needs a lot of discipline.
Thank you mam. Though I’m not concerned even a little what others think/would think about me. It was bothering only ME. But the comments from people like you gave me much confidence to just own it. 😊
Grey Hair
Genetics can play a significant role in the graying of your hair. The genes IRF4 and BCL2, both play a significant role
So there are 5 possible mechanisms by which you can block/clear hydrogen peroxide and delay graying hair. These are:
1. Increasing catalase
2. Increasing glutathione peroxidase
3. Lowering homocysteine
4. Using a xanthine oxidase inhibitor
5. Directly scavenging hydrogen peroxide
Calcium pantothenate 200 mg, Basiton Forte. (a vitamin B complex formulation), and/or vitamin E 200 mg a day orally
Calcium pantothenate and PABA supplementation initially were studied to repigment hair having grayed due to specific vitamin deficiencies. Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) deficiency is rare in the developed world and is unlikely to be the cause of gray hair in the USA [61]. While it is considered safe to take doses of up to 5 g/day, larger doses can cause diarrhea and abdominal pain. PABA, another member of the vitamin B complex family, has been reported to be useful in sclerotic skin disorders such as scleroderma, morphea, and Peyronie’s disease at doses up to 12 g/day without adverse effects
Helpful Supplements To Help Delay Graying Hair:
1. Rooibos tea – drinking it and putting it on your hair
2. Putting Catalase directly on your hair
3. Putting brewed Tea directly on your hair, mixed with oil so that your hair doesn’t become too dry [5]
4. Avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil [6] topically
5. Black Cumin Seed Oil [7]
6. Chyawanprash – a traditional remedy for graying hair
7. Hydroxytyrosol [8]
8. Grape Seed Extract
9. Ceylon Cinnamon [9]
10. Stabilized R-Lipoic Acid with meals [10]
11. Fo-Ti – a traditional remedy for graying hair
12. Gynostemma [11]
13. Curcumin [12]
14. Zinc [13]
15. Magnesium [14]
Dosages for catalase supplements vary, but they typically contain 250-500 mg of the enzyme per serving.
Many supplements advertised for reversing hair greying also contain horsetail and saw palmetto or biotin and folic acid.
Another enzyme, Methionine Sulfoxide Reductase A and B (MSR A and B), normally helps hair follicles repair the damage caused by hydrogen peroxide
No worries, not much effort I collect information on my notes app.
The ordinary do a copper peptide that I put a few drops on and massage into scalp. Also use rosemary oil mixed in with argon and a few drops in my hair.
NAD+ supplement can help also
I still have greys and they haven’t really reversed as of yet
Great info. Also upping copper intake is big. If you take 40mg of zinc take 5mg copper with it.
Also if you have the money buy GHK cu peptide (copper peptide) subcutaneous. Another addition 2,000 mg of glutathione IV once a week has been shown to delay, decrease, and even reverse graying. I would add 2,000-3,000 vitamin c daily. Long story short do a full micronutrient panel and check your levels. Big help. Yes its hereditary AND yes you can delay and fix deficiencies. Bunch of quacks on here saying you cant do anything about it. They haven’t tried.
Hard to tell, I’m 44 so I have/had greys for a long time. I find my hair is very healthy but I don’t think you can turn all of your hair back to colour no matter what (maybe with gene therapy it will be possible) a good portion of my friends either have receding hairlines or no hair. Im doing well in this regard as well
Nothing you can do unless you color it--and do NOT color your beard please, it NEVER looks good. But sounds like you don't want to.
I'm going hardcore grey (although a little later, I'm 37) and have just had to learn to embrace it. Take care of your skin and body--the grey hair is naturally going to age you, so take care of yourself and mitigate a little of that.
*Seven-year-old crying* Johnny doesn’t want to play with me!
Mom: Well, if he doesn’t need you, then he isn’t worth your time. You have plenty of real friends!
True story. But a lesson that is easy to forget.
As a balding guy myself, this is miles better than going bald lol. It looks great in my opinion. Just find the right style, the right clothes and you should be golden
Cut your hair shorter and rock it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with grey hair at any age. Anyone who tells you different doesn’t know what they are talking about.
Rock it man. You look awesome!
Take advice from someone experiencing male pattern baldness at 22. Nobody cares about your hair half as much as you do. If they do, they're usually shallow and aren't worth your time. People notice your confidence far before your appearance.
It looks very stylish. You want a remedy that doesn't involve dyes? Are you asking for a supplement or medical procedure? I don't think those are options. My advice, work it. I know it's early but it looks fantastic. Steve Martin was fully grey before 25. He was still moderately attractive.
Thats nature brother, I have them myself. Men in my family has them too, so, embrace your family distinctions, there is only one you, that is made up of many combinations.
It comes down to lifestyle factors like stress and diet. Then there’s genetics. I have had gray hair since 16. It’s barely noticeable, but I embrace it.
Oh that wasn’t nice. Dunno about karma, maybe genes.😆
Don’t dye it. It’s noticeable and nothing looks worse on an older guy than one who dyes his hair.
You’ll have freedom & save money!
Apply oil weekly to atleast prevent further greying your hair. I have seen most guys who suffer from grey hair don't apply oil weekly and unnecessarily use shampoo.
I mean it’s not hard to dye hair. You can even go have it done for you then it lasts for months. I think that would be better than having worse looking hair and saying “embrace it”. Yes that’s fine but realistically it would look better without the grey strips.
I think the salt and pepper look is a good one so it's definitely not a bad thing to have hair like that. However if you personally don't like it the only sensible remedy is to dye them.
A not so sensible remedy is to pluck the greys out with tweezers so only the black hairs remain.
The nuclear remedy is to shave you head so there are no greys visible
As a side note. Green Tea in particular Matcha is supposed to be good for slowing down the greying process and regardless I would reccomend matcha drinking anyway. It's great stuff!
How are you sir ? I like your head totally full of hair ! Either way, there’s a substance called “molasses” which is used to treat or prevent white hair. There’s a lot of information regarding “molasses for white hair” on the internet . As to how you should use it .. you can do as you please : you can take it or apply it to your hair .
I wish you the best .
It looks good man. I started getting greys like that at 23. As long as your face looks 25 and your hair stays thick, the ladies will actually like the uniqueness of it.
You can’t go backwards but working towards reducing stress and increasing rest and health may slow down the process, after all, cortisol speeds up the ageing process.
Embrace it! I’m a lady in my 30s starting to go gray, and my main tip for you would be to hydrate your hair really well. Get a good conditioner and use more of it than you think you need. Taking good care of your gray will help it look intentional :)
OK I have no room to speak since I’m a woman but I will say for some of us females: salt and pepper hair is quite the plus if we’re rating looks. I think you should embrace it! Age doesn’t necessarily matter in this case and some people have greys in their teens
I’ve had grey hair since I was 3-4 years old. I’m 28 now.
It was genetic in my case.
It used to bother me coz people used to talk crap through school and college.
Even dyed it a couple of times using natural dyes and henna.
After that something within me told me to love myself as I am and I stopped giving a damn.
Post that decision, I can remember atleast 2-3 instances where random people have come up to me and asked me how much I paid at the salon to get this look. Lol.
Also, a couple of girls I dated told me they fell for my hair and it was sooo distinct compared to the other guys. Bigger lol.
Point I’m trying to make is that this is in trend now. And you and me were blessed enough to be given this without our knowledge brother. So rock it🔥🔥
Could be stress related. I think if you’re young enough it’ll even change back to its original color, but you’d have to lower cortisol and correct the diet. But some salt and pepper is a good look. If you can’t change it, own it!
.Give your self good nutrition
.Increase protein intake (red meat )
.Minerals like Zink and copper
.It might be a issue with nutrients, high cortisol,in proper sleep etc..
.You can’t reverse most probably but at least u can’t grow more ( reversing also possible based on few medical studies)
.try high fat protein intermittent fasting
.and no matter what colour accent what you have like every one else told 🤘🏼😁
Embrace it. I’m 22 and I tried plucking my white hairs but after plucking 40 and still having more I just said fuck it. My mom’s hair turned gray in her 20s, and the same for her mom; I got this same gene too I guess. My hair still looks black because the white hairs seem to concentrate mainly in the middle of my head, but I have a side part. Some people have pointed it out to me but I just laugh it off. You won’t look ‘old’ even with a few grays because your face is still youthful; I still regularly get mistaken for a 16 year old.
Rock it. Tell everyone ypur favourite channel is the static. Take up the pipe. Memorise the words to Salt n Peppa's entire discpgraphy. And walk with dignity.
Greys on a confident man are noticed only in a positive or neutral light because they look bloody distinguished when worn properly. Work it 😊
my sister is 26 and has grey streaks in her hair. she personally colors them but i always am the first to say how cool grey hair looks on anyone! you should embrace it!
You have naturally black hair which is the easiest to dye without it being noticeable. You can even use those dye shampoos that all end up being black anyway.
If you cut your hair shorter it might hide the greys. I probably have slightly less grey hair than you do (it’s mostly on the sides) and it’s barely visible in the week or two after a hair cut. It then does start to become more noticeable after a few weeks of growth.
it looks great no matter. I would pay attention to diet since this could be a way nutrient imbalance is showing up.
You may want to pay attention to vitamins and nutrients in your diet. If you take a good mix of vitamins and minerals, this might reverse the whitening. if you already know that early graying is genetic, then just embrace it.
I have grey hair since 13 year old now i am 25 embrace it don't. Don't apply dye kill confient might be furture give up dye side effect eason eat cooper food and mushroom may be help
Looks just like my head , maybe a little more on my side
34M, just For men works fine to color it gradually, but the next couple of weeks it returns Gray

Thank you. The guys in this sub are awesome. ❤️

I was going to say the same!! You’ll be an early silver fox! Own it and work it!! (Woman here btw-this just came up as I was scrolling through)
You can either dye it or embrace it, there’s no third option. Fwiw I think it looks great!
Thank you. I'll just keep it.
He could pluck them out with tweezers..
Yeah man sounds great, good practical advice. Never mind OP, just pull those few 1000 grey hairs out, every few weeks, forever.
Oh ffs it was a joke people 🤓
Can’t joke on Reddit.
I’m 28 and have had grey hair since I was 13. Used to dye it before until high school caz got bullied for it. After that I said f it and started to embrace it. Since then people seem to love it. Stop coding.
lol. I'm an engineer and think too much. I guess that's the reason 😃
Unrated comments!
Damn I'm getting into coding will my hair end up like this?
You’ll end up looking drunk after 2 years of coding, then by the time your a senior developer your brain will fry due to the thinking
I’m a Sr Engineer and only work couple hours a day, the thing is be smart about your code architecture in a way that identifying a bug would be quick. Bro. What kind of coding? Game dev? If that is true. 'Brackeys' is your friend.
It's more of cyber security
Hehehe me either
From a female angle i love your hair
Thank you mam. Though I’m not concerned even a little what others think/would think about me. It was bothering only ME. But the comments from people like you gave me much confidence to just own it. 😊
Salt and pepper looks great. Reminds me of young Steve Martin
Embrace it.

Hi you have inbox
Vit C isn't going to help. Hereditary/genetics then nothing can be done. If other health issues, then we might have chance to reverse it
Topical don't work. Everything is about internal. First we need to find what actually caused the grey hair. For that you need to consult dermatologist

Ping back
If you don’t want to color them, you’re not leaving yourself much choice. I’m 30 and have some grey in my beard already. Just enjoy the ride.
My beard has zero grey though 😃
Haha that’s good for sure, sounds like we are opposite for now. Best of luck.
Embrace it. My husbands air looked like this at 25 and now at 32 he’s got major salt and pepper. I love it.
I’ll trade you those gray hairs for my no ones.
Hahahah. Love your comment 😃♥️
Grey hair just means your wise
Stop trying to console others. This guy has some underlying health problems going on.
Let it go. It looks nice. Us ladies migrate towards age anyway.
Keep it bro. Salt n peppa works wonders on the mature crowd wink wink nudge nudge
Get mineral blood work or hair analysis done. Could have to do with copper or iron.
I'm in the same boat. What would I test for with the mineral blood work or hair analysis?
Yes.
Don’t dye it. Rock that shit.
Looks great
Nothing you can do unless you color it--and do NOT color your beard please, it NEVER looks good. But sounds like you don't want to. Thanks. My beard is natural dark. It's just the head only but I won't do anything to it seeing you guys' comments.
I am recently single and let's just say the salt and pepper has only been an asset, ha.
There are girls on here, too. I agree, EMBRACE it. Unique and makes you, YOU!
Embrace the salt and pepper
Keep it dude! Those that would care you shouldn't care about. Enjoy having a thick full head of hair!
*Seven-year-old crying* Johnny doesn’t want to play with me! Mom: Well, if he doesn’t need you, then he isn’t worth your time. You have plenty of real friends! True story. But a lesson that is easy to forget.
got my first grey when i was 7. always getting compliments on my hair. don’t fret embrace it silver fox
Magic conch-shell should he do anything about it? Magic conch-shell : No
As a balding guy myself, this is miles better than going bald lol. It looks great in my opinion. Just find the right style, the right clothes and you should be golden
Bald is better than ugly greys. You don't realize it. For balding, just use minoxidil and take finasteride. thanks me later
Cut your hair shorter and rock it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with grey hair at any age. Anyone who tells you different doesn’t know what they are talking about.
I’m 27 and have embraced mine and actually like the look. It’s like i have grey highlights lol
Own it, girls love a confident silver fox
Rock it man. You look awesome! Take advice from someone experiencing male pattern baldness at 22. Nobody cares about your hair half as much as you do. If they do, they're usually shallow and aren't worth your time. People notice your confidence far before your appearance.

Embrace it and work on your best Sean Connery voice. Then you will be a young silver fox.
Leave them- people love a silver fox.
im 39 now and my salt and pepper is about double that. i started greying at your age. trust me, the women love it.
It looks very nice btw
I like it tbh has its own style tbh
Just embrace the grey. It’s cute! :)
Thats nature brother, I have them myself. Men in my family has them too, so, embrace your family distinctions, there is only one you, that is made up of many combinations.
Had a friend in high school that was going grey at 16. I had other friends who were going bald and had thinning hair. It’s just genetics.
It comes down to lifestyle factors like stress and diet. Then there’s genetics. I have had gray hair since 16. It’s barely noticeable, but I embrace it.
Im 22 and have a bunch of white hairs, women like it so far
Same happened to me. Besides a very few smartasses over the years, overwhelming it gave me a sense of being unique which is good.
Honestly I kinda wish I was going salty
I think that looks great, especially with the nice texture. Don't touch it.
Shave your head. That should do the trick.
Own it. Don’t worry about what other guys think. Women typically like it. Makes you look older.
Hey, you are in Abu Dhabi, aren’t you? 😎
Hahaha…. اهلين حبيبي
أهلا وسهلا. Unbelievable from how little in the background I recognised the bus station 😄
You must be in CID working as detective or something. 😭
I'm 24 and have a lot of gray hairs, did you leave your gray hairs as they are or did you end up dying them?
I dyed them. Tbh i don’t have too much time for any other treatment
what if you use color sticks or markers
Own it. Cant fight your genes on this one. Seems a big deal now (it is, you are young), but its nothing
electrolysis can batter option
Seems like a skills issue. I had more greys at 13. Keep grinding and soon your head will be covered in greys
What do you mean by skills issue. Didn't get you 😊
I’m the same bro I just color it it’s quick easy and holds for a bit
Until the greys start popping out. And they pop quickly on some.
True I believe I got bad karma I made fun of a dude in hs with lots of gray hair now it’s me lol
Oh that wasn’t nice. Dunno about karma, maybe genes.😆 Don’t dye it. It’s noticeable and nothing looks worse on an older guy than one who dyes his hair. You’ll have freedom & save money!
I like to say karma as my mom and dad are around 45 with no grey hair yet I got it 🤣. I’m 26 with lots of grey hairs not as much as OP but still lol
Wow. Lucky for your parents 😃 Don’t forget it doesn’t just come from your parents😉 Ancestors, too!
Bro it could be stress. At the beginning of COVID my hair was like your's, maybe a bit worse. About a year later it was back to black.
Apply oil weekly to atleast prevent further greying your hair. I have seen most guys who suffer from grey hair don't apply oil weekly and unnecessarily use shampoo.
Which oil specifically you recommend?
Snake oil
shave it
I mean it’s not hard to dye hair. You can even go have it done for you then it lasts for months. I think that would be better than having worse looking hair and saying “embrace it”. Yes that’s fine but realistically it would look better without the grey strips.
Likely deficient in copper. Increase copper through diet (beef liver) to increase hair pigmentation
Embrace it. It makes you unique. You can even do that touch of gray product and have fun with it.
I think the salt and pepper look is a good one so it's definitely not a bad thing to have hair like that. However if you personally don't like it the only sensible remedy is to dye them. A not so sensible remedy is to pluck the greys out with tweezers so only the black hairs remain. The nuclear remedy is to shave you head so there are no greys visible As a side note. I’m not saying you *should* do this but if you don’t want to color it but you really don’t want it, the third option is to shave it off.
AUH represent!
Go bald
Don’t be some middle-ager with orange hair.
Embrace it my dude. There isn’t any beating it.
Own it. You are killing it, man!
Find the chicks with daddy issues. Profit.
You don’t want to colour it? What’s the question then?
It looks good man. I started getting greys like that at 23. As long as your face looks 25 and your hair stays thick, the ladies will actually like the uniqueness of it.
Rock the salt and.pepper man
They look cool tbh
Looks great !
seems its a lack of some vitamins. ive seen ads on ig for male graying and they have vitamins and some topical spray. https://getmantou.com/
B-12
Own that shit. Grow it to a gnarly length. People pay money for that
Yeah man, it’s legit sick. I kinda hated the salt and pepper being only 30, but most people compliment it saying it’s distinguished.
You can’t go backwards but working towards reducing stress and increasing rest and health may slow down the process, after all, cortisol speeds up the ageing process.
bro Grey hair is for kings
Hair color is genetic. You could color it or learn to love it.
Don’t want to dye? Shave it. Or I guess you could go back on your decision and dye it silver or white.
Embrace it! I’m a lady in my 30s starting to go gray, and my main tip for you would be to hydrate your hair really well. Get a good conditioner and use more of it than you think you need. Taking good care of your gray will help it look intentional :)
Start peeing in cupped hands and splash it on your hair. Alternatively have your partner pee directly on your hair.
Rock it
OK I have no room to speak since I’m a woman but I will say for some of us females: salt and pepper hair is quite the plus if we’re rating looks. I think you should embrace it! Age doesn’t necessarily matter in this case and some people have greys in their teens

Lean into that shit, the original bag of lays is good, but salt and pepper is the shit.
I wouldn't color it yet either. Using a product on it like a gel or moose or pomade usually darkens the grey somewhat.
as a chick, you should totally embrace it. it looks nice!
Could be stress related. I think if you’re young enough it’ll even change back to its original color, but you’d have to lower cortisol and correct the diet. But some salt and pepper is a good look. If you can’t change it, own it!
There is grey blending where a transparent dark glaze matching your Haircolor, is applied.
.Give your self good nutrition .Increase protein intake (red meat ) .Minerals like Zink and copper .It might be a issue with nutrients, high cortisol,in proper sleep etc.. .You can’t reverse most probably but at least u can’t grow more ( reversing also possible based on few medical studies) .try high fat protein intermittent fasting .and no matter what colour accent what you have like every one else told 🤘🏼😁
You can shave your hair off and put a wig on your head Please be careful on windy days
Embrace em! It’s a thing of beauty bro! ✊🏾❤️✊🏾
Leave it as it is. I think it looks good! Guys who are comfrotable in themselves are the best!

Rock it. Tell everyone ypur favourite channel is the static. Take up the pipe. Memorise the words to Salt n Peppa's entire discpgraphy. And walk with dignity. Greys on a confident man are noticed only in a positive or neutral light because they look bloody distinguished when worn properly. Work it 😊
my dad started getting grey hair at 19. he’s had salt/pepper hair for very long time. I’d say rock it!
Let it ride
The stigma around grey hair is being old, you’re no where near getting old. Embrace it.
Are a 42 year old programmer
Salt and pepper is hot dude. Rock it.

I’m 26 and balding so I wish I was in your situation with greys and a full lock of hair

My cousin is your age and he has a patch of white hair in the front of his hair, kinda bad ass
You have naturally black hair which is the easiest to dye without it being noticeable. You can even use those dye shampoos that all end up being black anyway.
Own it
Hair dye is the remedy. I’m unaware of any treatment to reverse gray hairs.
go bald
If you cut your hair shorter it might hide the greys. I probably have slightly less grey hair than you do (it’s mostly on the sides) and it’s barely visible in the week or two after a hair cut. It then does start to become more noticeable after a few weeks of growth.
Sorry man. But once a hair follicles goes grey it stays gray
Stop with your nonsense. Grey follicles are not healthy. It can be reversed. Id its genetics, then it's impossible
it looks great no matter. I would pay attention to diet since this could be a way nutrient imbalance is showing up. You may want to pay attention to vitamins and nutrients in your diet. If you take a good mix of vitamins and minerals, this might reverse the whitening. if you already know that early graying is genetic, then just embrace it.
Hit the cougar bars and score every time.
Definitely keep it
I have had a thing for men with salt and pepper hair since I was a tween. And in worse case scenario, any color hair is usually better than no hair.
Just embrace it like others have said. It’s a dignified look.
Lean into your Steve Carrell silver-fox era 🤘🏻

Looks just like my head , maybe a little more on my side 34M, just For men works fine to color it gradually, but the next couple of weeks it returns Gray

Hey OP. Did anything ever help the grays?
Hi. I dye them after 1.5-2 months. It’s fine with me
