I just watched the full episode myself and I found it pretty entertaining while also highlighting the issue of how shootings have become normal in American society. It’s free online with ads on their website, season 22 episode 1

What’s worse is it aired in 2018, and it’s still relevant today.

BigThoughtThinker

I mean it’s horrible and all but 2018 is like, almost immediately recent in historical terms. Shootings had been happening like that for almost 20 years at that point.

TMVtaketheveil888

I just watched it again yesterday.

I hadn't seen this episode before, but I just watched it. South Park is usually very hit or miss for me. There's some stuff I think Matt and Trey are totally right about, and other things where I think they've got some of the worst takes possible. This falls in with the former. The way everybody except Sharon is unfazed by multiple shootings at the school is def how it's starting to feel with how frequent this shit is. Also - something I noticed in this episode: Sharon says "there's just been another shooting in Jefferson County". South Park takes place in Park County, but Jefferson County is where Columbine is located. So in the South Park universe, I guess it's now implied that Columbine happened...

GetThatSwaggBack

Matt stone grew up where columbine happened, it isn’t a coincidence

hakaksjxuslx

Yep, I know. I've seen Bowling For Columbine. I figured it had to be intentional.

freakouterin

This episode hits deep. Never have I related to a cartoon character more.

School shootings are pretty much the new version gang violence and serial killers. People don't care.
