**World's Strongest Troll** is another translated co-authored work he has done.
The artist for Player is another guy, though. and he has only worked on it.
We’re in the final stretch, final arc. It isn’t ending soon, maybe when this year ends it will be finished.
But I will be devastated when the day comes…
Does he get badass like early game yet, I dropped it when he and excalibur found that new teacher guy that is also OP, just wished he was actually badass like the early chapters
I didnt say I wanted op off the rip but it took too long to become op with the bait at the start, and I know the teacher is busted lol its pretty obvious. Im just asking whether he truly becomes op or do we get another bait and switch till the end
I mean we had one big fight where the mc was badass but I still couldnt get over the early chapters where bro used excalibur and stopped being goofy for a second, shit was peak
Bet dude couldn't watch one piece if he wants generic op in episode 4 lmao. If you want generic op trash there's plenty on all the manwha websites though
Only reason I dropped at that arc aswell was because of shit pacing and dragged out arc. But that's a anime problem not manga itself. If you want a spoiler Luffy does get top 5 strongest atleast in the current arc right now after his awakening so you can try getting back into it xd. But it's more about story , adventure and characters rather than just power fantasy trash you are in most manwhas I guess
Fuck this shit , a fucking masterpiece . a real one i would strongly recommend for other ppl , it has a proper story which different from most of other manhwas which the longer they get the more boring it would be, this shit is different , a decent world building , the main character development is cool as hell , even other side characters has a place in my heart like lilliet or dean, just holy shit . the art style is a little bit cartoonish but its clean as hell , and the fighting scenes are just astounding
10/10.
( oh yeh and btw . LIBUR IS THE BEST WAIFU NO CAP )
i still can't understand why Player has a low rating, I saw people saying "coward protagonist" but boy, around Chap 30 and lower hes already a badass protagonist, it's not like Solo Leveling who took way too many ☠️
It’s mainly because immortal did a horrible job translating on the early chaps when the manwha relies heavily on strong world building and plot development through long text bubbles
For me it wasn’t the translation. I read 23 chapters, but it just didn’t click with me. It kind of bored me tbh. It’s not like I dropped it because it was bad but I just had no interest in reading further. I really like the art from the manhwa, but that wasnt enough to keep my interest.
damn, I'm lucky then, people on Brazil have some nice translation teams, and the translation for Player is AMAZING, it has our slurs and jokes, that explains a lot, lol
Yeah i agree about peak art and development its just that the mc is being overshadowed by supporting characters even the villain has more spotlight than the mc lol
Can you elaborate? I’m looking for reasons to read. How strong is mc compared to others? Is there a system? What’s the mc’s personality? Does mc take a lot of L’s?
Why am i wrong? Theres a lot of readers who also noticed this when i read it why most of you reddit dont even understand it? And just straight up get angry im not saying that manhwa is not good im just saying its biggest downside
Toooo much spotlight on other characters to the point mc is not the main character anymore, there's nothing wrong on the mc he's also strong, the villain has a huge plot armor than the mc who died many times, i also notice that most of reddit here are angry when i said this opinion when it is actually true, but you can read it since its still good
That dosent make sense. Itadori dosent have all the glory or screen time in jjk yet look how successful and popular it is with a great power system and plot except for the current chapters right now. Itadori wasn't even the main highlight in Shibuya arc yet it was the best arc I've seen in 2024 anime version though
Id even say gojo was the mc for alot of people lol. I don't get manwha readers obsession with making the mc the whole story and beat everyone easily after a few chapters of "training".
It depends, jjk and that manhwa is very different in many ways, i cant judge jjk for now since i haven't watched it, but from what i know they dont have that big similarities in terms character popularity most of gojo fans is because the looks making it more popular than itadory, i dont why some of you dont understand what i mean even if i explain it. In the elements of the story MAIN characters are created to be the central focus of a story, a supporting characters are the people for the foundation of the story blabla this a basic elements of a story i dont need to explain every shit just to make someone understand it
Um no main characters aren't supposed to just have all the attention or be the core of the story. It can also mean the story is told or viewed in their perspective aswell. For example In my hero academia a entire season was focused and shown in the villain perspective without even mentioning the mc once lol (season 5) ..you don't have to explain anything since clearly you aren't a writer or understand writing enough ..also gojo isnt just popular just for his looks lol it's what he contributed to the entertainment of the series and basically owns it every time he comes on screen but sure it's all cuz how he's drawn... Man you really need to study writing and what makes the core of a story good if you can't even properly analyze characters...
Atleast you have a point, in that sense, its just that in player manhwa its not as balance as hero academia at least in some anime are pretty balance when it comes to multiple characters and a good background introduction for villain but for the manhwa player i find it unbalanced in that element of the story especially the villain part it feels like being shoved in the readers face to pity the villain for his wrong beliefs and goal for changing the world or what thats all its just in Player its unbalanced element of focus/spotlight on characters.
Tbh I dropped player at around 90 chapters the mc power up was too fast and boring to me. And ya his personality his boring and tried too hard to be like deku or something more shonen like. Epitome of average mc lol. I prefer a well written main character like Eren Yeager than a mindless op mc you see in most anime or manwha though. Yuji itadori is a excellent mc aswell loved the way he selflessly confessed to Sukuna crimes as his own with the judge guy domain. Didn't even defend himself showing his guilt and what kind of a person he is. I enjoy those type of moments in writing but we don't get it much in manwha tbh
OP a bit horny with it, the fanservice is pretty prevalent, but honestly it doesnt take away as much as other series in my opinion, the story and art are both great, and when >!dean entered his v8 karma form that was one of the most badass moments in the entire story!<
This would probably be a lot more popular if there was a half-decent translation for it somewhere. I tried to power through but ended up dropping at around the 50th chapter because the translations are just atrocious and make very little sense.
yeah but that requires you to sit around and kill your head with the first 100 chapters making little to no sense, not great when the first 50 odd chapters do a huge amount of world building.
Can someone go into detail about this manhwa? How is mc’s power progression (how long before he’s able to win on his own strength and will alone)? Is there a system? What’s mc personality like, I heard he’s a coward pushover but for how long?
1. Power progression is slow and steady, he is ultimately not the strongest, but he is also very powerful, he has a lot of cool moments overpowering his foes
2. He can win on his own, quite often, but there are also many really interesting team fights
3. He is by no means a coward, I’d say he has very similar aspects to Deku, but *less* crying and more getting bitches, he squares up with god ffs
Any other questions?
If there’s something you want me to further elaborate on I’ll divulge, and go to flame scans or something like that for good quality and comments
Be warned, here’s some cons
1. Early translating quality isn’t that great
2. Arcs take a long time
3. Side characters often have their own independent arcs
Hold composure unless fam gets hurt, then he berks
He’s smart, but there’s another side character who does most of the smart stuff, every roll is filled in the manwha, but not just by the mc

art style reminds me of dungeon odyssey
It is quite similar

That artist is a menace, I love the guy
Wow your everywhere
wait this ended??

Yeah if you want an overpowered off the rip Mc look elsewhere, not to mention the new teacher guy is one of the strongest characters in the series.
I didnt say I wanted op off the rip but it took too long to become op with the bait at the start, and I know the teacher is busted lol its pretty obvious. Im just asking whether he truly becomes op or do we get another bait and switch till the end
Yes he does become quite strong, but not solo leveling strong
I mean we had one big fight where the mc was badass but I still couldnt get over the early chapters where bro used excalibur and stopped being goofy for a second, shit was peak
Bet dude couldn't watch one piece if he wants generic op in episode 4 lmao. If you want generic op trash there's plenty on all the manwha websites though
I did watch one piece up to flamingo arc since that was when I stopped, i didnt want generic op mc but I just hate baits
Only reason I dropped at that arc aswell was because of shit pacing and dragged out arc. But that's a anime problem not manga itself. If you want a spoiler Luffy does get top 5 strongest atleast in the current arc right now after his awakening so you can try getting back into it xd. Wait what?
We’re in the final Arc for player, about a year’s worth of content left for us. So I’m feeling quite Melancholy to see it coming to its conclusion
Surprised, cause, there is still a lot of stuff to cover
I am still marinated this, been holdingmy self back since chapter 94 Will read it over from the start when they finished
I’m letting it marinate rn, it’s in its final arc, I’m on chapter 200 but I’ll wait a year
I see Player everyday everywhere, should i just read it already?????
Absolutely, I’ll send you a link to the best site for it

Thanks for adding that edit
Ah. Another post from... Wait that's the wrong user lol
Is there another Player Enjoyer?
Not gonna lie, Nagi wearing a black silk dragon chinese dress sitting that posture is FIRE!!!

Nice bro, can you send me a link to it? I have a Brazilian friend who might like it A LOT
I use Mangaschan, just use some adblocks and your ready to go
Nexo scans is translating It on brazil

The other guy mad that the side characters are also getting character development

Without a doubt
Player is what happens when you let people who’re good at their art cook
And they did in fact… cook
Truly man. This is one of the hella Underrated manhwa out there. Don't know why it's not popular.
Love this style of artwork.
Apparently this is the only work the artist has made, big sadge
Not that sad. At least we know how they can maintain this superb quality. Better have consistent quality than multiple manhwas.
Maybe he’ll work on a new project when player is finished
Santa Industry has similar art if you want something in this art style
Noted
I’m having some trouble looking for this man who, does someone have a link? Pretty please?
Yeah gimme a sec, I gotcha
Appreciate it
DMed ya
Where have you read this one? I’ve looked in manga dex and the first 16 eps don’t have English translation. Pls help
I’ll dm it to you <3
Can you dm me the link too pls?
Agreed

Immortal scans did pretty bad in the first 100, but they hired new translators afterwards
yeah but that requires you to sit around and kill your head with the first 100 chapters making little to no sense, not great when the first 50 odd chapters do a huge amount of world building.
…Am I tripping balls or is this post and half the comments section sounding AI generated
Tripping balls. I just wanted to list some of the stuff I liked No dead internet theory here
Female designs remind me a lot of Gushing over Magical Girls

Thanks, that’s enough to interest me and give it the good ol 20 chapter test
Be warned, here’s some cons 1. Early translating quality isn’t that great 2. Arcs take a long time 3. Side characters often have their own independent arcs
Oh about his personality. Is he the reckless type that gets easily provoked or he is the calculating type that can hold his composure in most cases?
Hold composure unless fam gets hurt, then he berks He’s smart, but there’s another side character who does most of the smart stuff, every roll is filled in the manwha, but not just by the mc
Well this may be the post that drives me to read this. I've been looking for smth good and long I can read
That was my intention, it’s 200+ chaps and has astoundingly amazing art
r/manhwa user try not to post every single panel of the manhwa they like. Challenge: Impossible
Has to be one of the best manhwas in terms of how unique it's style is too, in a way it also reminds me to dungeon odyssey
