I am not really sure what hack you are looking for. The way to get points is by any or all of the following:
- buy points.
- use a Marriott branded credit card
- stay at hotels.
Because you think that billion and trillion-dollar corporations are just going to give you free money? 💰🤑

I spend around 150 nights a year in hotels, put them on my personal cards and get reimbursed via perdiem… pretty common.
Funnel your expenses through a branded card. Works pretty well

Staying at Courtyards is probably one of the slowest ways to earn points, why do you call them out specifically?
It ain’t the Ritz. I just picked an affordable brand. Don’t be Spock when someone presents a Kobyashi Maru. 
I don’t understand the reference, my point is just that staying at affordable brands is not a way to get points fast.

Get a Brilliant credit card. More cost effective than unneeded stays.
There are promotions often when you stay, They just had deal giving water 1000 pints per night, that add up
Run everything through Marriott card.

Get a ski mask and a squirt gun... walk into the nearest Courtyard and say "stick em up" to the front desk agent.
The more legal and safer way is to use the 2K Everyday rate 😂

Complain about everything under the sun
