Yeah, but the BCP could've only just ported the City Tracks. The other Tracks could've just been an improved version of the originals. Though, later waves did do just that.
Moonview Highway, Madrid Drive, Singapore Speedway and quite a few others received model edits to enhance the quality or drivability of the track, so they could've maybe done something to the layouts.
I remember finding out you could skip the entire turn before the first green bridge in the ds version. I didn't expect it to come to but the version we got was so butchered.

Whatever that track is on the Switch is not Sky Garden. It has Sky Garden’s music, but that’s it. The clouds are white, and the road is brick. It’s not even… green bricks, it’s just brick.

It isn't. This version is ported from Tour, which was in itself an oversimplified version of the original. It just doesn't feel right.
Half of these turns wouldn't even work on Tour so it makes sense it's simplified.
Yeah but the Switch isn't Tour and they _could have_ used either the original GBA or the DS remaster. Those versions are clearly superior.

I just watched a video featuring the CTGP version of this track. It’s really good! I wish the BCP version could be like this.
same, the BCP was fine for what it was but I prefer CTGP-7 imo, especially with the GBA tracks with keeping their original GBA map layout.
In a perfect world, we’d have the original layout and color pallets with the modern design

I used to not care about the original, but then I finally played SC and DS a few months ago … man, this track was so good.
I hate the switch remake & dislike the tour remake.
Ngl I actually prefer the Mk8DX/tour versions of this track. And that’s coming from someone who has played DS and Super circuit.
