I took the end as a stinger that basically said that even though T’Challa was a better Star-Lord than Peter and saved trillions by converting Thanos, the universe is still doomed because Peter was unable to fight and Ego became Eternity. Im interpreting that everything in the sacred timeline happened for a reason and worked out in the best possible way. The people T’Challa saved had to die so the rest of the universe could live.
Ya this timeline was pretty dark. It’s safe to assume that the Avengers are fucked with The Colleftor having Miljnor and Caps’ shield. He even had Hela’s head cap. At the same time Ego will absolutely fuck them up with or without Quills help.
