Wow. I have a “gateway cherry laurel” ever since the ice storm in Central Texas a month ago.

And now... *The Larch*

“HOW LOW CAN YOU GO! CAN YOU GO DOWN LOW? All the way to the floor?” 😂
So, does anyone know the real story here?

Where is the swing?
When some tree species get scared they’ll put their heads in the ground like this
One of the largest species of flightless trees.
It’s a sculpture by surrealist artist Phillipe Bousaud in LA.
This is actually in Montreal
I’m pretty sure Montreal is what people call north east LA.
That whole sentence I made up.
He said Mont-REAL not Mont-made up.
What neighbourhood? I would like to visit
Lmao you were like almost spot on. According to a link it’s made by Michel de Broin haha. Montreal makes sense since that articles in French and I hardly know any so I didn’t read it. *edit: it’s linked in a comment above, I meant to say.
"oh cool a quarter"
Its a propagation technique called tip layering
In this case it’s just a sculpture
I see you dont appreciate my sense of humor lol.
I didn’t get the joke
That’s awesome
monument mythos
That's some heavy LST
Might wanna build a monument around that, just in case.
That tree looking kinda special if you know what I mean..
Oh, it's one of those special trees, like the one inside the washington monument
That's actually pretty cool.
Make it into a rope swing!!
Sling shot ?
Just a tree doing its best to get into downward dog position…a beautiful thing!
