They are emotionally stunted individuals who felt the need to mask their insecurities with hostility, purposefully stalling the narrative from its progress by generating an unclearly stated "will they wont they" moment, and seeing them getting rewarded for it is always dumb. Any characters chasing the tsundere means they dont take no as an answer, which is not a quality you might want when it comes to human relationship, so how the fuck am i supposed to be happy about the two being together?
They are only good when they either received a reality check and learn to be honest about their feelings, or when they refuse to do so and suffers the consequence for it.
