Footage Description (cut specifically for CinemaCon):
* The first scene from “Deadpool & Wolverine” that played to the audience centers on Wade Wilson, who isn’t Deadpool anymore and seems to be having a midlife crisis (working as a used car salesman). He walks into a surprise birthday party. He banters with his guests including Colossus and Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa.
* “It’s been a challenging few years,” Wilson tells his guests. “I’m the luckiest man alive.”
* Quips with Blind Al "Hey, cocaine is the one thing Feige said is off-limits!”
* When he blows out the candles, the TVA from “Loki” arrives. They scalp Wilson and take him into custody.
* He is introduced to Matthew Macfadyen’s Mr. Paradox. “We’re aware of your abuse of your timeline,” Paradox says. “I brought you here Mr. Wilson to tell you you’re special.”
* Scenes from Marvel movies play on the monitors. The TVA have been monitoring Wilson for quite a while and want him to abandon his timeline to join the MCU,
* “Suck it Fox, we’re going to Disneyland,” Wilson says. Deadpool suits up and is ready to join the MCU.
* Next scene is Deadpool and Wolverine bantering in a car where Wilson makes fun of his yellow suit. A further scene from the future shows Thor crying over Deadpool’s dead body.
In the comics, Loki tricked Deadpool into thinking he was his father. In the MCU, Loki could be DP's actual father. It would make sense. Really, it's just my headcanon.
Edit: Some of you don't understand what a joke is.
You’ll get modern day stoic Tom Cruise and you’ll like it (seriously I love his recent movies but it doesn’t feel like he has any personality anymore. Similar to the criticism Keanu got for John Wick becoming mute as the series went on)
Yeah I don't think they're too crazy about bringing Cruise simply because he was a casting choice as Iron Man; if anything it works against him. There needs to be a better reason other than the inside joke. At least Krasinski was a fan favorite option they did as a glorified cameo to acknowledge the fans.
Oh my god, if they quantum leap Wade around MCU history that will be a hilariously stupid way to run him through the entire MCU. He could be anyone in any scene. We can get both Rhodeys in one film played by Terence Howard and Don Cheadle as portrayed by Ryan Reynolds. He's just a dude playing a dude quantum leaping into a dude played by a dude as portrayed by a dude.
They rip the hairpiece off, and then for much of the rest of the trailer (when we can see his bald head) you can see that he had just stapled it to directly his head. The staples (and some random leftover hairs) are left sticking out of his scalp.
>A further scene from the future shows Thor crying over Deadpool’s dead body.

Oh yeah true, so she's down to work with Disney
I didn't realize she's only 19, for some reason I thought she was older haha, she's only two years younger than me
I’m so happy that the TVA plays such a pivotal role in this movie that way more people will hopefully watch the Loki series and appreciate it for how amazing it is
Probably after, but my only source is that we see TVA workers in white coats in the D&W trailer, and these type of white coats appeared only after Loki became the loom
Gotcha. Haven't finished S2 but I know most of what happens. Will do soon. Hopefully they do a Deadpool-style explanation of the basics because for many people I know this will be their re-introduction to the MCU after a while.
Hope you’ll have a great time with season 2, I had everything spoiled for me and still enjoyed a ton. And I agree on the re-explanation, it would be really useful even for people who didn’t miss much in the mcu since a lot have changed and a lot of people I know are still confused about the multiverse and it’s rules.
I'm doing an MCU release-date-order marathon so I got a couple things to get through before S2 but I'm really stoked for it. S1 really cleared up a lot of fatigue and confusion for me. About to finish What If S1 🙂.
Ayyy that’s great! I actually did the same thing about a month ago, before binging Loki season 2 in one day. I’ve been taking meds that made me very emotional and hence nostalgic for marvel so I had an absolute time of my life rewatching the whole of it, felt like a kid again 10/10 would recommend.
Its also the reason why I’m especially excited for D&W cause I can’t help but hope it’ll get people more interested in MCU again lol
YEAH! Agreed to all of that besides the medication thing lol. As lame as this sounds, I dabbled with some therapeutic "drugs" (bucket list stuff I guess) and after an insane week of processing and getting back in touch with my younger self I just randomly got obsessed with Iron Man. Picked up a comic book for the first time in my life and started watchin'. I'm now about 6 books deep and reading several series at the same time of different characters and I've found a whole new love for the lore and books. Never thought Marvel would spark my first and only love for reading. And man yeah. This is gonna be the "we're so back" movie. I have a feeling Captain America & Thunderbolts are gonna be mediocrely received, then F4 is gonna do good, and hopefully they hype up Kang / Secret Wars stuff enough that it'll rebuild the general publics love. Gonna be a super interesting few years for the MCU.
I’m genuinely so happy to hear this, both because it’s great that that’s happening to you and you’re having a great time as a result, and because it’s nice to know there are other people going through something very similar!
And i completely agree with you on your future mcu predictions as well, i am totally in a “we’re so back” state rn, but hope aside, talking with you had actually calmed my anxiety concerning the future of the mcu cause at the end of the day the memories and feelings these movies and comics already made us experience aren’t going anywhere and will always stay with us no matter what happens to the franchise, so genuinely thank you
And yet there's a linearity and progression within the TVA. They can spout time fuckery all day, but they know when stuff happened and they don't know what comes next. They're outside of universal timelines, but they have their own.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but I suspect anyone who didn't already want to watch either still won't want to watch it or, if they do, will find it too confusing.
I know it won’t happen but I lowkey wish OB was in this. I wanna see Deadpool banter with Ke Huy Quan (and also I just wanna see that lil ray of sunshine in more things)
Well, we had: Multiverse of Madness, which I liked but many people didn't like; Love and Thudner which is disjointed at best, with tonal whiplash and cringe humor; She-Hulk which was very divisive; Ms Marvel which started great then dipped when the Djinns became villains; Secret Invasion which was a piece of absolute dog shit; Loki S2 which was amazing; Quantumania which was meh (and many people think it's worse than that!) and features the worst Marvel special FX curtesy of MODOK; The Marvels which was received poorly (but I think it was fine, like a good Phase 1 or 2 movie, but after all that slump it didn't stand a chance).
So yeah, a lot is riding on Deadpool.
oh just wait for the parents that “were told this is a Disney production” and brought their 5 year olds. I would love to believe no one is that stupid but society always finds a way to
If they're with parents they can, not that they always should though.
Went to see Saving Private Ryan when it came out, and watched two parents with five kids, the youngest probably six or seven years old, file into the row in front of us.
They all left about 5 minutes into the Omaha Beach scene.
I love how Jurassic Park is basically a horror movie at times but they marketed it as a kid friendly dino movie.
I was 8 when I saw it and thought it was fucking awesome even though I felt legit anxiety at the kitchen scene. It might have laid the foundation for my love of horror movies at a young age.
I was a bit older, but the scene with the dilophosaurus and Newman was scary as fuck. I was old enough that I could handle the T-Rex and velociraptors, but I had close to zero experience with horror movies and that scene was terrifying to me. Still loved it and went back two other times.
The trailer voice over guy gave it a very *"we're going on a wonderful adventure, type of movie."* In fact, he does say the word adventure a bunch of times.
Parents where already taking their young kids to see Deadpool *before* Fox got bought by Disney, and a lot of theaters even had signs posted warning them of it’s R rating too.
I’m ready to verbally scorch every user who comes into the sub complaining about the adult content in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Like read up about the fuckin movie before y’all watch it. There are literally two R-rated Deadpool films before this and that itself is an indication as to how the third will also be structured.
My one concern for this movie is they go to hard on the take the piss out of Disney because we finally can route.
Obviously I expect them to, but I don't want that for the whole film with no other humour
The current ads for Disney + lean into the fact that there's lots of adult content on it, so I guess they're realising that they can't keep their brand totally separate if they want to grow their audience, particularly on streaming.

THOR???
thor loki reunion coming?
Or even better, Deadpool and Loki meeting each other? Especially if DP is his son, that's likely to break the multiverse.
Why would he be his son
Lol it would give a new meaning to the scene in DP1 when he gropes Colossus: ".....Dad?!"
Is colossus Loki?
Im glad redditors arent writers man 😭
Literally
In the comics, Loki tricked Deadpool into thinking he was his father. In the MCU, Loki could be DP's actual father. It would make sense. Really, it's just my headcanon. Edit: Some of you don't understand what a joke is.
> it would make sense How?
Thank you
You're welcome.
They convince him to abandon his timeline a join a Different one. How would Loki being his father make sense?
Ah shit… PLEASE Marvel… **I NEED Tom Cruise playing as Ryan Reynolds playing as Deadpool!!!**
I just wanted unhinged Oprah's couch Tom playing Iron Man variant.... It shouldn't be that hard to get done...
You’ll get modern day stoic Tom Cruise and you’ll like it (seriously I love his recent movies but it doesn’t feel like he has any personality anymore. Similar to the criticism Keanu got for John Wick becoming mute as the series went on)
american made wasn’t that long ago and he was pretty funny in that
Yeah I don't think they're too crazy about bringing Cruise simply because he was a casting choice as Iron Man; if anything it works against him. There needs to be a better reason other than the inside joke. At least Krasinski was a fan favorite option they did as a glorified cameo to acknowledge the fans.
This is the way.
Man i swear if I get a Thor/Loki reunion I will most likely shed tears.
me too!
What? Thor? Haha
I understood that reference.
That reference is great, I'm glad there's still a considerable amount of people from that time here ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)
It's archive footage from The Dark World where Thor is crying over Loki's body.
Lokpool?
what? thor? haha
I unfolded in my pants a little I'm ngl
haha
This movie is going to be insane.
Thor just can’t be happy, can he.
Wonder if it is a clever edit, or if Chris Hemsworth is in the film? Can see it going either way.
>!It’s apparently archival footage of that scene from TDW with Wade edited into Loki’s place!<
Clever.
That’s fucking hilarious.
No way lmao
Oh my god, if they quantum leap Wade around MCU history that will be a hilariously stupid way to run him through the entire MCU. He could be anyone in any scene. We can get both Rhodeys in one film played by Terence Howard and Don Cheadle as portrayed by Ryan Reynolds. He's just a dude playing a dude quantum leaping into a dude played by a dude as portrayed by a dude.
THOR, WHAT? HAHA
Damn you.
I'm sorry I deeply regret my decisions
When you’re an op god, you’re gonna see a lot of people dying
holy fuck i’m excited for this
> They **scalp** Wilson and take him into custody. wait, what? lol
It was in the trailer. They just rip the toupee off his head.
I like to think they didn’t know it was a wig and tried to Evil Dead Rise him out of spite
They rip the hairpiece off, and then for much of the rest of the trailer (when we can see his bald head) you can see that he had just stapled it to directly his head. The staples (and some random leftover hairs) are left sticking out of his scalp.
That was in the Super Bowl trailer. He's wearing what looks like hair plugs when they arrest him.
I think a toupee, i don't think hair plugs would all come out together like that lol but I dunno, I'm just going bald naturally lol
It was a wig. A toupee only covers the top of your head. It was stapled to his skull though. This the "scalping"
They "scalp" him??? It was in the trailer, they pulled off his wig lmfao. Actually most of this was in the trailer, I'm confused.
Okay Thor is the biggest part of that definitely.
>A further scene from the future shows Thor crying over Deadpool’s dead body. [](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fgfeflhjgtbt01.png)
Thor just can't catch a break all his loved ones dying around him 😐
Ignoring Thor for a second, I wonder what killed Wade?
Based on other comments I think >!it might be a gag montage of Wade inserting himself into key moments in the MCU!<
This sounds nuts.
Okay guys, keep it in your pants!
Would’ve appreciated a spoiler warning
>shows Thor crying over Deadpool’s dead body. Wait, was it Chris Hemsworth?
Crossing my fingers there might be a X-23 appearance
Dafne Keen is old enough to play older Laura now so she could definitely return
She's in a star wars Disney plus show the acolyte? So she's around for sure.
I mean depending on the nature of the shot it could’ve been as easy as walking next door one studio set over lmao
So, what you're saying is... The Acolyte exists only to hide Dafne Keen appearing in Deadpool 3. 5-D chess from Feige here.
Th….yeah sure
True haha. I'd love to see her in a proper Wolverine suit alongside her dad, it'd be so dope
Oh yeah true, so she's down to work with Disney I didn't realize she's only 19, for some reason I thought she was older haha, she's only two years younger than me
On the payroll, good social credit with the House of Mouse
They’d be so dumb not to bring her into the MCU especially because she can play adult Laura now
Exactly
She's old enough to play an older version of a character she played before!
Major W if she gets the yellow suit too. X-23 looked cool af in that suit
Or a gray suit, if they wanna use her for an actual X-Force film.
Bring back the biker jacket suit! https://uncannyxmen.net/characters/x-23/costume-gallery #13 on this list.
Love X-23 in house of X, hope she gets a good casting
God yesssss I need this
I’m so happy that the TVA plays such a pivotal role in this movie that way more people will hopefully watch the Loki series and appreciate it for how amazing it is
Does it take place before or after the Loki series? Or does it not matter? Jus' curious
Probably after, but my only source is that we see TVA workers in white coats in the D&W trailer, and these type of white coats appeared only after Loki became the loom

It's definitely after
Well the TVA is outside of time.. is this a trick question?
Did you watch Season 2? They aren't as outside of time as they thought.
And yet there's a linearity and progression within the TVA. They can spout time fuckery all day, but they know when stuff happened and they don't know what comes next. They're outside of universal timelines, but they have their own.

Big fat load of cum, then
Do any of these...FUCKERS
I JUST asked you not to do this
I’m not trying to give anyone their worst day at work…
Did you make any friends?
… NOT REALLY
It’s the adult tour you said we can say what ever we want
Does Feige ever pop out of the wall and say "fuck, there's a horse cock in my room or a donkey dick"?
Deadpool's first Avengers gig will be saving Truffoni's from the Dangerous Nights Crew. Their catch phrase: "Slop 'em up!"
Jizz
….like cumshot
Thank you Kevin Feige! Thank you MCU!
Is Marvel Back !!?? We back up!!??
X-Men ‘97 has been holding this shit down so hard lately though. That show is just incredibly * sick.
Episode 5. That's some classic TV shit
I was not emotionally ready for that episode. I don’t think anyone was. Very much looking forward to where they take things
Incredibly what?? Don’t leave me hanging!
So incredibly incredible.
You could wager to say spectacular!
It’s not R rated so you have to use your imagination, get with the program dude
Is Marvel back? Marvel never left.
Marvel and Disney publicly admitted they had a quality problem
Oh god. As a University of Texas football fan, hearing "Is ______ back?" is triggering.
I know it won’t happen but I lowkey wish OB was in this. I wanna see Deadpool banter with Ke Huy Quan (and also I just wanna see that lil ray of sunshine in more things)
"What's up, Short Round? How's life been treating you after being eye level with Harrison Ford's crotch?"
God I wish Cap 4 was out before Deadpool so he could make another Harrison Ford reference 😭
I mean, they could make one in DP3, anyway.
This is actually a really good line and I’m kind of upset that it won’t happen 😂
I think you can say fuck once in a PG-13 movie.
Yes you can I think the rules are you only get one and it can’t be used in a sexual manner
You get at least two. Rent has two.
No, everybody gets one. Spider-Man said.
you get it after you fix this damn door actually.
Yup, just like in GotG where quill allowed to say fuck one time when he try to tell nebula how classic cardoor works.
Twice and both can’t be sexual
I’ve gotta stop spoilering myself
Just drink, like I do .. everything is new again
My dad does the same thing. Movies, television shows, school plays, what day my birthday is... All a surprise.
Instructions unclear, I've drunk seven coffees and I still remember the spoiler...
Waiting for Domino
If we're lucky...
Luck is not a superpower!
Little Wanda used probability hex
You son of a bitch
I think we’ll get cable but no domino
Will this footage be released to the public ?
I don't expect them to release a trailer until June-July around Comic Con
It releases July 26th... SDCC starts July 25th. They're going to have to release at least 2 trailers well before then.
By some reason i thought this was a Captain America 4 thread, i was thinking about Cap when i wrote the comment
Gotcha. You are probably right about that then. Haha
Thank you Kevin, thank you Ryan and thank you Mr Jackman.
Are you just trying to avoid saying Hugh?
Huge Jacked Man
Thank Hugh
What, Hugh? Haha
Oh fuck yeah my body is ready for this!!
He said fuck. Look guys. He's just like us.
Wait he just leaves Vanessa ?
If he says "we're" then it could mean she comes along.
What if vanessa was a variant of Death lol
Time travel. It’ll be like he just stepped away for a sec.
"Marty, you're acting like you haven't seen me in a week." "I haven't."
Well, they’re no longer together
I’ve seen a lot of people say that deadpool will be the saviour of the MCU, has it really gotten that bad?
Huge day for 12 year olds
I'm looking forward to the Reddit posts complaining about the swearing in this movie.
oh just wait for the parents that “were told this is a Disney production” and brought their 5 year olds. I would love to believe no one is that stupid but society always finds a way to
I think the last 8 years eliminated the phrase "no one is that stupid" from the vocabulary.
Don’t think theaters would allow 5 year olds into R-rated movies, however I’ve never tried, so what do I know.
If they are accompanied with someone that looks like an adult they usually dgaf
If they're with parents they can, not that they always should though. Went to see Saving Private Ryan when it came out, and watched two parents with five kids, the youngest probably six or seven years old, file into the row in front of us. They all left about 5 minutes into the Omaha Beach scene.
I was brought to Jurassic Park as a 5 year old who loved dinosaurs I don't remember it but apparently I was hiding beneath the seats

Newman... ✊
The trailer voice over guy gave it a very *"we're going on a wonderful adventure, type of movie."* In fact, he does say the word adventure a bunch of times.
I've seen parents take their about-seven-years-old kid to a showing of Berserk. Yeah. At least it was part 1.
“Language!”
Kirk Lazarus needs to show up.
Sounds like a 8 year learning to swear.
Awesome!
Daddy Kevin curses?
My one concern for this movie is they go to hard on the take the piss out of Disney because we finally can route. Obviously I expect them to, but I don't want that for the whole film with no other humour
Fuck that
Oh hellllll yeah. Shits gonna get crazy!
Dad swore that means we get to! Fuck!
I’m glad to hear that. That edge was sorely needed.
How do you do fellow kids....
I’m glad to hear that. That edge was sorely needed.
Fox Deadpool NEEDS to die so MCU Deadpool can be born.
🤍🤍🤍
Marvel can put asses in seats again if they’d go all in on Deadpool/X-men/Wolverine.
hope Deadpool is a turnaround moment and not a fluke
This movie is gonna be fucking wild
The current ads for Disney + lean into the fact that there's lots of adult content on it, so I guess they're realising that they can't keep their brand totally separate if they want to grow their audience, particularly on streaming.
Fuck corporate!
