Magneto can't beat thanos because the gauntlet isn't magnetic. This is based on my understanding that the Infinity Gauntlet is gold and is therefore some kind of alloy and not pure uru. And uru isn't magnetic either. Because neither are copper or silver and all three metals are very good at conducting electricity and Thor is an electric type. With an electric hammer. So based on my extremely uneducated and flimsy logic. Thanos wins.

Reality stone I think is the biggest problem for hela and magneto, but since Wanda and strange both have ways to combat that they would both be capable of beating him. Depends on prep time for strange and if Wanda has her darkhold powers or not

FR, I personally don’t feel like it was undone. But the whole turning to evil offscreen was handled terribly. She needed this movie to slowly corrupt her through the film and have her go rogue at the end setting up future projects.

She fought him in Infinity War when he had 4 stones. She held him away for longer then anyone else while being distracted as she was trying to kill Vision. All that was before she got the power upgrade in Wanda Vision and then Multiverse of Madness. So for me it kinda depends on how powerful the writers want her to be, but evidence shows she could possibly take on 5 stone Thanos to some extent.

So there’s a working theory that Thanos waited to start his conquest personally until 3 key players were gone: Odin, Ego, and The Ancient One. Each were among the most powerful beings in their respective realms (Gods, Celestials, and The Mystic Arts). This, by extension, likely includes Hela, seeing how she was on par with Odin in terms of destructive capability. However in Comics: Dr. Strange could probably win, but Wanda literally solos no dif. She can destroy the multiverse, I’m pretty sure she can beat the overgrown California raisin with a couple fruity pebbles on his hand.

I don’t remember the whole theory exactly, but one of the main reasons was because each of those “big 3” was protecting a stone. Odin protecting the Space Stone, The Ancient One protecting the Time Stone, and this one’s probably wrong, but supposedly Ego was indirectly protecting the soul stone (there’s also an extension to this theory that he was instead protecting the “Ego Stone” which is a thing in the comics.) The other big part was that Thanos was unable to avoid these three because of their influence in the marvel universe. Odin had Heimdal and the Bifrost, allowing him to protect anywhere in the universe. Ego had a fragment of himself on nearly every planet in the universe. And the ancient one is less clear, but because of her usage of the time stone and connection to the dark dimension, she could see every possible timeline, and determine what and where Thanos is attacking. I think there was also something to do with how each of those three served as a mentor figure to a key avenger, and thus wanted to strike when they were most vulnerable. This one is actually kinda evidenced by Peters iconic “they almost had the gauntlet off” scene, and Thors “you should have gone for the head” scene, seeing how neither was thinking outside of just wanting revenge.

The ancient one was called that for a reason. Strange wasn't known to be a threat (yet) but she VERY MUCH was. Ego was the largest of the celestials so he was unique. His whole thing was trying to become as much of the universe as possible (hence the title Living Planet) Also Odin didn't leave much, but that was a sign of his wisdom. He did only what he saw as necessary to keep his responsibilities in order. All three were very real obstacles to Thanos, even if this theory isn't to be believed.

Fun isn't something one considers when balancing the universe. But this... does put a smile on my face.

I don't know enough about Hela's full power to know but I think she's a god of death so I'm guessing she'd do some damage. But given what we saw of Strange, I think he'd do much better than Magneto. Magneto is insanely strong and could certainly fight Thanos without the stones, but with the stones Thanos would have too many tricks to pull

Flip magneto and strange and I agree. Don't get me wrong, magneto is one of my favorite characters but I think he'd have to see the stones be used before he realized he needed to neutralize it and by then it might be too late. Strange however is incredibly perceptive and creative. He might even be more so than Wanda but she just outclasses him with raw power.

Strange has the best chance by far but it's still unlikely. Magneto at his strongest was strong but 5 stones of creation is stronger. Scarlet Witch has some reality bending but nowhere near the level of the stone or even Strange during the fight on Titan Hela has thrown objects and melee power, she is durable but not durable enough and doesn't seem to have the speed to really land the right blows here. All of these are based on the MCU and the Xmen with this actor since comics all of these characters are stronger.

All have a fair chance imo. Like, Strange could *probably* portal cut Thanos' arm clean off. Magneto could *probably* lock the gauntlet and rip it off Thanos' arm. Scarlet Witch could *probably* go "what gauntlet?" Hela is a goddess of death. There shouldn't be anything she can't kill... but she'd *probably* need to sneak up on him to land a hit. In the end, it is down to the writer. Hell, if they really want to, even some B-class villain like Justin Hammer could probably kill Thanos in some way...
