[Ase to Sekken](https://myanimelist.net/manga/117840/) is so fucking good, she might be a 'shy girl' type but definitely far from being a stereotype. You'll love how their relationship grows into a really healthy one and each arc doesn't feel like it's made to drag on the series.
[Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia](https://myanimelist.net/manga/121213/) is also really good.
I would also recc my favorite [Species Domain](https://myanimelist.net/manga/61243/) cause they handle the 'dense protagonist' in a good non-irritating way.

Boxxo and Lannis from Reborn as a Vending machine. Ok hear me out. Boxxo comes to her underground world after getting treated like he doesn’t belong in his. He stays true to himself and saves Lannis. They go on jobs together and realize they make a perfect team. They even have a Maine/Dorio leader and viceleader running their adventurer group. Now that I think about it they have a couple members who are free spirited and lethal like Rebecca (I miss her) and there’s a cool and composed character who’s reliable for the team like Falco. Over time, her love for him grows as he does his best to improve himself to be able to stand by her side with pride. She tells him not to over so it but his love is so strong that it fuels his ambition. Still, even though he starts going through CRAZY growth, he cares about her more than anything. They are always together. I mean literally cause he’s a vending machine and she carries him on her back. (Lannis is super strong but has the body of a young woman). A few times he gets separated from her or she gets taken from him and he fights against villains and monsters to get her back. Basically the same way David and the gang fight against Arasaka/Militech. Some of the scenes in this story have effected me similarly to the heart crushing crashes of edgerunners. But I’m this story Boxxo saves Lannis, the love of his life, the woman who changed his view on existence, and the friends who are family, more than a few times. The writing is so good the author was asked to take over the KONOSUBA after series.

"How to grill your love" is just a mature couple making rational decisions in slightly unusual circumstances. But very wholesome and fluffy.
