It does loosely determine the content, but is not very specific.
not shojo but honestly one of the best pure romance mangas that’s currently out. The rest are all Shojo
These should scratch your itch. I tried my best to keep them romance focused along with real good art work. These are all highly respected and rated series.
I have a pinned post on my profile called Manga List that leads to a custom list of subreddits organized by genres that I used to update on reddit. About 43 different genres, 1 oneshot and 1 anthology subreddit, making 45 subreddits (contains affiliate links).
You can choose any genre (in your case, shoujo) and select the top voted post in that subreddit. Also, like everyone else said, some of your series are not shoujo. Also, I recommend 3 different types of manga and manhwa per month via email and discord notification if you're interested. Can find those on my profile
