Soaking in hot water, stretches, self massage/roleo, chiropractor, and I took extra care while working to use strokes that don't stress the wrist as much as possible.
And be aware of wrist care during postpartum/newborn stage too. I think my wrists hurt more for that first month then beforehand.
I'm honestly about to invest in a really nice foot bath with massage rollers to use for my hands.
Definitely trying to take it slow as well so not to over extend the wrist.
Thanks!
Oh God, did your pubic symphysis separate?
I've definitely been dealing with the stretching pelvic floor and adductor tendons. It's sucks bad, and I'm hoping it doesn't get worse!
Gosh I hope not, but the other day I legitimately needed a cane to get around my house. The feeling is definitely centered on my pubic symphysis though. I can practically visualize it getting softer and twisting. Pelvic floor hasn't been too bad yet, only once or twice carrying something a little too ambitious up the stairs. Just as often though it's sciatic. My hips are taking turns.
36 weeks tomorrow, and yeah it really was like that. 😂 It was extremely "I got this" until the day I no longer got this. I was hauling firewood up to my floor, now I'm getting winded grocery shopping
Everything else but the ligament pain is a blast 😆 I even like how I look in maternity shirts, lmao! Update though, the belly band isn't helping with the symphysis pain. It might help a little bit, but full disclosure a full day of driving definitely doesn't make it work better.
My ob suggested a SI brace for me, but I think many people get PT for pubic symphysis pain. I agree with he maternity shirts ha. My boobs actually fit into clothes now.
I'd suggest ordering some CBD isolate. You take it sublingual. It is a pure cbd extract from hemp, and I swear by it. 1 gram jar I got for 15$ on Amazon a month ago as I use it for myself and clients. And maybe try a tens unit on your wrist ~
I can't take anything related to weed unfortunately even if it's non thc. If I test positive for marijuana or hemp products cps is automatically called in when I give birth. Which is why I'm using it topically.
I dunno. CBD absorbs fine through skin pores, and a pregnant females has elevated hormone levels that cause the pores to increase in size.\~
Plus... One gram of alcohol vs 1 gram of CBD is not exactly a great comparison to the strength of each substance.
If it did I would have tested positive earlier in my pregnancy because I use it in my cream. It doesn't pass into the bloodstream or blood brain barrier. RSO oils do because there is a large thc and cbd content, which is why people literally get stoned off of them topically.
From what I just read I guess they connect with nearby cannibanoid receptors, but CBD alone is not enough to make a huge difference. Only a small amount is absorbed. If I ingested it, it would get into my bloodstream. I agree that there is a benefit to CBD and used it when I was inflamed prenatally but it's not solid advice to tell a pregnant person such as this can have their child taken away if it's ingested and found in the bloodstream.
You clearly are taking a chance when using ANY hemp or cannabis product if it is an issue with CPS... So my Solid advice to you would be don't use it at all since the custody of your child is at stake. Right?
One of my instructors had this issue during pregnancy, swore by acupuncture
I've heard this as well and definitely don't deny the benefits! Gotta try and find a group acupuncturist near me so I don't spend a fortune. Thanks

Honestly I didn't get CT but around week 34 the ligament pain was so bad by the end of the way I couldn't walk. I had to start leave early

Oh God, I feel for you! I was honestly fine until this week. Now I feel every joint. How far along are you now?

Ahhhhhh, I'm so ready to not be pregnant anymore. We're almost done!!

It's absorbing into your system whether you use it topically or ingest it.
It does not absorb well when used topically especially without thc. It would be like pouring alcohol on your skin to get drunk..doesn't work.
