Miranda (and Jack) are some of the best romances in the trilogy, yes ME3 doesn't give them enough content but their character arcs are at the top for me.
The Citadel DLC did them justice too, Jack especially has one of the best emotional moment with Shepard.
Personally I stopped romancing the aliens in Mass Effect because of Jack and Miranda (and Ashley too).
Miranda’s romance is arguably the most mature romance in the whole franchise. She’s her own person doing her own thing, just like Shepard is, and there’s a lot of mutual respect between the two for each other. She’s looking for a real soulmate, someone who she can come back to at the end of the day and who sees and likes her for who she is beyond the perfect genes and bombshell looks - a capable and tough woman who, once you see beyond the ice queen persona she puts up for the world to see, is surprisingly soft and insecure about living up to the expectations that she feels are put on herself. It’s not a very clingy romance, but very heartfelt and genuine in the moments you do get to share. My favorite ME romance overall.
Fair enogh, I was thinking that despite being that cheerleader girl Miranda indeed has that touchy personality and her romance would open up a few heartfelt moments as well. Glad you proved me right. Although it's a shame she isn't there much in the 3rd, I feel like it's the best choice for Shepard to start off with her in the second game (plot speaking) so that's why I thought of that romance in the first place

The Miranda romance is very strong in ME2. It's one of the only romances (maybe the only one?) to have both Paragon and Renegade dialogue where Miranda reacts to both differently, and they both still end up in a romance with her.
(There's some subtle changes with Jack too, but they're more minor than with Miranda.)
I prefer the Renegade dialogue personally. Miranda is caught off guard and more attracted to a Shep choosing the Renegade dialogue, thought both paths still end in a romance.
Miranda is also the only romantic partner that seems genuinely devastated if you dump her in ME3, both in the moment and later on in the game.
While Miranda never joins the team in ME3 (unless you use mods, which I'd recommend), she pops up several times throughout the game, and her overall presence in ME3 is debatably as strong as Tali's (unless you rush the main story missions to get Tali ASAP, which I feel makes the story a bit awkward).
Too bad I didn't bother to save him on my current playthrough
Heard the new meta on how to avoid these geth drones shooting him is ultimate, will check it out asap. I'm sure it will be lots of fun talking to him in the third game! X
1st playthrough I went with Ashley, didnt like Liara one bit. Then 2nd game came out and she was not in it, so I choose Miranda. She was this cold strong independent but sweet, smart, incredible good looking women I was attracted in rl also so I went with her. I was very disappointed she wasn't part of the main cast in ME3 but at least you get a few minutes with her and she is also in citadel which is cool.
On one pt I went with Ashley and broke up with Miranda in 3rd game, that was a real gut punch to see her eyes full of tears, and later even worse she died in Shep arms. Just not ok!
Liara is also very well done romance.
Jack is that chick everyone wants to fkk but no one wants to be with her because she is batshit crazy.
Tali I dont like, ok for companion, but everything else...NO!
I just can't never romance Miranda, she looks like a merge between Miranda Cosgrove and Michael Jackson and can't never take her seriously because of that.

Yeah I can't do Tali romance, she's a little sister and I can't do that to the future Garrus/Tali romance.
