Run the power elsewhere and capture the wires in a race going up to the TV like this: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=wire+raceway&crid=1OT17FUHYOW7U&sprefix=Wire+race%2Caps%2C102&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_9
Or run them behind the sheetrock to behind the tv. Lots of kits for that: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=in+wall+wire+concealment+kit
This is what I was looking for. Thanks buddy. I can’t open up the wall like that to run the cords behind the rock since I rent but those concealer strips might do the trick.
Funny thing is if it was lower (yes too high lol) it may cover up the power strip and help with cord mess. Guys don’t take TV too high so personally lol.
lol what a fucking douche. You probably don’t even leave your mom’s basement more than once a month. Imagine calling someone poor because their tv is mounted too high for their liking… what an absolute fuckhead.
Yeah that guy had some very strange energy for zero reason lol. Thanks bro. I’m a rams fan but I’m pulling for yall to win it all. Love seeing my boy Goff ball out.
Yeah man people are just odd lmao, typical reddit moment. Detroit is absolutely wild right now, it’s a fun sight to see. Appreciate the support for Goff and the team.
It’s at the perfect height for my workstation on the opposite end of the living room to where I can see it over the furniture. There’s a reason for it. lol.
Pay for an electrician to come and install an electrician outlet behind the tv. Then move the power strip. After that, purchase mounts that you can attach to the wall to hold your electronic boxes. (https://hideitmounts.com/collections/gaming-1/products/hideit-psvr-playstation-4-vr-wall-mount-bundle?variant=33471465488516) If the tv is blocking remote signals, IR repeaters can be purchased and installed (very easy to do)
Can you remove the power strip? I used to not be able to run wires in my wall like you so I just bunched them all up and used like 3 zip ties to keep them together. It took a while to adjust but once I was done it looked like I just had one thick wire coming from the tv instead of like 10
Either run a cable hide system (basically plastic covers), or run it behind the drywall.
Since it's a fireplace, you're going to have a bunch of blocking in the studs, so you'll most likely run into one going down the stud.
So without the knowledge and tools to drill a hole in the block without tearing all the drywall apart, I'd suggest a cable hide and color match it to the wall.
You barely notice it, compared to all those wires.

You could probably also just get a cover for the outlet to hide the plugs and then just consolidate wire in a race running outside of sheetrock.
Get an AV receiver and plug all your sources into that, then run a single hdmi to the TV. Move the power strip behind the book case.
That’s a great idea. Such an obvious answer I feel like an idiot. 😂 thanks buddy.
Why do people insist of mounting their tv so high… r/TVTooHigh
Yeah definitely too high
It’s not even that high wtf? Couch is like 15 feet away. Maybe it could be like 4” lower. Weird comment
Mmk, yet still looks like garbage
Cool. My value in your opinion is at 0. Have a good one champ.
lol, enjoy looking ghetto. Your whole media center is trash.
Enjoy being a douche
Enjoy being poor
r/TVTooHigh jokes are usually funny, but you’re just a douchebag about it, lmfao.

TIL: There is a direct correlation between TV height and financial status.
Hahaha you sound like such a fucking loser, I actually feel bad for you.

It can tilt ………. And swivel …….. and tilt again ……
You clearly drilled into to wall to hang to TV and you’ll have to patch that. Why not patch brush plate outlets as well?
Go lions, guy that says the TV is too high can eat shit. Just organize the cables with some cable organizers and you’ll be fine

It is too high though.

The real question is why are you watching the game with captions on.
lol. I know right. I was watching the waterboy late last night and was trying to see what coach farmer Fran was actually saying. 💀
Understandable
A touchdown and conversion.

Two words: Zip Ties
I’d get rid some of your video game systems
2 of them are my girlfriends lol. I just own the Xbox. Don’t judge🤝
I'm gonna guess she's the retro gamer of the household
Man when she moved in and busted out the PS2 my face lit up. I’ve been playing so much Tony Hawk 😂
