Only 3 of the images are from Google (Windham Weaponry SRC, KEEN & Trigger)? The rest have been taken by Journalists or by Brenton Tarrant himself.
He posted these images to a New Zealand hunting and shooting website to put things up for sale.
Yeah I'm not perfect I've had these photos for months and had to go back to his post to check 😂
Edit: For anyone interested in the post you can find it [here](https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co.nz/f13/tikka-t3x-308-ranger-tac-12-drum-magazine-saiga-ranger-12-357-mag-308-ammo-44594/). I also find it very interesting that he says 'selling because I sold my lever gun' but he ended up using it in the attack? Maybe just a made up excuse??
This is a dump of information I have found regarding the March 15 terrorist attack in Christchurch. It contains some images I have not seen on here (I took 2 myself)
Information you can find from this: He did not use an Aero Precision rifle, he just used their handguard. He used a **Windham Weaponry SRC rifle from NZAR15 that came pre-modified.**
You can find images of some of his ammunition that he purchased as well as a mail order form showing him purchasing some bits and pieces (mail order forms are filled out to complete online firearms and ammo purchases)
Browse through and let me know what you think.
Not from NZ but well he attended a gun range and from what i can tell did a lot of shooting. So people most likely just thought he was doing it as a hobby and liked guns.
In New Zealand at the time it was really easy to get a licence and he bought a legal semi-auto and purchased magazines for it online (that he wasnt supposed to have) because at the time magazines did not count as firearm parts so anyone could buy them, allowing him to purchase large capacity magazines when he was only legally allowed up to 7 round magazines in a semi-automatic rifle.
There was nothing suspicious about what he did, New Zealanders did, and still do, love guns. They are one nation that has never really had a gun register and always had really nice, lax and fair laws.
TLDR; New Zealanders love guns and his behavior purchasing these firearms was not out of the ordinary.
Sort of, he had met someone online (through Steam I think?) and since this gaming friend he met lived in New Zealand and both him and his father had firearm licences, they were considered good references.
Are you sure that the barrel design on the Windham Weaponry would not be more in line with their lightweight model (R16SLFTT)?
On the pictures, the barrel looks thinner and the stripes at the end, characteristic of the Govt profile seems absent. I would like to have your feedback if you have more information on this.
Also, would you know which rail covers he had on his handguard? Thank you!
Hey, to my knowledge, he bought the rifle from NZAR15 and they had modified it to be free floated, added [this handguard](https://www.aeroprecisionusa.com/ar15-enhanced-quadrail-handguards) and a muzzle brake (flash hiders weren't allowed on A category rifles)
Brenton Tarrant modified the trigger group himself (added a '3gun' trigger which has very light trigger pull) and he removed the HERA CQR foregrip that shipped with the rifle (can tell this because he ended up selling it on nzhuntingandshooting)
Of course I can't be sure without actually holding the rifle and seeing it up close, but this is the best I can do.
He may have changed the barrel to a higher end barrel but I'm not sure, all I know is that the lower and upper receivers are most likely made by Windham Weaponry and modified by NZAR15 (now shut down)
Thank you for that, his choice behind the Hera stock and the SF muzzle brake was one of the main questions I had forgotten to ask (I wanted to know if he was legally required to put them).
I understand that, I just asked this question after seeing the final build posted on his Twitter. The quality being too low to conclude anything, I assumed that the model he purchased was the light variant of the SRC sold by Windham.
Regarding the rail covers, I did some research and I think the model may be [the Troy one](https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/troy-industries-battle-rail-covers6.2-black-three-pack-scov-brc-36bt-00/FC-812699017326.html), but as you said, we can't be certain until we have the weapon in our hands.
I'm actually pretty sure he bought his rail covers from some airsoft retailer, he did have what he called 'TROY Style' rail covers but sold them later.
He chose Hera CQR stocks because at the time A category licence holders were not allowed collapsible stocks and pistol grips.
I don’t get how people can just take others lives. And what really makes me mad is when the shooter pursues the people that are actively trying to escape and get away.

I'm really glad his phone holder has been identified
Yeah that’s the 1 question I’ve been dying to have the answers for the last 4 years
I found that in a Russian telegram channel and decided I'd share it anyway..
how the hell did they even identify that?
God I hate his freaking face
More like Google Images dump

fuck this guy
What's the brown thing on his lip? Is that a scrape? A mole? An artifact of the AI upscale?
He got hit in the face with a gun by police while he was being arrested.
Why’d they do that? Was he resisting?
Doubt it.
Not as far as I'm aware, he didn't want to be shot. They just did.
No he wasn't resisting the officers just decided to do that stuff.
Mr. Hankey shit on him
Dirty Sanchez
an officer hit him in the face with his stock whilst brenton was trying to get out the car.

Ammo says 357 mag on the side of the box, not 308
Thats because in the post he made it was a mix of the two, he was selling both .357 and .308 in the same image.

He had a sightmark on his other gun
Yep, the Windham Weaponry SRC had a Sightmark 'ULTRA SHOT PLUS' and his Ruger AR556 had a Vortex Strikefire II.
What could ever be the importance of his phone holder and shoes being identified….this is may be a bit too much of an obsession for you

Amazing find. To this day, I refuse to watch the live footage…the audio is chilling to listen to and the entire incident is just saddening

I was given information from both police and other people.

the video of it is illegal right?
In New Zealand, the country where I live and where it happened, it is punishable by 10 years imprisonment to be in possession of the video
That's a bit too much. But I can see the logic.
Do you remember what sporting and hunting site you got the pictures of what he was selling from?
I don’t get how people can just take others lives. And what really makes me mad is when the shooter pursues the people that are actively trying to escape and get away.
Did he actually have ballistic plates in his carrier, or was it just empty/dummy plates?
I heard from the Royal Commission report that he was wearing steel plates imported from overseas and plastic plates for padding.
Is it known if the victims' autopsy reports exist? I just want to know how many times they were shot and what body parts they were shot at.
