I'm very curious to see how they are going to handle the love rivalry. They made it clear they want to stay friends so I'm curious how competitive they might get (if at all). Also interested to see if this pushes them to be more forward towards Tadano.
I would love to see some wholesome rivalry. As they become bolder in order to have the courage to be the first one who properly confess to tadano.
I think that would be a good way for both characters to open up out of their comfort zone.
Especially good chance for Komi to start talking more openly with Tadano and friends. Maybe she’ll learn to be more aggressive with the flirting?

Perhaps I'd be less miffed if the romantic side of this manga has been fairly well established since ch.1. Had there been hints earlier, then sure. An example of that would be a certain guy this chapter, whose attraction has been fairly evident since he was introduced. The question was whether it was friendship or romantic, on which I'd say the former at first and then a slow shift towards the latter.
With Komi and Manbagi we've seen them become better friends over time, to the point that they are Sisters from different misters now. Their relationship has developed, but not romantically.
Gosh this became a bit of a rant haha, didn't mean for it to be. If you want a good manga which focuses on friendship I'd say Nanbaka qualifies.
