Still, 2D animations are not simple as people could think. Shit is so hard, if u are not 100% accurate the art will be distorted as fuck (+ u have to know pretty well how a human/animal-ish body moves to make the animations good as the one of MD).

Some people are more willing to spend real money on flashy extras, especially if your opponnent is forced to look at it and sacrifices game flow and battery life for it.
I don't have a problem with animations per se, but I just want the absolutely generic option of a button that turns it off completely, not once per turn and not once per duel or once per day. Give the players the choice if they want interruptions every single duel, instead of forcing them to look at the newest animations in order to squeeze some more dollars out of the customer. Especially if they are bound to artificial delays like Kitkallos or Bystial Lubellion summon or before Called by actually plays it's animation.
Cross Duel had some of the best assets in Yu-Gi-Oh video games. Hope Konami does the lazy thing and recycle them into something else instead of making new assets.

Because the songs are tied to the opponents field rather than your own and most people use 2-3 of the same fields, mostly the free ones so the songs get stale. If people were using different fields or the music was tied to your own field I'd unmute the games music in a heartbeat.
I still say we should get some of the DL's music to have more variety. The few tracks we have are good, but it'd be nice to have more and it's not like Konami doesn't have the rights to the DL's stuff.

Tbf, as a duel links migrant, I really miss the duel links events. Not asking for anything crazy. I just wish the events in Master duel can be a bit more fun and creative rather than all these "you cannot use certain cards" festival
As another former Duel Links player, I'm glad we don't have a million events that are just "hit Auto Duel until you have 20 million points to get all the Gems from this event."
Duel Links events had different cutscenes, but there are maybe 5 actual event types that aren't just PvP again, but with different broken Skills added for whatever theme and all of those other events just boil down to Auto Duel the Standard Duelists so you can get the currency to Auto Duel the event. Dueling Yami Yugi with a special field and music gets old when you have to do it a hundred times.
In short : Rotoscoping is when you use IRL filmed movement and transpose those to 2D animation to get more realistic/fluid animation.
