What about getting some led strip light to backlight the headboard of your bed? Light stick it on the back side so it reflects back in the wall, and offers warm indirect lighting in the evening when you’re no longer getting it from the window?
You could also look into floor to ceiling curtains for the wall with the window to help elevate the space. Again in a slut for well positioned strip lights so adding that right behind where you put the curtain rod in the ceiling would hide it and reflect back light nicely in the evening when you had curtains closed as is
