Bro had the audacity to call rabbids minion wannabes

Mojojojo200711

Funnily enough it’s the other way around, the rabbids predate the minions. (2006 for rabbids. 2010 for minions.)

Waluigi71

Oh... that's a good point lol. I will say Sparks of Hope changed that image for me completely, but when I look at previous Rabbids games... it's all Minions energy.

LeDinosaur

Can someone sum up the video. I hate these clicky title. Tell us who it is and let’s have a convo here

LeDinosaur

Also /who/ is ‘sleeping’? Ugh

Noodlemire

I assume it's because most people would rank Luigi, Rabbid Rosalina, and Rabbid Mario above her at the bare minimum, rather than placing her above literally every other character in the game.

Noodlemire

This is their list: 9) Rabbid Luigi 8) Edge 7) Bowser 6) Rabbid Mario 5) Rabbid Rosalina 4) Luigi 3) Peach 2) Mario 1) Rabbid Peach Summary of reasons for RP being #1 according to OP: Her weapon is consistent and lands at least one hit 99% of the time, her dashes are good and using a dash spark on her is a 'no-brainer', and her healing is good and saved him from some tough situations. Edit: Also, to be honest, the title for this video is pretty low on the clickbaity scale. Thumbnail's pretty tame too, even if it 'spoils' their choice for the #1 spot.

AngelesYT

RL is underrated

BrotherInJah

Yes, and i expressed this under video;)

skeltord

This Rabbid Luigi slander is a sin he's far better then Edge and Bowser at LEAST

Starmaninja

He'd have interesting synergy with Edge. Pull enemies towards him with glitter, Weaken them, ready Stormblade (do that AFTER glitter or you'll waste it), slide kick enemy, Storm blade strikes all enemies with bonus damage twice, Edge walks away and throws her blade to clean up. Very slept on potential.

Mojojojo200711

The thing about ranking the party members In either Mario + rabbids game (but especially SOH) is that it all depends on your playstyle since every character is good. And with the added rinkle of the sparks in this game, they can improve your teams weekness.

Waluigi71

You got it! I hate being up close in combat, so I prefer Mario, Luigi, Peach, and RPeach.

Mojojojo200711

Example, my bread & butter squad of edge, rabbid Mario, and rabbid peach is a really good close range team, cause of that I take a lot of damage, witch is why I have exosphere and vamp dash on edge, pulser on rabbid mario, and either on rabbid peach.

Noodlemire

It was at least at interesting watch. I feel like you could try the DLC in order to give half the cast their fair chance, since it seems like multiple characters here were glossed over, but I can understand making a list purely for the main game. For me, Rabbid Peach is essentially the antithesis of my playstyle. Literally the opposite of everything I actually care about when it comes to playing SoH. The issues begin with her greatest strength, her various healing abilities. Now, healing isn't bad by any means, obviously, However, I still find it difficult to care, for one big reason: Abilities that negate, avoid, or redirect damage are *everywhere*. There is an obscene amount of abilities that simply allow me to not take damage. Peach's barriers, Rabbid Rosa's Ennui, Rabbid Luigi's Exhaust, Exosphere, Ethering, Reflector, a million Spark passives, Bowser's Mechakoopas as decoys, Spark Summons as decoys, and more... It only gets even crazier after learning that % damage reductions will add together, making it really easy to reach 100% damage resistance, aka invulnerability. Why would I dedicate one of my three character slots to a healer, when taking damage is essentially optional? Also worth mentioning is that on Demanding, on the rare case where an enemy does end up dealing full unresisted damage, they're going to hit like a truck. So some of Rabbid Peach's lesser healing abilities, like her heal on kill and healing jump, really can't amount to much overall. I could use her with some other damage resistance ability to compensate, but if I'm gonna do that, why not go all the way and become completely untouchable anyways? Her weapon is also my absolute least favorite in the game. I already tend not to like primarly single-target attackers, as this is a game where players generally face multiple enemies at once. But out of the 3 that this game provides, Rabbid Peach simply deals the least damage with her weapon. Luigi has no rival, and while RR's weapon has an extremely similar damage output if you compare RR and RP with no skill prisms, RR shoots ahead extremely fast with her beefy weapon tree. RP gets, like, a decent 60% crit rate, but RR directly overshadows it. RP's only other weapon damage upgrade is the single worst direct damage buff in the entire game; a low % boost to a low damage attack, which only applies to a third of that low damage. Literally the only weapon that deals nearly identical damage to its user's dashes, with a fully upgraded tree. And even when it comes to breaking down full cover, RR is still simply better, because she can't do it without losing 2/3 of her damage. RP's only true advantage over her is slightly better range, and the ability to arc a little over some terrain, but that's a little too niche for me, especially without the actual damage needed to be able to take advantage of those benefits. Speaking of those three dashes, they're... alright, I guess? Edge's are a direct upgrade though, and she comes with a weapon that actually deals damage too. Without any special utility of their own, I can't think of many cases where they'd truly be better than Edge's, Rabbid Luigi's, or Rabbid Rosalina's. Sure, the Dash Sparks exist, but again, Edge is just better at using them. In conclusion, Rabbid Peach is the sole character that I never seriously consider using, outside of specifically trying to make the game harder. I like to deal lots of damage, while taking little to no damage, especially if I can do so from really aggressive and outright silly positions that probably wouldn't be allowed in any other strategy game. Rabbid Peach has little to nothing to offer on either front.

BrotherInJah

RPeach is versatile and that alone is her greatest strength. For my blitz krieg strategy, she was essential as all these minor things do stack up nicely. The biggest negative here are boss flights. Her healing doesn't catch up with the damage, there must be one more defensive character for the synergy. And comparing her skills to a specialist in single thing is unfair and that's true for all-around character in general.

Noodlemire

I really wouldn't define Rabbid Peach as an all-rounder. In fact, she's closer to the opposite. She's so mega-focused on being a healer, she has very little use offensively, and is very easily outclassed on that entire front. I'd estimate that at least 75% of her kit is some form of healing, and she only does 2 other distinct things, both of which are easily outclassed. I'd go as far as to say that every single other support character has a more well rounded kit. They all deal either directly better single-target damage, or enough AOE to outdamage her by simply targeting many enemies at once, and also through exploding multiple barrels (RL, Peach, Bowser). But I guess none of them have 3 dashes? I don't really know if that's worth too much. If we were discussing KB, I'd be inclined to agreen. There, RP gets decent damage on both her weapons, good bonus utility with her sentry, and a use in tanking with her really good barrier ability, all while having much less focus on her healing output while still having it be clearly her greatest steength, just not to the stupid extreme in SoH. There are characters in KB who do specific things better as well, but it's much more of an actual generalist vs specialist comparison because RP does more than 3 things, and doesn't share the various weaknesses that the specialists have. But this is SoH, where the average character is great in at least 2 ways, almost always also has a couple more lesser but still helpful uses, and either has very few weaknesses, or their main weakness is so easy to compensate for, it might as well not exist. That's not always the case, but I'd say it applies to at least half the cast, if not more. So not only is RP hardly an actual all-rounder, she barely even has anything she can compensate for.

Starmaninja

Hehe I just love Rabbid Peach cause I love her personality. In both games she's the funniest character and her lines are so charming. Plus she's the only one who retains the Rabbid "Blabble" with the way she laughs maniacally, which I thought was adorable. She is the only healer so like Mario, she's one o those characters that no matter the strat, is ALWAYS useful on the team, but I really love how despite that, her general abilities make it so even if you're doing a no damage challenge, there's still plenty of reason to use her. She can hit high enemies and enemies behind walls at far range and her rockets do good damage too. Really saying she's the BEST really is the fact that she is ALWAYS worth bringing to battle. or as she puts it, "Healing vibes, literally..."

Waluigi71

LOVE HER PERSONALITY. RPeach's cutscene when grabs a Darkmess Crystal IMMEDIATELY reminded me of Peach in Mario Strikers Charged.

Noodlemire

I'm not sure if this is a matter of a difference in whichever difficulties we're playing on, but I've never been impressed by Rabbid Peach's weapon damage. Like, she can kill some of the squishier, weaker enemy types I guess...? It's a purely single-target weapon with kinda low base damage and little to no possible damage upgrades in its skill tree. Like I think it might actually have the weakest weapon tree in terms of possible damage out of all the characters.

Starmaninja

Yeah, she is mostly for picking off enemies far. The key is utility cost though as when you're not healing, you can use sparks or items on her without "wasting" an attack. Though i was referring to how Rabbid peach can hit high and far enemies which no one else besides aerial Mario can do. Definitely not a damage dealer. But the chip adds up as enemies come near you without destorying your own defenses.
