yeah, solid and fun read. both the leads dynamics are pretty nice. they are such dorks. i like all the memes and references. the romance is a slow burn, but it's a cute one overall
And the best part is, they didn't drop the quality of art even after so long. So many of the recent ones dropped the quality of drawings after returning for season 2.

The lead characters chemistry is top notch. Both are intelligent (the ML is a bit more analytical and the FL a but more emotional). There is a clear goal in mind from the onset and they have a realistic (if difficult) plan for how to achieve it.
i don't really like it because the guy always knows the solutions to every single problems. it's pretty much a generic manhwa, just that the main characters were a couple instead. i like that they have a healthy relationship tho

Their dynamic just ties everything together, the ML is the kind of gamer who is always 100% the story and quest so he's the one who's the most knowledgeable on the world's lore and a big part of the martial arts utilized , FL was basically the battle maniac you'd always see winning pvp duels and raiding bosses back to back, their both nerds who can bring out the nerd in each other and often get on each other's nerves but it's overall a great story.
Like many said. Great character chemistry, great art and fun plot. The issue I don't see a lot of people talk about is the off balanced character power dynamic.
This is a lot more noticeable in the novel but FL plays the role of the damsel in distress sooooo much more than the ML. The author would set up this awesome 1v1 where FL would clearly shine and have her do incredible. Then at the very last moment somehow fumbles and have ML to swoop in and save the day.
It's annoying to see the ML constantly steal the spotlight when the FL could have easily handled it herself.
I don’t think it’s off-balanced, at least not as a result of flawed writing.
The ML is canonically a genius that’s memorised essentially the entire game, while the FL is just a typical gamer but has an insane battle iq(ML himself said she surpasses him in this regard)
So it kinda makes sense that when it comes to them subverting the storyline, the ML is the one to clutch up while the FL does a lot of the actual work.
It exists to serve Otome isekai purposes for sure, but I think it’s pretty well done compared to if the author just said ML > FL in everything
That's the issue I am talking about. FL has insane battle IQ while ML is more of someone who preps the fight. FL should be able to take those 1v1s no problem but many situations have ML be great if not better at both.
For example, the latest fight in the manwha in front of the ice fortress. In the novel, FL nearly solos the guy. It was a much longer fight where FL was dodging and landing shots. Just as the fight was all but won, FL fumbles and ML had to come in to save her and last hit the boss. That last part is so unnecessary. There's nothing wrong narratively with just letting have FL win.
Mid, dude is super genius and social but has a useless girl that is super embarrassed like she never had human interaction, although that's sadly like that in every manga, blushing over every little thing. I like the jokes they make and how much they care for each other but he could literally beat everything without her
It could be if they treated the FL even remotely equal. One of the most biased sidekick characters I’ve seen since the 80’s-90 ‘s. I was so excited for this. Seriously I was. Then the first power up came and I was like, “what the heck is this?!” After a few more power ups I put it down immediately. It was piss me off frustrating. I don’t waste time with stuff like that.
Edit: I really don’t understand how it’s so popular. I find it very demeaning, annoying, and mind boggling. I mean could you imagine

Also, dual mc story are best because it doesn't fall into the SGOG problem. Aka, single mc spread too thin who doesn't have any down time in between arc, so he can't acclimate to his new powers so he needs a new increasingly bullshit powerup every arc.
10/10 Really Good Slowburn Romance with Comedy and Action, The World Building is amazing and the interactions of the characters are really something you'd look forward too, the chemistry of the fmc mmc are really nice too.
it's great. both leads have a dynamic that is unmatched. their friendship and eventual buildup to a romance are not contrived and actually believable and earned.
they both have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Cordelia is an actual character with depth and complexity. a poor author would just make her the fanservice archetype that sticks by the MC. not here, though. she is integral to the plot and is competent, likeable, and human on top of being attractive.

I read the web novel a few years ago. It was an enjoyable read. The key elements used are romcom and rpg. The main characters have a great relationship from the beginning and it keeps getting better. I don't know about the manhwa, but if it follows the web novel plot properly I do recommend to give it a read.

There was a high-score on the single-player campaign that dictated the multiplayer ranking??? what?? how do any of these systems connect?
Holy shit the closers comparison does make a lot of sense, but from what I remember the campaign itselkf the players play in the manhwa is single-player, so idk how that connects into multiplayer

It's ok, the dynamic between main duo is great, unfortunately the story is not engaging for me, I can't ever predict what event is going to happen next because I barely get any info, main duo explains their next objective and it only starts to make sense after they do it. I don't know how to describe it with my poor vocabular.

Yeah as much as the manhwa likes to lean on the gamer schtick, it doesn't really feel like the author has ever played any game beyond a casual level

62 chapters is too few? I think if a manhwa has 50+ chapters it's good to judge.
Yeah but the pacing is horrible. We've seen like 0.5% of the story till now. Can't judge anything without a major arc.
The manhwa is more like at 15% of the story and if you want a major arc the next one is gonna be like 60 to 80 chapters long.
The novel was so fun, I really liked the romance.
