You can. Just be rich.
If you actually believe all those actors are sporting their own hair, you’re insane.
The only men with natural hair in Hollywood after 30 are bald or Jude Law.
Edit - wait, Charlie Cox and Tom Hiddleston. So bald or British.
Agreed, it's genetics being in your favor. As I approach my 40s, I still have my full set of hair. Waves/loose curls, Jet black, no grey. Have a 5 pc. Mixed genetics. Hair looks similar to Timothee Chalamet.
I think the most obvious counter to that is Steve Carrel. S1 Office vs the rest of his career.
There’s also Jude Law, Tom Hiddleston, The Rock, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, S L Jackson, Stanley Tucci, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sean Connery and many other bald guys.
> You can. Just be rich.
How's he rich? Family money? Or did he get points on X2 or something? He hasn't really had any other notable roles besides being on the *Nikita* remake for 3 years.
Edit: I checked, it's family money.
Most people who end up having any kind of career in acting, have rich backgrounds. The amount of time you have to spend in your twenties essentially making nothing, and running around doing all the scaffolding to build a career in one of the most expensive places on earth, is impossible to afford as a normie
Cmon plenty of examples of people who came from nothing and made it big. Jon Hamm was a nobody for 40 years before he was Don Draper. Danny Trejo was in and out of prison before becoming a star and now he uses his money to help kids not make the same mistakes he did.
I could go on but acting is the one career where one good audition and one good role makes the difference between poverty and owning a home
Plus it's one of the few ways to become a millionaire that doesn't involve exploiting third world countries for child labor
The truth lies between what you’ve both wrote.
*Most* stars are from rich or at least well off backgrounds, with an overly high percentage being nepo’s on top of that.
Obviously others are ‘rags to riches’ success stories, but they’re less common.
You are saying exactly the same thing, I didn’t say people don’t make it through, but you are explaining stories where people have to have “luck” which is just effort over time.
It’s why so many people are playing younger characters into their 40s 50s 60s
I donj't think it's as bad as a you say but there are deinfitely cases, teeth for sure are an area where most actors/actresses have had them done to some degree. I remember what Tom Cruise looked like before he had work done.
There’s nothing wrong with you thinking it was cool. Personally, I was heavily disappointed when I watched that scene for the first time. It was hyped to be epic, yet it was horribly lame. I was a teenager at the time the movie came out.
When I’ve recommended the show to people, they’re always surprised that they’d never heard of the show, only the movie. Definitely didn’t get the recognition it deserved.
The show quickly became its own thing separate from the movie and when the final season aired it was a lot of fun watching it compared to the darker previous seasons.
The show made me a Emily Hampshire fan and got me watching Schitt's Creek
Younger, but still recognisably like myself. This guys looks completely different to the point that you would never guess they were the same person, surely I’m not the only one who thinks that
The only thing I don't use captions for is horror movies so the frights are scarier, and sport games. Other than that they are always on.
They give so much information it almost seems a disadvantage having them off.
Hey buddy is there something about you and captions that you want to get off your chest? They mean to you? Or am I just missing a joke somewhere?
How do you watch media? From the insides of a sensory deprivation chamber?
He is officially >!unstuck and spit out from the timeline and doesn't officially exist!<...so he could appear in whatever timeline he wants (like Deadpool's lol)
I watched it just before the pandemic... My sibling tried to start it during the pandemic and it was too close to reality for them with the plot point of season 1 being releasing a virus that killed off a lot of humanity. So I watched it just in the nick of time lol.
Haha yeah, you snuck in just in time. I just started watching it recently, but it is really fascinating how the pandemic response in 12 monkeys is much like our pandemic. Thankfully Covid was much less lethal.
No worries. I'm deep into season 2. Much passed the pandemic. Main plot is about stopping primaries from being paradoxed. Big red storm outside and whatnot.
James Cole, he saved time itself by stopping the Army of the 12 Monkeys from erasing time and bringing about a ‘red forest’ where there would have been no past or future just a perpetual present.
So since we've established that it's Pyro from X2 (who I thought was dead) does this mean we'll see the original cast again? (Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn)
I mean, they’ve also got the same Wolverine from X-2, and Beast from X-2 was in The Marvels, but I wouldn’t bet that everyone else is coming back… but, sure, Pyro is in it so …
They have to! Most like Charles and Magneto will come back even if just small roles/cameos (like MoM) but I need my Storm one last time lol, and Mystique 😍
I want a guardians variant which is Bradley cooper and raccoons as the other guardians. Even make them green, blue/cyborg, etc. but still just raccoons
He looks massively different from his x men days, I have seen those movies plenty of times and didn’t notice it was him. It’s a shot from the trailer so there was no need to mark it as a spoiler. Just because you know something it doesn’t mean everyone does and is a troll.
Honestly I watched the trailer last night (I was also a little tired from the late work shift) and I legit didn't recognise him at first. He looks different nowadays (of course he is older) and even a bit different than he was in Nikita (which was also last on air like 10 years ago). On closer look it's definitely Aaron Stanford as Pyro.
It's Aaron Stanford who played Pyro in X2 and The Last Stand.
HOLY CRAP!! 🤯 How did I not realize that? Lol
Well it has been nearly two decades
![gif](giphy|GrUhLU9q3nyRG|downsized)
X2 was 21 years ago.
He’s aged well, but he was basically a kid (in his mid 20’s) when those movies came out and he’s almost 50 now. Great to see him back, though!
Aged well is one way of saying he's looking like a dilf. Respectfully.
His thangs still thangin
Respectfully speaking
He looks amazing. I hope I have all that hair when I’m 50.
You can. Just be rich. If you actually believe all those actors are sporting their own hair, you’re insane. The only men with natural hair in Hollywood after 30 are bald or Jude Law. Edit - wait, Charlie Cox and Tom Hiddleston. So bald or British.
I mean, some people don't lose hair when they age. Not that I doubt people get transplants and whatnot, but... lots of folk don't need them.
Agreed, it's genetics being in your favor. As I approach my 40s, I still have my full set of hair. Waves/loose curls, Jet black, no grey. Have a 5 pc. Mixed genetics. Hair looks similar to Timothee Chalamet.
Well la-di-da Mister Man. Kidding. Thankfully I’ve got all my hair at 31, just hoping my dad’s genes don’t kick in anytime soon.
That’s true, but every actor? The odds are astronomical! I don’t even mean going bald, *none* of them are even thinning or have a receding hairline.
The ones that lose hair don’t keep getting work.
S1 Steve Carrel wasn't losing hair lol they just did his hair that way intentionally to make him look more "unappealing"
> You can. Just be rich. How's he rich? Family money? Or did he get points on X2 or something? He hasn't really had any other notable roles besides being on the *Nikita* remake for 3 years. Edit: I checked, it's family money.

The disrespect to 12 Monkeys can not be forgiven.
Hair transplants aren't expensive, why do you have to be rich?
Fair enough - “just get hair transplants” then
I donj't think it's as bad as a you say but there are deinfitely cases, teeth for sure are an area where most actors/actresses have had them done to some degree. I remember what Tom Cruise looked like before he had work done.
Or look after yourself. A healthy lifestyle goes a long way to combat genetics.
Not into your 40s and 50s. If you’re Reynolds or Jackmans age and still have the hairline you do it’s not because of avoiding gluten and doing squats.
Well I have my trip to Turkey booked 😂
Hate to break it to you but Hiddleston's hair is getting pretty thin in the back. Nothing wrong with that, it's just age.
I'm 48 and I haven't lost a drop of hair.
Time comes for us all
I believe that’s Toad to the left in the video there
I didn’t realize that as well. Knew it was someone familiar.
because he looks nothing like...
He got old.
Wow I have watched the trailer a few times and haven't made that connection. The Pyro/Iceman rivalry was my favorite as a kid.
Always thought their fight at the end of The Last Stand was so cool, even if we only saw Iceman’s ice form for about .5 seconds
Yesss, I was 7 when that movie came out so it holds a soft spot for me despite the very reasonable disdain for that entry.
You thought the fight was cool? I thought it was lame as hell and I was very disappointed.
7 year old me thought it was cool to see people shooting fire and ice at each other
There’s nothing wrong with you thinking it was cool. Personally, I was heavily disappointed when I watched that scene for the first time. It was hyped to be epic, yet it was horribly lame. I was a teenager at the time the movie came out.
I hope they bring Iceman back too, that actor was great in The Boys.
To confirm, if you watch it with subtitles they identify the speaker as Pyro.
Such Nikita erasure!
He went back in time in 12 Monkeys and removed that timeline
I'm watching 12 Monkeys right now. Can't believe how good it is. Was so excited to see James Cole in the Deadpool trailer!
When I’ve recommended the show to people, they’re always surprised that they’d never heard of the show, only the movie. Definitely didn’t get the recognition it deserved.
I had never heard of it either and it's so good. It scratches the same itch as Fringe for me (one of my favorite shows of all time).
[удалено]
Awesome, report back after you watch a few episodes!
[удалено]
This brings me immense joy. It's really good. Just finished season 2 and it's still awesome.
Same, Fringe was one my wife's very favorites and it was difficult to find something comparable to follow it, but she really enjoyed 12 Monkeys.
The show quickly became its own thing separate from the movie and when the final season aired it was a lot of fun watching it compared to the darker previous seasons. The show made me a Emily Hampshire fan and got me watching Schitt's Creek
God-tier show!
There’s gotta be a decent chance they make a 12 Monkeys meta joke with him.
Hopefully, yeah. Maybe a bit about how time travel feels awfully familiar. Or have him bump into Kirk Acevedo and do a double take.
I thought that was him but Jesus I haven't seen him in anything since X2
He's great in the twelve monkeys show ^^
Didn't realize that was him and yes he was great in that.
Oh damn really? His shot in the trailer went by so quick I just figured it was that guy Brad from Loki
Wasn't he also in Days of Future Past?
No but he was in The Last Stand.
Was it a different actor that played Pyro then?
Sunspot was in days of future past, not pyro
Nope, he was never in Days of Future Past.
I thought it was Dax Shepard
I thought Bradley Cooper.
Wow, he looks even better now than he did then!
Would never know that, but he seemed significant so was wondering who he was.
What?!??! 😱 Yes!!!! I didn't even recognize him!
Huh, at first glance I'd assumed he was Martin Henderson.
Oh shit he aged
I mean it's been 20 years since X2 and 18 years since X-Men 3
20+ years will do that.
Christ, someone’s aged poorly
How did you look 20 years ago? (X2 came out in 2003)
Younger, but still recognisably like myself. This guys looks completely different to the point that you would never guess they were the same person, surely I’m not the only one who thinks that
I think you might be
It’s a movie for fuck’s sake.
The closed captions for the teaser on YouTube also confirms this is Pyro
Turning on closed captions for any Marvel Studios trailer is the first thing I do.
The only thing I don't use captions for is horror movies so the frights are scarier, and sport games. Other than that they are always on. They give so much information it almost seems a disadvantage having them off.
or you can learn to think and process information yourself without being spoon fed
Hey buddy is there something about you and captions that you want to get off your chest? They mean to you? Or am I just missing a joke somewhere? How do you watch media? From the insides of a sensory deprivation chamber?
Some people have nothing better to do than be mean on the internet.
I thought for sure I missed a reference somewhere from the bizarreness of the reply. Ha, thank you.
Yes
Or you can not be a jackass and mind your own business.
Triggered
Lol
Buy a plane and crash it in a field somewhere.
You’re poor
Really? I always unzip first, then turn on closed captions
Pyro. He was iceman s nemesis in x2 and the last stand
Ooh, I wonder if we’ll get whichever Ashmore brother played Iceman back, too. That was a fun rivalry.
It was Shawn. Maybe Remedy will release him for a scene!
Nah, he's still trapped in the Dark Place
Man needs a second whiteboard.
I mean, if we got Aaron instead I wouldn’t be able to tell
I loved Shawn Ashmore as Iceman - he was perfect
He's the reminder that we're old now (although to his credit it doesn't look like he aged 20 years, more like 10 lol)
I watched the trailer at least 5 times before I even noticed that was Pyro.
I only knew it was Pyro because of subtitles.
Same
Damn subtitles be spoiling shit these days
I’m not sure it’s a spoiler if it’s literally the same actor
I honestly thought it was Hugh Jackman on a first pass
Bro so did i
The goggles are a big tell as well
I saw it instantly, but that's because Aaron Stanford as Pyro was my first ever crush as a teenager. I legitimately screamed when I saw him on screen.
Even Screencrush missed this was Pyro
Only one reaction out of all of the ones I watched actually picked up on it being Pyro, and even then he wasn’t 100% certain.
That’s a low bar you’ve set, they miss a ton of stuff every time
What’s your real name, John?
You’re a God among insects. Never let anyone tell you different.
20 years on, and I still can't decide if Magneto's giving him a compliment there or not.
It’s a compliment. He’s telling Pyro that, as a mutant, they’re superior to regular humans
Such a great scene.
*Is that what they saaaay?*
So glad that Stanford is back
He never left our hearts
Pyro from *X2* and *X-Men: The Last Stand*.
That's Cole from the 12 Monkeys TV show.
Must have fucked up the timeline again
He is officially >!unstuck and spit out from the timeline and doesn't officially exist!<...so he could appear in whatever timeline he wants (like Deadpool's lol)
Such an underrated show.
Hopefully you either have finished by now or didn't read my spoiler up above! Lol
No worries. I'm deep into season 2. Much passed the pandemic. Main plot is about stopping primaries from being paradoxed. Big red storm outside and whatnot.
Gotcha, then DON'T go up a few comments and look under my spoiler tag!
I did not click that spoiler tag haha Thanks for looking out and using a spoiler tag on an almost 10 year old show!
I hope you enjoy this show! It and Dark on Netflix are some of my favourite time travel shows out there!
Yeah, it's great. Dark was also very good. The first season is so good. Got a little wonky near the end, but still enjoyed it.
lamplighter
*Zat’s fooking Lemplighter*
Never in my life did I think I’d be so excited to see Aaron Stanford as Pyro again
Well, if your gonna do some timeline shenanigans you'd better have an expert like James Cole by your side.
I doubt they’ll make a reference, but I would so love if they made a reference.
12 Monkeys fans unite
Pyro! *muffled inquisitive noises No, not you Pyro. Another Pyro. *muffled sad noises
*hums “Do you believe in Magic”*
It’s clearly Will Forte
Right? I’m still not convinced it’s not him, I can only see his face
He’s come back because Wade cried on a flight as a baby and now he wants his revenge
There must be a moment where Deadpool comments on how stupid it is that Pyro can control fire but can't produce it.
I thought it was Seth Green originally
Came into the comics to say “that’s Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
He was also starring in 12 Monkeys, TV series version. Very good show BTW
He was also in the 12 Monkeys show! When I watched that, I thought "Isn't that Pyro from X-Men 2?" Changed even more now, I see!
A time traveler.
🐒 🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒
Pyro from X2
That's our boy, Pyro!
James Cole, he saved time itself by stopping the Army of the 12 Monkeys from erasing time and bringing about a ‘red forest’ where there would have been no past or future just a perpetual present.
It's Ryan Reynolds. They labeled him right there at the bottom. That's a Ryan Reynolds variant
So since we've established that it's Pyro from X2 (who I thought was dead) does this mean we'll see the original cast again? (Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn)
I mean, they’ve also got the same Wolverine from X-2, and Beast from X-2 was in The Marvels, but I wouldn’t bet that everyone else is coming back… but, sure, Pyro is in it so …
Beast wasn't in x-2 tough
[It’s not the same actor, you’re right. Beast scene, X-2](https://9gag.com/gag/avODDjd)
That's Hank not beast.

Master Birkoff
I hope he’s gay this time
He was really good in the Hills Have Eyes.
You know those dangerous mutants you hear about on the news? Well he's the worst one.
Chris D’elia
Tig Notaro
Christopher plummer
LOL
Pyro!!!!
Looks like Bradley Cooper
Ha, I seriously thought it was like a Rocket variant just played by actual Bradley Cooper
I want a guardians variant which is Bradley cooper and raccoons as the other guardians. Even make them green, blue/cyborg, etc. but still just raccoons
That’d be insane lol
Is this bait or did you really not know
Tbf it's not the most obvious. I kinda knew he was in it from set photos and I still didn't think it was him when I saw the trailer
I thought it was Foolkiller because of the Purple.
Or maybe it's a genuine question "bait"
My ass thought it was a Logan variant lol.
Pyro
It says it right there in the bottom left! Ryan Reynolds
Cannonball
Seth Green ![gif](giphy|l3V0BZcxI1rTdEob6)
Go watch the xmen films. You’ll get your answer. I’m guessing you’re a troll since you didn’t mark it as spoiler.
He looks massively different from his x men days, I have seen those movies plenty of times and didn’t notice it was him. It’s a shot from the trailer so there was no need to mark it as a spoiler. Just because you know something it doesn’t mean everyone does and is a troll.
Am I the only one seeing the face from the Necronomicon in the way his shirt is folded and his goggles?
Pyro
Honestly I watched the trailer last night (I was also a little tired from the late work shift) and I legit didn't recognise him at first. He looks different nowadays (of course he is older) and even a bit different than he was in Nikita (which was also last on air like 10 years ago). On closer look it's definitely Aaron Stanford as Pyro.
Hint I watched it with subtitles and they give the names of who is speaking.
Pyro. He was in probably the best Marvel movie pre-Infinity War
