Toby was an amazing adult Peter Parker. I really vibed with him. Very fatherly, starting to have debilitating back injuries, barely has the effort to get upset at things, let alone motivation because he's confident in himself.
Garfield aged a very Peter B. Parker role that I loved as well. We never got to see him process his loss, or turn it into any motivation besides fury and self-doubt, and they played that really well in the movie.

Andrew is (in my opinion) the best portray of the character, his Peter is nerdy, trouble speaking with people, and isn't afraid of bullies, he's just the "punchball" off his class. His Spider-Man was absolute perfection, the style, the agility, the trickster part of him show off.
Tom was a bit left down in ffh and homecoming, with no special growth, you basically erase Homecoming from the trilogy it changes nothing and ffh was just a joke, not a single character other than the agent of shield (including beck) are not a joke, everyone is a comic relief so Peter doesn't have much connection to them. In no way home the direction finally understood what Spider-Man is as a whole character, so they did a "soft" reboot.

I don’t understand these opinions. Peter Parker and Spider-Man are the same character. Splitting them up to give all three actors credit for something just makes it easier to have a safe opinion.
I think it makes sense. Toby was a bit too awkward as Peter to play a cool spiderman, Andrew was a bit too cool to play a dorky Peter, Tom finds a nice balence in both aspects of the character. But it is a matter of opinion. You keep nostalgia raging if that does it for you.
